House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is facing dissent in her caucus ahead of Tuesday’s vote to confirm the passage of the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill.
With the Democrats’ slim 221-211 House advantage, Pelosi can afford no more than four defections in the vote scheduled for Tuesday.
But two members of her caucus, Reps. Marcia Fudge of Ohio and Deb Haaland of New Mexico, could be confirmed to Biden administration posts as soon as Wednesday.
That could further amplify gripes coming from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other left-leaning House comrades after some of their major initiatives were stripped out of the American Rescue Plan Act - and test Pelosi’s ability to keep her troops in line.
AOC retweeted a message from her fellow Democrat, New Jersey Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, Friday night.
“What are we doing here?” Watson Coleman complained in a tweet that bemoaned the elimination of a federal minimum-wage increase and a cut to unemployment benefits. “I’m frankly disgusted with some of my colleagues and question whether I can support this bill,” she added.

If the United States of America is to remain a Constitutional Representative Republic with a free enterprise economic system (the most successful system in world history) the size of government must be reduced. For over a hundred fifty years presidents have usurped power from the states. The second, fourth and tenth amendments are the most infringed upon amendments in our bill of rights. Although under Biden it appears the first is quickly joining them. According to the constitution itself few if any of the federal government agencies are constitutional according to the tenth amendment. If needed they should be state agencies.
The larger the government the fewer the freedoms of the citizens. Both political parties have been increasing governments size for over a hundred years however, now there is a movement by the left communists in our government (disguised as democrats) who plan on installing a socialist communist government right here in the United States of America and many of their supporters cannot even see what they are doing. Because they actually claim to be saving this constitutional republic from the conservatives who, they claim, are out to destroy it. However, nothing could be farther from the truth. It should be obvious to everyone which party wishes to fundamentally transform America because one party promised a transformation in 2009 just five days from taking the office of the presidency.
Only free people prosper. Government controlled people, under socialism, never prosper. They cannot for they are slaves to the government because the government dictates (controls) everything in their lives. Socialism has always failed and always will fail. No matter what anyone says. It has been tried dozens of times and failed every time.

We need to keep pushing our states from the grassroots to adopt a convention of states. It has really exploded since the fraudulent election. The states need to be taking the power away from the federal government and we need to elect normal hard working Consevatives that support this effort as our legislators, governors and Secretary of State. All Rhinos need to go as well. We need people that believe it's not a lifetime job, like George Washington. You perform a service for you country, then go back to your old job, business or farm. I'm a member volunteer for District 1 in Georgia. We have a meeting for our district - kinda like zoom call (slack App) and another one tomorrow night fior the state (district meets weekly, state meets monthly). The fist two articles that will be sent to washing, and they are mandate to perform, by the constitution, is Term Limits and Balenced budget admendment. I think COS Will Finally Happen and it needs to because I honestly believe that an article 5 Convention is the Only way that we can take this country back and put the power back into the hands of the people..! Even the State Of Illinois just Signed on about a week or so ago as I have herd from Mark Meckler via text and email. I think that makes 16 States on board but we must hustle another 16 in order to make up the 2/3rds of the States Needed to Call The Article 5 COS... It must happen ASAP..!
In order for a convention to be called, 34 states must call the convention and 38 must vote to ratify any amendments proposed at the convention. If there are only 16 states with resolutions calling for a convention we need 18 more, not 16... they need to get busy. My home state is in support of the Convention and has passed a resolution calling for the convention.
We all need to press our State Legislatures to sign on to the Convention.. by passing a State Resolution demanding Congress call a convention... to consider amendments to the US Constitution.
