Tony Blair has branded US President Joe Biden's 'imbecilic' decision to withdraw American troops from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, calling the scuttle 'tragic, dangerous and unnecessary' and claiming the move had 'every Jihadist group round the world cheering'.
Mr Blair, who was in Downing Street when London sent British troops into the Middle Eastern country 20 years ago following the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York and Washington - said Britain has a 'moral obligation' to stay until 'all those who need to be are evacuated'.
In a 2,700 article on the threat of 'radical Islam', the former British prime minister said the exit was not in the West or Afghanistan's interest as he lamented the likely reversal of gains made during the occupation, with the Taliban reasserting itself across most of the country in recent days.
Mr Blair issued a stark warning to Boris Johnson that the manner of the US' handling of the exit indicated the UK could be relegated from the top division of international powers, with reports Britain was largely kept in the dark about when American armed forces would leave.
Relations between Britain and US are strained, with Defence Secretary Ben Wallace warning 'no nation will be able to get everyone out' of Afghanistan as Mr Biden's August 31 date makes the mission even more time-pressured, in what is likely to be seen as a plea to Washington.

I am wary of any of Military Rank who consistently strain against the boundaries containing their Powers from being "Unleashed" against the United States Citizenry and "Their Constitution with its Bill of Rights!" History has never displayed an outcome of any good when such action is undertaken no matter how well intended the purpose the deed! At anytime a "Conflict between the Elected Governing Governing Body and the Citizens", the 2nd Amendment allows the Citizens to Protect themselves from the Governments. In this " Situation "The Nation's Military is Bound By Oath to Uphold Our Constitution and therefore must side with the Citizenry." In a " Military Rule" any "Armed Conflict" the Citizens would most assuredly become the subservient due to the "Superiority of Weapons." Henceforth all Military Leaders would most assuredly become "War Mongers/Warlords."

Military Officers are not the only peoples that "Swear an Oath to Uphold the Constitution." At no time or place is there justification for placing "Our Military" as the "Head of Our Nation." Rule by Arms is Cry of every Warlord throughout History. Even Our Military is but a Servant to the Sovereign Citizens.

Even under martial law, the military commander is subject to a civilian chain of command ... with the President being the senior member in the Chain of Command. Our military is subject to civilian administration and command (leadership) unlike some nations, the US military leadership is not permitted to hold key positions in government... they can't hold another government office and remain on active duty.
The Constitutional prohibition on holding two government offices at the same time... guarantees the separation of military leadership from civil government... it keeps the President and Congress from appointing Generals as heads of Administrative Departments such as DHS, CIA, and even the DOD. Austin had to retire before being sworn in as Secretary of Defense. Petraeus had to retire before being confirmed and sworn in as Director of the CIA.
It is surprising how many educated individuals are unaware of the intricate workings of our COnstditution and why they were created by our founding fathers...
The whole liberal side of our Government and their voting public are fools and because of it, they have caused the greatest military blunder in our history. Because of this, the Americans and people that supported us in all territories controlled by the Taliban WILL and ARE being slaughtered and the confidence level in our country has been utterly destroyed! REMEMBER, we left ALL our computers and records for the Taliban to digest. REMEMBER, Obama, Soros and Clinton are standing right behind Biden while these decisions are being made.
Trump was a REAL President that loved and protected our country! He said two years ago that he was going to get out of Afghanistan (which was Obama's war that we shouldn't have been in in the first place), on HIS time line. He would have a peace agreement with the Taliban that HE could control, not before. Until then, HE was leaving 2,500 troops there to protect our people and our military bases. HE was the president that promised to give payback 100 fold if they harmed ANY American citizen, and they didn't, because he told them, “I know where your villages are”! HE was the president that promised to get our citizens out first if everything goes south. This is where “hate Trump” has gotten us! I hope the Biden voters finally see what they have done to our country because it has cost us everything!
BTW, a plane leaving Kabul was loaded with 1200 passengers headed for the U.S. 236 were American Citizens. The remainder was all fighting age young men. Do you see a problem with that? What will be the fate of these 236 American citizens on that plane?

Marlene, you said: "SO, THIS IS ALL ON OUR OFFICERS, PENTAGON, AND POLITICAL WHORES..." No, the US military officer's corps is not responsible for the actions of their civilian leadership. The US Military did not permit the ELection Fraud and is not defending the Fraud. The bulk of the officer corps is doing their best to remain Constitutionally non-partisan and apolitical.
Our senior officers are not going to make a bad matter worse by orchestrating a general mutiny... they are not responsible for this mess. America's political leadership, in both parties, is responsible for the mess America finds itself in. Most of the Officer Corps will work to maintain Constitutional order within the limits of the law and their oaths of office, others may not and it is those officers which need to be dealt with those loyal to the Constitution.
MUTINY is not going to happen... especially since both political parties continue to defend the legitimacy of the Elections and Pres. Biden.

Thank you for your service! Yes, every member of the military, every member of every police agency in the United States, every official in the government does take an oath to "Protect and Defend" the Constitution. I understand the position you held required you to obey orders you receive from the President! But with all due respect I must ask when do illegal orders from anyone supercede the oath we/you have taken?
