Ken & Karen: Mark McCloskey accidentally aims gun at wife Patricia ...

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson says he is prepared to exercise his pardon powers if prosecutors bring criminal charges in the case of a St. Louis couple who brandished firearms at a group of protesters outside their home.

Parson, a Republican, told a St. Louis radio station Friday that he thinks a pardon is “exactly what would happen” if Mark and Patricia McCloskey are hit with charges in the June 28 incident captured on video and seen by millions.

He later added that based on what he knows about the case, “I don't think they're going to spend any time in jail.”

  • Pardon what!?!  They didn't commit a crime!!!!  You can not pardon a crime if none was committed!

  • They had every right to protect themselves,  on their own property!   I think we in Florida have a broader right.....

    called  "Stand Youe Ground!"

  • Of course  there SHOULD NOT be charges brought against them!!! Plus the county prosecutor needs to be removed from office.

  • The St Louis County prosecutor needs to be charged with using the law for political purposes and disbarred from the practice of law.

    • Perfect Roger. In our free US of A, citizens must have and exercise recourse against rogue government officials. They work for us ... not the other way. Rogue government officials at ALL levels need to feel the wrath of the citizens when they act dictatorially ... unconditionally!! Look what's happening across our great country where bad government officials allow (and even encourage) mob to run unchallenged. Am I pissed? Yep!!

  • The expense and trauma foisted upon these two homeowners for defending their property is an outrage... the Governor should not simply declare he will pardon them... he needs to have the prosecutor involved removed from office... disbarred for a frivolous and MALICIOUS act in violation of his oath of office and the best interests of the Public.  It is not enough to support these homeowner's rights... The governor needs to go after the individuals violating their rights with a vengeance so great that the next prosecutor thinking to abuse the rights of others will think twice.

    • I so agree with every bit of that.

    • Ronald ... thank you for your strong stands (multiple). Its beyond time that the millenial children learn that the US of A won't be run by Socialist/Communist mobs. ENOUGH!!

    • I agree they need to do something about this prosecutor! Prosecutors should not be allowed to take political decisions, they're supposed to enforce the law based on evidence (that all parties can clearly, beyond a reasonable doubt, admit as evidence). There is no justice here. If Biden wins we'll be at war because all those activists in office will come after us and we won't let them do. It's our duty to save the soul and History of our nation, we can do it by being smart politically, and by pressuring our lawmakers and local Republican offices (we're not engaged enough compared to Dems, we must respond to their attacks, we need to respond to all these TV networks lying day after day). We must win the WH and take over the House again in order to pass a law that prohibits activism and bias decisions in some categories of jobs and industries: schools/teachers, prosecutors, news producers/journalists. If we do that, there will be less of this manipulative mentality Dems and Extreme-left operatives keep exercising on us.

    • TOTALLY,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, SO write!!
