In his dissent Justice Thomas argued mass mail-in voting, which was conducted in Pennsylvania for the first time ahead of the 2020 presidential election in November, combined with election rules being rewritten last minute, makes the process prone to fraud and mistrust.
"The Constitution gives to each state legislature authority to determine the 'Manner' of federal elections...Yet both before and after the 2020 election, nonlegislative officials in various States took it upon themselves to set the rules instead. As a result, we received an unusually high number of petitions and emer- gency applications contesting those changes. The petitions here present a clear example. The Pennsylvania Legislature established an unambiguous deadline for receiving mail-in ballots: 8 p.m. on election day," Thomas wrote. "Dissatisfied, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court extended that deadline by three days. The court also ordered officials to count ballots received by the new deadline even if there was no evi- dence—such as a postmark—that the ballots were mailed by election day. That decision to rewrite the rules seems to have affected too few ballots to change the outcome of any federal election. But that may not be the case in the future. These cases provide us with an ideal opportunity to address just what authority nonlegislative officials have to set elec- tion rules, and to do so well before the next election cycle. The refusal to do so is inexplicable."

The States and Local Governments were meant to be the final check on the Federal Government.. it now appears that our States have no intention or stomach for defending our Constitution and the rights of its citizens... Their reprehensible conduct is only exceeded by their kowtow to the Marxist in DC as they look for a handout. They failed to understand that the States were supposed to be the centers of our Constitutional Republic and its government. The Federal Government should be looking to the States to fund their operation not the other way around.
I blame LEADERSHIP at all levels for our problems... We have had weak-kneed, ignorant, and easily corrupted officials at all levels of government... partly due to a failed public education system and the Church's failure to lead... Thank a teacher and the Clergy for this mess... and don't accept their excuse that they only work in the public system or that Church and the government are to be separate and the two should never meet.. Sorry, but I get really upset when I think of what the Public Education System and the failure of the Church to hold its members accountable to God for their lifestyles has done to our Nation, and it is HORRIFIC. There are not enough words in the English language to properly describe their Betrayal of our children and the Nation. One was responsible for the proper education of our children and the other for the moral compass of our Culture... both failed.
The SCOTUS's has display just how corrupt and confused our leadership in DC has become... it is now up to the several States to take them to the woodshed for a session in civics... the local and state government are SUPPOSED to be supreme in our system... we are a nation made up of a union of soverign states. Each state is soverign in its own right and the Constitution is a contract between the States of the Republic and when it is broken as our has been each State has the Constitutional right to petition for the redress of its grievances or do as our forefathers once did, when England and her King violated their contract with the colonies, they may leave the Union and institute new relations with its neighbor states.
Chief Justices Roberts hate President Trump so much he rather have the nation be destroyed rather than safe our country the next Republican President should remove him because it is evident that his ruling have been personal or political.

I so relate to your frustration Martha. God in my view equipped us with the tools to solve our problems....and heaven knows we have some big ones. Although I believe in God and prayer I also think it's easy to fall into the trap of believing we need do nothing but wait for God to act or Jesus to return. At this point that is a very dangerous mind set for America and Americans. I also believe that communication is seriously damaged by a "business as usual" response to what is happening to our country. Nothing is "usual." We are livng in a country that been taken over and WE are now labelled as anything but Americans. Most commmonly Domestic Terrorists, White nationalists, White Supremiscists, and more. Those titles are desugbed ti target us. We're headed for treatment simiolar to what we would expect to see in China or even Germany in ths 30s and 40s. I keep hoping there is somekind of low profile but powerful resistence to the stealing away of our country and the huge loss it engenders. We are in an extremely dangerous position and no one seems to care enough to act.

As I predicted, the case is now Moot... the case went unheard by any court on its merits.. being rejected for the arbitrary and administrative finding... for lack of standing. The Judicial system refuses to hear the case on its merits. This case needed to be heard on its merits before the sitting of a new President. It is basically too LATE to rectify the fraud... it became MOOT when Congress certified the Electoral Vote under the watchful eye of VP Pence. The 6 Justices that voted not to hear the evidence all need to be IMPEACHED for BAD Conduct... This case may not remove a President once seated but it still needed to be heard on the merits, to establish that Local Courts have no authority to UNILATERALLY change election laws none...
Our legal system no longer serves the interest of the People or Justice... Justices Gorsich, Thomas, and Alito managed to get it right. What is even more disappointing is that all but one of Press. Trump's appointments ruled to ignore massive election fraud and the Court's duty to stop the certification of fraudulent Electors. The Court is now HARD LEFTIST/Marxist in its ideology.
Now that the Courts are clearly Marxist the only venue left to obtain justice in this matter and others... is thru an Article 5 Convention, where the Courts have no power of judicial Review' and Congress has now power to define the terms of governing. Term limits Amendment can deal with activist courts and out-of-control Congress, by limiting their tenure on the bench and in Office. Term limit all justicial appointments to one 6 yr. term at each level of the Bench ... district, appellate, and SCOTUS. Term limit Congress and all other appointments to ONE TERM... 6yrs with 1/3rd standing for election and appointment every 2yrs. Include a recall of all current sitting elected members of the government and all appointees... bar them all from ever holding office again and provide a recall method for every state's legislature to recall any elected federal representative of their state with a 2/3rds vote of the legislature. Make the Federal Government the clear servant of the States and the People
We must also remove the power for the Courts to make law... end the doctrine of 'stari decisi' by limiting a court's findings, and orders to the case before it ONLY. No more blanket jurisdiction, applying the law to all other similar cases. Every case must be decided on its own merit. We must affirm Juries as the arbiters of the facts and the LAW. Judges have proven to be arbitrary and too easily corrupted to be trusted with justice any longer. Our forefathers gave the power to arbitrate justice to Juries, not judges... Judges are there to assist the Jury and the officers of the court to render justice in all cases... not the dictates of tyrannical judges.
Last I heard I think is that only 17 states have signed onto Article 5 Convention. We need 2/3 of the states to to pass correct? As our country keeps going down in flames I hope more states sign on to reach that goal.
