A handful of congressional Democrats are investigating whether former President Donald Trump can be prevented from holding elected office again through the application of an obscure portion of the 14th Amendment.
Section 3 of the amendment, enacted in 1868 and best known for enshrining the Equal Protection Clause, prevents any government official who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the US from holding office again.
According to The Hill, approximately a dozen Democratic lawmakers have publicly or privately spoken about applying Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to Trump, whom they accuse of inciting the Jan. 6 riot that disrupted the congressional certification of the 2020 election results.
“If anything the idea has waxed and waned,” liberal Harvard Law School professor emeritus Laurence Tribe told the outlet.

It seems to me everything the Dems do backfires! If they are successful in some how preventing Trump from being elected again, then the same thing can be done against them!
Maybe Trump is the test case, but what if the Repubs find a way to prevent Dems for holding affice again?

In my mind, seeing how easily the Left distorts, lies,I dare say even has killed and brutalized for themselves and their agenda I put them under the same classification as drug cabals and others from the bottom of the barrel of humanity. I HATE feeling this way about my own gov. but then this ISN'T my gov. It's an anti-American globalist cabal that is taking it over. VERY, VERY SAD!

They remind me a lot of "Island Cockroaches." Huge and capable of flight, and when cornered will stand on their hind legs, make noise and look fierce, but in reality, actually harmless! They cannot bite, sting, or puncture with any part of their bodies. The absolute worst they can do is fly directly into One's mouth! Disgusting yes! Threatening, no.
