Lynn, Chicago does not have a two party system. There is no longer a Republican Party of Chicago, and the Cook County Republican Party is on its last legs. Chicago is a one party town, much like a dictatorship. It doesn't allow any criticism of its policies, nor does it have to account to voters as they all are Democrats. The city is losing more residents than it is gaining, and will turn into neighboring Gary, Indiana vermayor's.
In case you don't know it, Gary is worse than Detroit, and both owe their demise on black Democratic mayors. Just the very same thing Chicago now has. Crime is more votes to Democrats. That is why crime has moved to the best areas of the city. It means more votes for Lightfoot.

EVERY ONE of the Blue States, consistantly DENIED the help..., ... ( youcan GOOGLE THAT), ... , except the State of Wisconsin, . More Importantly the states, essentially "Cuased their repective riotous..etc.. problems bydefunding the police, and restraining the police from enforcing the existing laws.... When the First, rock, molitof-Cocktail, bullet, was discharged in public, when the First window was smashed, and the First attempts to rob and or destroy the bussineses, and the POLICE were supported by the cities, counties, and States, to ENFORCE THE LAW, that would have been the primary State Controlled, VALID DEFENSE/OFFENSE, and CONTROL TO STOP THE CRIMINAL ACTS. ...PERIOD.
The City of Chicago no longer has a Republican Party. They never challenge the Democrat choice for mayor. They don't have a single Republican alderman, nor any other position within the city, ever since Harold Washington became the first black mayor.

The people of Chicago need to demand that the Mayor step down immediately and appoint a conservative republican to clean house!!!!
