    If we have the option to send our kids to a private school then we should not have to pay any school taxes so these scum teachers  can be overpaid. I am related to a school teacher, and they seem to be always hungry for MORE MONEY....

      Why should we even have to pay school taxes when illegal aliens come here and invade our schools without pay one red cent?

    Marlene, Three sons, Lutheran School, with two continuing in Christian College. Five grandchildren, two Catholic School, with Christian University, two Public School, and one Home Schooled. All currently employed. All learned to challenge their teachers especially in topics related to history and Politics. I agree with the postings.

    The "Society" in which the Children live includes Parents, Relatives, Neighbors, Churches, Recreation and Authorities including Police and Courts. Teachers must educate Children how best to find comfort, understanding and livelihood within their Society.

    Teach them what society needs them to know - no way.  How about teach them reading, writing and rithmatic---high math, physics, science etc.  Besides, who decidesd what society needs to know.  If it is the de"mock"rats that would be how to break the law, how to lie, how to destroyt he greatest country in the history of the world and who knows what all else.  No thanks!!!

    The only thing is that how much is the schools now teaching that is actually useful to the students to use in life after graduation.
