Indiana may have called for Constitutional Convention- this is a fool's errand. If a Convention is convened, the TEA Party HAS to be a sizable force with a sizable Republican element, that can form a majority. Then, you can modify thye Constitution to your party's goals. Otherwise, if the Democrats control the Constitutional Convention, you may end up with a Soviet Constitution.

I love this guy.  Unfortunately, many of the governors and mayors are all on the take-bought and paid for.

I love it, that is why the Supreme Court ruled in 1894 that the income tax was unConstitutional.

When i was young i found out quickly, the tax system was flawed! I bought a Guitar and had it for a couple of week's and decided I wanted to trade it! I went back to the music store and asked the owner if I could trade it straight across for another? He said OK but you will have to pay the taxes on it! So I did. A few days went bye and I missed the the one I originally had! So I went back to the store and asked if I could trade it back for the original, and he said yes! But you will have to pay the taxes on it! So I did. Then I realized this could have gone on all day long? Think about it.

Bill you have done your homework and I have been saying it for years. The fed does in fact live off our tax dollars and the representatives are sitting back and getting fat on our money. I'm in it all the way, like you said, all it takes is one state before the rest will follow,if their smart.

C'mon people, for God's sake when are you going to get fed up with this sh$$. Harry Reid clown tells the media to "push the people's will".... What's that, Harry, taxing the sucker taxpayers more and squandering our money at every turn.  What's that, Harry, put more and more people on welfare so they can just sit on the sofa and you can raise our taxes year after year. Stealing the working man's money to give it away to the thousands of moochers and takers society you and Obama are creating.

Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy: ‘The Real Second Amendment Isn’t Absolute

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) tweeted Saturday there is a “real” Second Amendment and an “imaginary” one and he believes the real one is “not absolute.”

Murphy, “I support the real 2nd Amendment, not the imaginary 2nd Amendment. And the real 2nd Amendment isn’t absolute.”

The statement was a precursor to his call for banning “assault rifles” in the wake of the Santa Fe High School shooting, even though “assault rifles” were not used in the attack.

Murphy said the “real 2nd Amendment…allows Congress to wake up to reality and ban these assault rifles that are designed for one purpose only – to kill as many people as fast as possible.”

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) said the Santa Fe High School attackers used a .38 revolver and a shotgun to carry out his heinous acts. Therefore, a ban on “assault rifles” would have done nothing to prevent the attack from occurring or the tragic loss of life from taking place.

It should be noted that Saturday was not the first time Sen. Murphy called the essence of the Second Amendment into question. On August 6, 2013, Breitbart News reported that Murphy told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow that “The Second Amendment is not an absolute right, not a God-given right. It has always had conditions upon it like the First Amendment has.”

Murphy did not grapple with the words, “Shall not be infringed.”
