To me a fascist is as a fascist does. Conservatives are not the Fascists in this world. The defintion of fascism is:

A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.

The Parliamentary system is different from ours... the person elected as Prime Minister has to obtain sufficient ministerial support to form a government within a specific period of time or new elections for a Prime Minister are mandated...

Let's get the facts straight. There is no direct election for prime minister in Italy. The Italian prime minister doesn't need ministerial support, either. The Italian prime minister needs the support of parliament, who can always get rid of the prime minister if a majority in parliament withdraws its support as it happend to Draghi. She will start out with a handsome majority in parliament because she formed a successful election coalition with other parties.
You are correct that it still remains to be seen whether she can keep her coalition going and form a stable government, which has always been a huge challenge in Italy since the end of WWII.
By ministerial support, I meant to infer that she needs to form a government (ministers) acceptable to Parlament... So, yes it takes both a direct vote for Prime Minister ... the people's approval... and parliament's assent to her ministers as the new government... It takes ministerial support for the Prime Minister to form a government.
When sufficient ministers resign (or express a loss of confidence in the Prime Minister) a new government must be formed... new elections for a Prime Minister who can form a government... That is the crux of a parliamentary system.
