The "silent majority" was mentioned by President Nixon in 1969, who labeled middle Americans who weren't protesting the Vietnam war or joining the counter culture — two activities being over-reported by the media of the day. The silent majority didn't speak up much but respected traditional American values with a good-natured approach to political issues.
They were silent, but they voted. In 1972, Nixon was re-elected with one of the largest landslides in U.S. history — 520 electoral votes to only 17 for McGovern.
Today, most Americans focus on work and family and trust that our elected officials will work for us, and if they don't, the folks who pay attention to such stuff will vote them out.
But after five years of hysteria over Donald Trump, the media have hyped so many radical liberal causes to the point where many conservative Americans feel they are an endangered minority. If we speak up, we feel we will be ridiculed or ostracized by our friends and co-workers or even lose our jobs. People with conservative bumper stickers have had their cars vandalized, and those wearing patriotic clothing have been harassed and physically assaulted.
There are so many issues that face us that we can easily be overwhelmed and simply give up on political discourse, which furthers the idea that liberals rule the day.
But the silent majority in the United States is waking up — not in a uniform manner, but on an issue-by-issue basis. They know what their eyes are seeing on the nightly news, and they aren't fooled one bit by blatant liberal spin.

Angry? I will show you angry. I want Donald Trump, after he is re-installed, to immediately put into operation all that he should be planning now. He should be making a list of ALL those situations that should have gone to court, found their sentencing, and sent the accused to jail. In some situations it was a single person, sometimes a group of people. Trump should discover the names of excellent lawyers who know how to keep their mouths shut. Communications with them should be done on a land-line or personal contact. These people should be asked, as a future US attorney, if they would willing to gain evidence on an individual or group and take them to court, one lawyer per incident going back to, at least Benghazi, the IRS beatings that some of us endured, all the way up to today's incidents. How many lawyers/firms would this take? As many as required! 120? If that is what would be required. He then should select an US AG that would be loyal to him and who would work avidly with these attorneys. Then, on the day following the inauguration, those "120" lawyers would be hired and begin their tasks. Anyone in the Justice Dept., including its subdivisions, hired by W. Clinton, Obama, and Biden, and perhaps even W. Bush should be fired immediately. Anyone that remains and is not overtly working with these lawyers or the US AG, should be fired immediately. These cases should be brought to court within 6 months, or with all due diligence. Angry? I am ready to rush DC immediately. I am not alone. This is MY country. I am a conservative Patriot. I am not silent! I will not be silenced! I am NOT alone. 180 million may very well join me as this nlot the government we are supposed to have.
When Trump became our President, he never realized how deep the swamp was. Being a businessman he had no idea how evil the Democrats were and yes, sometimes he listened to the wrong people. But I refuse to count him out, because he is all we have and once we have the majority in the Senate and the House (goodbye Pelosi) he will be able to get a lot more done.

I am one of those in the angry majority group, sick and tired of all this liberal/Marxist garbage. I despise those who allow BLM and Antifa to run loose and keep destroying everything that is dear to me. I have marched against Obama when he was in the White House and I am ready to do it again against this illegitimate president and the ho. We need to take our country back, if by force then let it be. At the age of 80 I have nothing left to lose.
