If this is a State Chartered Bank and Mike has any pull with the legislature, governor, and Banking Commission he may ask them to pull the banks charter... Most State Banks have to service their local customers by statute or the terms of their charter or lose their charter as a State Bank.
Let Mike form his own bank... or credit union... or purchase one that is looking to sell... then he owns the bank.
