  • Marlene, We All know that like the rest of us, you serve your Christmas Turkey in December, not February. Another sign of Alzheimer's perhaps? Ron at his age should know scrap goes into the toilet and stuffing goes into the bird! Then again what can anyone expect of living proof of the "Peter Principle."

    • The question at hand was not when Marlene or I had our Christmas Dinner. It was whether Marlene stuffs her Turkey with crap.... in both counts (Topic and Source) you missed again.

Maybe you and Marlene should consider serving Turkey and YOUR COMMENTS... without the crap.

    • Col.  Just for the record you are exactly correct about the things you say ignore anyone saying you are not.

    • Thanks for the kind words...

      • You are the Christmas Turkey, FULL OF CRAP.

BTW  5 March was the date specified on a Fox news show this evening.   Do not know why, but that's the start date cited.

I refuse to be your lackey and restate every item that has been broadly announced elsewhere.   DOYOUR OWN HOMEWORK.

Do you always serve your Christmas Turkey full of crap.. that is not our tradition. So, please key your Turkey and its crap... We don't need it.

    • I was responding to Marlene's RECENT dig in her comments on my posts... suggesting that my Christmas Turkey was stuffed with crap... Before you comment know what the 'H' you're talking about.

  • We all have the same access and means to the same information allowed to any elected official past or present. The pathways are for those with determination and patience, twisty and long, but the results are the same.

    • "We all have the same access and means to the same information allowed to any elected official past or present."  Quote Lynn

Wrong... you obviously have no idea with the 'H' you are talking about.

First, ex-presidents get security briefs regularly during the first few years of their retirement.. they have a government furnished office, staff, security, and a budget..   Ex-Presidents.have ready access to clarified materials, they can secure a Public Forum with the MSM and other institutions of power. Most long-term members of Congress and senior Cabinet officials have special access privileges and security clearances... some have secret service, staff, and receive government intel briefings for a set period after separation.

Suggesting the common man or woman has the same access and means is not just disingenuous it is remarkable ignorant. The pathways to government information are for those with the resources and knowledge necessary to access the AVAILABLE ... unclassified information.  Not all government sources permit public access and some restrict or redact large amounts of important information that an ex-president may be given... formally or informally.

The amounts, type, and volume of information open to the public are nowhere near the same of an ex-president or long-term member of Congress, or a Cabinet-level official... you are misinformed.

  • Thunder is loud and does nothing but always follows Lighting which does the damage quick and silent. It is easy for most after or during any event to sit back and criticize rather than be amid the action of doing.

    • First, thunder can break windows, stampede livestock, warn the sleeping, and start devastating avalanches...  Ever hear of the axiom 'the squeaky wheel gets greased'?  Apply that to your evaluation of critiques and ask if a constructive critique is not beneficial.  Sometimes tough language is needed to breach long-held habits or to reform problem character traits.

Next, critiques and  After-Action Reports are paramount to refining leadership skills... and for analyzing future courses of action.  When taken properly, they are meant to inform and assist future operations to avoid mistakes previously made.  Pres. Trump would be well advised to TAKE OUT THE SWAMP as priority ONE... In the first 100 days of his next term in office. He would also be advised to select and manage key personnel very closely and to discount those with a history of being affiliated with the Globalist or Socialist ideology or their organizations.  He should be prepared to strongarm the GOP/RNC  leadership from day one; insisting Congress put his reforms into LAW, statutory laws, that are not so easily erased by follow on administrations.

Many lessons can be learned from a careful and unbiased exam of the first Trump Administration... which would serve the President well in his next term... no more business as usual, associations with the power clicks in DC must end, and their hold on government broken.
