Candidates opposed to teaching 'critical race theory' in the classroom have swept a local school board election in Texas, following a bitterly contested campaign that saw passions rise on both sides.

In Saturday's election in Southlake, candidates opposed to the new curriculum won the two open seats on the Carroll Independent School District board overwhelmingly, with nearly 70 percent of the vote.

The election followed a harsh dispute over plans the district introduced last summer to require diversity and inclusion training after a video went viral showing some of its high school students laughing as they shouted the N-word.

Parents packed school board meetings to oppose the plan, arguing it would create 'diversity police' and discriminate against white children. Some even pulled their kids out of the district, and one mother sued, pausing the plan's implementation.

  • school boards may seem like small potatos as elections go but if you want to affect things then it's important to vote

  • How does her Critical Race Hypothesis work out when examining the Black cultures in Africa... poverty, civil unrest, genecide, sex and slave trade, corruption, drug abuse all the evils in America are multiplied many times over in Africa... does that mean Africa has a Critical Race problem... I think so, and the race that has reached critical mass and is exploding is not White.

Maybe she needs to engage Africa with a more focused and scientific analysis of critical race problems ... with the focus on identifying those social and cultural characteristics that lead to such horrific outcomes... it sure is not the European, Judeo/Christian culture or its ethics that are undergoing CRITICAL mass and exploding in violence and crime.

  • The solution is very simple... give Parents VOUCHERS for the full amount of government monies now going to school districts and let the Parents decide where to send their children to school and what type of education they believe to be best suited for their children.  Give parents the power to vote for or against public schools with their feet.

  • Texas is not representative of the electoral makeup found in a majority of the States... getting 70% to vote conservative in Texas is not surprising at all... it is in fact distressing as just a few decades ago that number would be more like 85% of Texas.  Texas also rejected the Dominion voting system and has had a very strong anti-election fraud posture for several decades... with a host of lawsuits filed by counties and the State to clean up the registration rolls and other voting irregularities.  Texas is a leader in electoral reform... we can expect such results in their elections while other states like California, New York, and most of the NE, West Coast, and hardcore Union states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, Etc. remain solidly blue and progressive.

  • Good for these voters!  Critical Race Theory is nothing by a lie perpetrated by a supposed PhD that doesn't have a brain in her head.  Send her back to Africa and do not let her back in.

    • As science...' Critical Race THEORY' is a mere HYPOTHESIS, not a theory... it doesn't have the scientific grounding to qualify as a Theory... and we need to stop assigning it as a theory.  It is a HYPOTHESIS an educated guess at best. Please refrain from calling it a theory... address it as a Hypothesis.

  • When will the voters realize it is not how they vote or what they want .... political power is being seized through fraudulent elections.  The 2020 Election is only the most recent fraudulent election... men like former Senator Al Franken being only the tip of the proverbial Iceberg of fraudulently elected Federal Representatives... Our current Congress is not a reflection of American values because the individuals holding office in the Congress were not elected by the informed, freewill of American Citizens. For the most part members of Congress are the product of DECADES of CORRUPTION and FRAUDULENT elections.

Ever wonder how these miscreants of humanity were elected... wonder no more, it was not by popular vote.  The USA has been using the Stalinist model for elections since the early '60s:

Elections will not deliver liberty and a return to Constitutional Government... other Constitutional and peaceful means must be pursued with great vigor and commitment.... by the States to rescue our Republic from an overreaching Federal Government.

  • Good for these parents
