Housing and homeless activists gathered outside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco home demanding she reconvenes Congress to extend the soon to be expiring eviction moratorium.

On Friday, the House adjourned without passing legislation on the extension of a ban on evictions that is set to expire Saturday.

The move prompted outrage from the progressive 'squad' members.

Around 40 activists went to Pelosi's home to tape an "eviction notice" on her door, reminding her millions of Americans will be facing eviction this weekend while she sleeps in her luxury home.

"The reason that we're at her house is that she has a beautiful mansion in Pacific Heights in San Francisco, and it shows how out of touch she is with the people that are facing a situation [of eviction]," Christin Evans, one of the activists outside of Pelosi's home, told Fox News.

Evans said the coronavirus had made the already bad homelessness crisis in San Francisco worse, with people losing their jobs.
