Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib violated the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 by paying herself a salary from her campaign after securing victory in the 2018 general election, the House Ethics Committee unanimously ruled on Friday.
The Ethics committee found that Tlaib violated FECA’s personal use restrictions by paying herself $10,800 from her campaign when she was no longer a congressional candidate in late 2018 and ordered her to repay that amount back to her campaign within one year, the committee said in a report.
The committee “determined that the evidence is sufficient to support a determination that a portion of the salary payments that Representative Tlaib received after the 2018 general election was inconsistent with the requirements outlined by [FECA] and its implementing regulations,” the report read.

Rest assured the Democrats will make an example out of her conduct.... her name will go up in lights right next to Biden's and the rest of the crooks in the Democrat Party leadership. It is this kind of conduct that recommends their members for promotion and bigger crimes... as they seem to be immune to prosecution.

I wonder who is on the Ethics Committee. Has anyone known of any democrat, ANY democrat, who as acted ethically since Clinton became president? Ethics Committees. What a joke.
Nearly 20 years ago it was filed with the Florida Ethics Committee that a certain individual, an incumbent mayor of a town, had run his campaign out of Town Hall, using Town equipment, materials, supplies, and money to finance his own reelection effort. Proof was provided along with the accusations. Proof and verification from Town Employees. Know what the Ethics Committee did.
NOTHING.
Want to know the real reason the Ethics Committee does nothing? Because if they did they would set a precedent. And that would cause them to treat other violaters similarly according to the violation. That is not what they want. It might affect them personally, or some of their good buddies. Can't have that!
