On Sunday, Chicago’s first openly gay mayor, Lori Lightfoot, mounted a raid on a black South Side church for holding services in defiance of her coronavirus lockdown orders.
Lightfoot reportedly sent three marked squad cars and two unmarked cars full of officers to the Chicago Cornerstone Baptist Church in the South Side’s Woodlawn neighborhood. Woodlawn is just south of Hyde Park, the area in which the Obamas lived for a short time before Barack became president.
The pastor of the mostly black congregation, Courtney Lewis, reportedly shut and locked the doors and refused to allow the officers to gain entry to the building, Todd Starnes reported.
Pastor Lewis told Starnes that he felt like he was confronting “the Soviet-style KGB” as the officers pounded on his doors and demanded entry to shut the church down.
“Thankfully, our doors were locked as a normal safety precaution we take each service to protect our members from the escalating gun violence in Chicago,” Lewis said.
A sentry that is usually posted outside the sanctuary to monitor the street during service also reported seeing occupants of a dark car with tinted windows filming the incident through one opened window.
“All we are seeking is the same consideration and trust that is being tendered toward the liquor stores, abortion clinics, and Walmart,” Lewis told Starnes.

The Left is using the Pandemic to steal our liberty... baiting the public with fear and the lies of our failed Public Health System. The Mayors and Governors of nearly every major State and City are issuing edicts, contrary to the U.S. Constitution, and expect the people to obey. They are treating the public like petulant children rather than informed adults. These agents of government tyranny may think they can fool the people all of the time, but some of the people will always stand ready to bear testimony to the facts and the truth. The public outcries of fowl, bear witness to the oppression in our streets, businesses, and homes. The left's attempt to shackle the middle-class to their wagon as the feudal property of the State... no longer works. The People are refusing to become mere surfs in the New World Order.
The Left has mistaken the silent suffering of the People as a sign of weakness... rather than, forbearance and patience. The People had hoped for a peaceful resolution to their problems (political and social) However, the people's forbearance is now being replaced by calls for immediate reforms and accountability. People, no longer have confidence in their government or its political leaders... They want accountability and they want it now. The result in the government's inability to give the People what they want... has manifested itself as a seed change in how the people view government and the means to reform it. The People, increasingly view government as an ENEMY of LIBERTY and the Constitution. The Left with their oppressive attempts to dictate every facet of the People's lives is driving a great wedge between the government and the people.
The drums of war now beat a dissonant call to arms... The night air reverberates with an undercurrent of strife in all our major cities. Our homes are under siege, by a recalcitrant and oppressive government. The Nation is confused and many fear, not only their health but for their liberty. The People, question their future and the ability to enjoy the standard of living and security they have grown to expect. Our Nation is about to spew out the political class and their twisted metaphor... People are no longer willing to patiently wait for the deceit and evil to be removed or reformed.
Raids on Church's need to be met at the door with civil resistance... and a call to law enforcement to refuse to act on such unconstitutional orders. This Mayor should be charged with denying the civil rights of those being denied their right to exercise their religion... as a criminal offense. This Mayor should be removed from office by recall or legislative action... if not remove those responsible for allowing her to retain her office.
It may be time to consider Thomas Jefferson's call to refresh the Tree of Liberty... with the blood of tyrants and partiots.

I agree well said. But one thing for now follow Trump and win this next election with as many God fearing souls as possable. This pandemic has been useful in that it shined the light of day on evil. It exposed the communist governors and other things. It made it crystal clear who is good and who is evil you can actually listen to them tell you what they have planned.
