Don't expect any long-term GOP operative to do what is necessary to shut down the border... Texas is probably the most aggressive and it is inadequate... The Constitution gives Texas the right to defend against an invasion. The polarization of the military and the formerly apolitical civil institutions have been coopted and their leadership has become globalist or Marxist political activists.
