BLM/ANTIFA protestors closed several city blocks in downtown Minneapolis on Monday, establishing a presence as trial proceedings for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin began.
More than $1 million has been spent to erect fencing and security barriers on the part of the city of Minneapolis, which expects a new wave of left-wing rioting and destruction in the event that Chauvin is acquitted of killing George Floyd.
The protest occurred as legal authorities began jury selection in the trial of Chauvin, with potential jurors likely confronted with the protestors as they arrived at the Hennepin County Government Center. Jury selection was ultimately postponed for a day, with a judge waiting for the state court of appeals to determine if Chauvin should face charges of third-degree murder as opposed to second.
It’s expected that Chauvin’s legal defense team will point to evidence suggesting that Floyd died as the result of a fentanyl overdose, as opposed to Chauvin’s chokehold on the previously convicted violent felon. Chauvin’s lawyer will also cite training materials used by the Minneapolis Police Department that instructed officers to use knee chokeholds similar to that used by Chauvin.

This is such CRAP... the autopsy found no injuries, not even bruising around the neck and shoulders... there were no indications of excessive force used by the police. The Autopsy did find 4 times the lethal dose of Fentynal and Meth in Floyd's system. We also know that Floyd had a history of drug abuse and a BAD HEART... the official cause of death was heart failure associated with drug abuse.
Why in God's name is this police officer even on trial, at all... The cowards in the prosecutor's office, City Council, and Mayor all need firing... Call out the NG and the minute the protesters intimidate the first juror arrest those involved and disperse the crowd.. seal the court... or move the trial into the HINTER LANDS ... to some court in the middle of Minnesota where no one lives. This is such a setup... by Marxists.. who are looking to burn down the court and to railroad a police officer doing his duty. Let us also remember Floyd resisting a legitimate arrest and was high on meth, fentanyl, and TCH ...

Can Chauvin even get a fair trial considering the jury will be under the pressure of riot expectations.
If he is convicted will it be because he is guilty or the Jury was afraid of what would happen if he were found not guilty??????
The official autopsy found no bruises or injury that would suggest choking ... the knee hold was an approved police hold for use by the Officer... the autopsy revealed 4 times the lethal dose of Fentynal and Meth with traces of TCH in his blood... the man had a history of serious heart problems and Floyd was acting disoriented and irrational before the police arrived... they were called out because of his conduct and apparent public intoxication. He resisted arrest and was subdued with a then-approved police hold... I see no reason to charge this officer with anything.
His defense council should ask the judge to dismiss the case for an unsupported indictment and lack of criminal conduct... if the Judge were to act appropriately he would privately dismiss the case and the Officer Charged should be moved out of the area quickly and privately. If the case must go to trial it should be scheduled in the HINTER LANDS of Minnesota ... in some small town without a hotel or motel in the area. The case should be dismissed for lack of credible evidence of a crime... or a change of venue is in order.

The "suggestion" that Floyd died of a drug OD is not "suggestion." It was a complete, scientific analysis., and signed off by a competant and trained coroner.
