Senator John Thune (R-SD), a coffee boy for Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), said that Republican voters attempting to punish senators who voted to convict former President Donald Trump during the Senate impeachment trial are engaging in “cancel culture.”
Obviously, this man doesn’t have a clue what cancel culture is. How can we have politicians representing Republicans when they don’t even know what cancel culture is? Nobody is saying they want them silenced, and no one is saying they don’t think they should ever work again. They are simply exercising their Constitutional right to decide who will represent them and their state, and if the majority of Republican voters feel that the seven turncoat GOP Senators who sided with the radical leftist Woke Supremacy mob Democrats to unconstitutionally try a private citizen for something he didn’t do isn’t their top choice then they have the right to let their grievances be heard and there is no better way I can think of to let politicians know they done screwed up than to vote them out of office.
“There was a strong case made,” Thune told the AP about the House impeachment managers’ arguments. “People could come to different conclusions. If we’re going to criticize the media and the left for cancel culture, we can’t be doing that ourselves.”
Not really. The Democrat House impeachment managers lied, they altered documents, and they withheld exculpatory evidence. In fact, legal scholars have said that had they been in a courtroom they not only would have faced disbarment but could have been charged with crimes and faced prison.

Well, another one down.
We must do both simultaneously... we can do more than one thing at a time. We need to organize reform movements in both major parties... yes, I said both. The idea is to subvert and eventually co-opt both parties... bringing them back to reality and conformity with the US Constitution. Why should we give up our historic political parties to appease small groups of well-organized and entrenched miscreants of political power... why not take back both major political parties... there is nothing written in stone that says we can't... other than a lack of commitment, leadership, and resourcing... all of which is available if we can identify and convince the right individuals to step forward.
I ask again... why should we surrender either political party to the Marxist? Why not take them back, beginning with the local party committees and working our way up to the RNC and DNC.
If we had the correct numbers of representatives as the constitution requires, and allow only 2 terms, limit their employees to maybe 3, cut their pay in half, and send them home to their districts, they would be beholden to We the people, instead of wining and dining with lobbyists in the swamp. Maybe then things would work as they should.
We could also accomplish most everything we NEED by closing down EVERY FEDGOV department, agency, office and bureau which is NOT SUPPORTED by Article 1 Section 8 of the US Constitution. That way we could be rid of MOST of the regulation-producing aspects of FedGov, and MOST of the Democrat Bureaucrats who ruin the lives and businesses of countless millions of ordinary American citizens. Taxes would plummet, the need for congressional oversight committees and NEW LAWS would plummet, and the opportunities for SCOTUS mucking things up would also plummet.
That us right. We are being ruled by unelected beaurocrats, resulting in the federal government as the largest employer. It is not supposed to be that way. And that does not include state and local beaurocracies and their demands upon us.
How does anyone think that they can "reform" the dim party? The dim voters continue to elect the worst of the bad even when they have someone that would be less radical running in a primary. No one in the dim party wants to fix it. The dim party is already a lost cause.
The GOP does have a chance to be changed because there are still a large number of GOP politicians that are not compromised and the others can be primaried. The GOP isn't lost yet.
All of this is a moot point if there isn't something done about the election fraud that has been going on for many years and the dims finally managed to perfect control of the vote count in the last election. Without real election reform, it is all a lost cause no matter what happens in the parties.
Again I will answer you Ron: because the everyday dems don't care if they are socialist/communist or not, the dem leadership has already sold out to the communists and appear to be taking their marching orders from the chi-coms-- Just my opinion Ron
Of course, the Democrats are operating as a Marxist Party... but there can never be party reform if one doesn't attempt to subvert the Democrat Party by infiltration. We must organize and do the hard work at the local level to remove the agents of Marxism and Globalism from both of our historic political parties... We should not give up on the political front... war.
Capitulation to the enemy never won a single battle in history... I ask again: Why should we give up our historic political system? And again, which is easier: too, reform an existing political party or start a new one? Instead of starting new parties why not take out the trash and sweep clean our forefather's political parties?
Ron, I tend to agree with you, but the every day dems are not looking for forgiveness or reconciliation, I point to the lack of condemnation of this past summer's rioting, looting, and burning not only by the dem leadership but the everyday guy/gal too, not a peep to be heard
The left would have us believe that the base of the Democrat Party is securely in the hands of the Communist/Socialist... that it is futile to resist. However, if one strips away their propaganda cloak.... they will uncover lots of dissension and turmoil among their base.
We must exploit this weakness (their arrogance) and over time convince its base that their opposition to our historical culture and Constitutional Government has chained them ot Big Government programs that are counter productive to their best interests... that the Left wants them as their neutered drones in a Marxist COLLECTIVE... designed to enslave them while the party Party bosses live a life of luxury, that profits from their misery.
