FDR instituted martial law when he interned Japanese-American citizens after Pearl Harbor. Nobody protested because, after all, they were Japanese by origin.
Bundy was not really martial law; federal law enforcement moved to protect claims of federal control over certain lands.
It is conceptually complex because if our federal government does institute martial law then there is absolutely no way to be sure that the situation can be reversed at any time in the future. That said, we cannot tolerate the violence and lawlessness that BLM and the Dem Party stand for. If we cannot get "men with chests" into necessary local offices then the option remains civil war. I don't particularly like that thought either.
They should all go to Federal Prison. This is Domestic Terrorism, plain and simple.
