Dr. Deborah Birx is one of the lead experts advising President Donald Trump in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
As the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator, Birx has faced both praise and scrutiny for her comments regarding the COVID-19.
There have been over 4 million confirmed cases in the United States and more than 150-thousand people have died from the virus.
While some states have seen a drop in cases, others including Florida, Texas and Arizona have seen a massive increase in recent weeks.
Dr. Birx spoke to Sinclair Broadcast Group's Chief Political Correspondent Scott Thuman on her concern with the recent increases.
