Portland and some of the surrounding suburbs are war zones. The “woke” Democrat-filled government of the city and state have done everything they can to advance the rioting by Antifa and Black Lives Matter “activists” who are committing constant acts of wanton violence and destruction. They’ve hampered local and state law enforcement, booted federal law enforcement, and called for instant forgiveness to those committing crimes. Allegedly, they’re doing this to deescalate the situation, but it has been in a perpetual state of acceleration. Why? Because Antifa and Black Lives Matter are lying about their intentions and Democrats running the show do not care.
Apparently, the state police in Oregon have had enough. As Ryan Saavedra at The Daily Wire reported, they aren’t going to put their lives at risk when prosecutors aren’t going to do their job following arrests.
The Oregon State Police announced on Thursday that it was pulling out its roughly 100 state troopers from protecting the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse in downtown Portland after the city’s district attorney announced that he is not pursuing charges against the rioters who have been arrested.
The Oregon State Police had committed to helping local law enforcement officials deal with the violent riots for a period of two weeks, which has now expired.
“We’re in a county that’s not going to prosecute this criminal behavior,” saidspokesman Capt. Timothy R. Fox.
Fox also said: “The Oregon State Police is continually reassessing our resources and the needs of our partner agencies and at this time we are inclined to move those resources back to counties where prosecution of criminal conduct is still a priority.”

Not hardly, the President should have responded with a declaration of Martial Law... arrested the malfeasant and complicit mayors and governors... charging them with insurrection and aiding and abetting riot... shipped them to GITMO for detention and to await trial by military tribunal. If the President has problems within his own Administration he needs to identify where and who and remove them from their places of power. The President could be maximizing election optics, but I think it is more fundamental.Ya know how we have all bitched about the average Joe and Jane American taking a high school election attitude to munipcipal, state and federal elections? Well, when it is your ox being gored, the mind becomes amazingly focused on lifes priorities. You are right that the President can flex his federal muscle and neutralize local issues ASAP. But at some point, your big brother has to let you work out your fight with the bully, or be forever dependent. And that is not what we are about. The residents of Portland must own their political choices and its consequences, and that includes their office holders.

When local government allies with insurrection the local citizens have no one else to put down the insurrection and domestic violence... Stop worrying about what the MSM will say and do. Enforce the laws in a consistent and EFFECTIVE MANNER, place the political leadership behind the insurrection in prison and throw away the key. I very much agree with you here. Current events ought not to be treated as a computer game....because it has real consequences. Yet this scenario is, I suspect, being played out as a computer political game of provocation. Clearly, the rioters are like adolescent pyromaniacs with small boxes of matches. The mischief can be tolerated while small. But even a gas heater pilot light can burn down a house if neglected. I see the Federal Executive refraining from being baited into a slew of small insurrectionist brushfires, with each action he would take being used by the presstitutes as evidence to define him as a dictator. But if and when he does take action, it should be at a level of deliberate dereliction by local executives that mandates an AG criminal prosecution for insurrection. The Governors or Mayors responsibilities are not their own to jeopardize or destroy by personal choice.

The poor woman was uploading the free video two days ago, when her house power was suddenly shut off (but there was a backup file elsewhere LOL), and she along with two others were arrested for undefined charges, and carted off.
