Don't use your credit card; go to the ATM, withdraw "cash" and pay for a new gun that way; I doubt they can "trace" a cash transaction. Unless, of course, some of the snoops start checking gun shops and demand to see their camera footage - -guess that would be the next step.

When I purchased my friend, Smitty Wes, a few years ago, I did it with a credit card, but the shop processed the item as "general mdse." with a model #. Of course, I had to wait 3, or 4 days for the background check to be completed - -that's where the papertrail enters the picture. That said, I have moved from that state. Yea, I know, they can "still find me" if they choose to look.
