It is the Black Race that owns slaves today... Africa is the only continent upon which Slavery is still practiced. The Constitution of the USA bans Slavery ... read the 13th Amendment. In addition, the Constitution has been amended several times to make it more inclusive and representative... see the 19th Amendment giving women the vote. The 14th and 15th provided equal protection for all citizens under the law... with the 15th extending voting rights based on race. Other amendments securing equal access to the vote and lowering the age to vote are found in the 23rd, 24th, and 26th Amendments. The US Constitution is amendable making it flexible and responsive to the People's needs.. no other instrument of its TIME... has such foresight and capacity for change.
