Maybe I’m old fashioned, but perhaps one should actually win an election before claiming they have a mandate to enact a bunch of unpopular policies that only the most radical of their party want? But hey, it’s 2020, so I guess anything goes.
Joe Biden took the stage last night, pre-empting the continued counting of ballots and court challenges to voting irregularities to basically do a victory a lap. While him simply speaking was catnip for the liberal cable networks, Biden’s claiming of a “mandate” stood out as a more consequential aspect of his speech.

There’s only one problem with this. Well, two when you consider he hasn’t even been elected yet. But even following his assumption that he will be president, the idea that he has a mandate to do anything but breathe for the next two years until the mid-term results come in is laughable. Right now, we are looking at some of the closest swing state margins in history possibly deciding this race. Across the country, we see the same divides we’ve been seeing for years. There was no coming together to unite behind Joe Biden as a candidate. Quite the opposite in fact, with him needing 4am dump after 4am dump of questionable votes just to take tiny leads in key states. That kind of thing breeds distrust in our process. It doesn’t produce “mandates.”
This is the reality the Democrats are going to be slapped by very quickly as we move forward. The GOP are extremely likely to hold the Senate after the two run-offs (assuming the recount doesn’t change things) conclude. Mitch McConnell, if he’s faced with a Biden presidency, is going to be out for blood. I know some people don’t trust that, but when push comes to shove, McConnell always plays hard ball. The 2022 map heavily favors Republicans in the Senate, and the Grim Reaper is going to do everything he can to set up the GOP for success, even if McConnell himself isn’t the conservative standard bearer we all want.

The US oversees elections in other countries, it's sad to say, that we have untrustworthy elections in this country. People, do you really think that this is new? The Democrats have been immoral and corrupt for a very long time. I am sure that in liberal cities they have been stealing elections for years.
Rosemary, I agree with you and we are blessed to have Trump in the White House, who gives us and the world the truth about the state of our country: nothing in the US can be trusted, not the FBI, CIA, DOJ, AG, the courts, elections, etc. The US is basically a failed state and a failure, definitely not a super power or the leader of the free world. If it wasn't for Trump who is honest and straight talking, we'd never know any of that.

First of all this election has not been decided and second, it is the absolute most rigged election in the history of man. The Democrat Crime family actually trucked loads in trucks of 137,000 biden ballots into Detroit Counting Center, used computer patch in Dominion Software in Antrim county to give Biden at least 6000 votes that were Trump Votes. Same software is in use in 60 other counties and voting districts which opens the obvious questionthat is it the same elswhere? Wisconsin went to Biden by 20,588 votes after 100,00 or so fake ballots were added for Biden in Milwaukee area. It is up for manual recount which former Governor Scott Walker states will ferret out fraudulent votes. Georgia has Biden ahead by less than 10,000 votes after the counting was stopprd by "broken water pipe" but re-started one hour later after Republican poll watchers and officials were told to leave. Nevada has thousands and thousands of fraudulent votes recorded, lawsuite filed. This race is far from over and PRESIDENT TRUMP did win it.
Trump did win. I understand that the Trump campaign is starting to file numerous lawsuits supported by overwhelming evidence. Sit back and enjoy the show! The demonrats will soon be licking their wounds again.

Biden can't even put two sentences together let alone pronounce any words with more than two syllable although he makes on syllable words into multiple syllable words with his stutter. He is again a disgrace to the White House.
Trump's rallys had THOUSANDS of enthusiastic attendees, while Bidens 'rallys' ( I hate to call them that) hardly drew crowds in the dozens! Yet, he wants the world to belive that HE won in a landslide? Only in his dreams! More like, only by trucking in thousands of unsigned, illegal ballots! He, and the Democrat Party, thinks the majority of Americans are butthead stupid!
