Weekly Address: Congress Must Compromise to Stop the Impact of the Sequester

In his weekly address, President Obama tells the American people that a series of harmful budget cuts—called the sequester—have taken effect because Congress failed to act. Because Republicans in Congress refused to compromise to close tax loopholes for the wealthiest Americans, hundreds of thousands of Americans will lose their jobs or see their paycheck reduced, and middle class families will be hurt. Congress must join the President now to replace these cuts with a balanced approach that reduces our deficit while also making smart investments in areas that help our economy grow.

We The People have a fraud and usurper sitting in the White House going by the name of barack hussin obama using a stolen social security number , forged birth certificate and forged selective service registration card to prove he is a legal sitting US President .

We The People demand the US Congress honor their oath to the US Constitution and remove this fraud and usurper barack hussein obama from office under Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5 of the US Constitution .

Let me get this straight.  Our Great President wants us to turn over all of our money we make and his goal is 100% taxes.  Then we can go downtown and get food stamps, and free benefits and live off of the government.  Heck, we don't need our jobs anymore.  Let all of us listen to this great man and let us all quit our jobs.  Don't support the economy.  Don't support anything.  just sit on your you know what and live off of Uncle Sam.  Isn't that what the men and women who voted for this great man did.  We need to get on board.   Golly, what a great man.  Repeat after me: I am a single individual with no rights and do not have an identity.  I will listen to the Great god Obama.  Obama is my savior.   I am a drone.  Here, Please take a sip of the Kool Aid.

So the president agrees to allow budget cuts (i.e. sequester) as a "deal" to allow increase in taxes(fical cliff) and now budget cuts are BAD. This guy is amazing !!

We are in a civil war now. We're as split a I have ever seen this country and I've been around for a while.

The language has changed to to identify what I consider patriots as terrorists.

Everything that was moral is not and everything that was immoral or amoral is now being presented and forced as moral.

We have no representation for for traditional America or the Constitution as we have known them.

We no longer have a government for and by the people. Instead we are being dictated to.

Our voting process has become contaminated beyond recognition.

Rule of law doesn't exist. And what has replaced it is selectively applied.

The regime is sending arms to our enemies.

Our natural resourced are off limits to us and dependency is fed.

Our currency is loosing its value by design.

We are being stripped of our sovereignty.

Parental rights are being usurped as certainly as our government structure has.

And these are things I can think of before my first cup of coffee. I should probably quit while I am ahead.

One of the worse observations I've made is that both our population and our government are infiltrated by what were once considered threatening entities.  We may be in the minority here folks.

I think I'll quit and have that cup of coffee.

Everything that the White House Thugs, it's Crony Departments, and that George Soros Lacky obama does and says that is 'Allowed' (which includes fake leaks) to come out publicly, is nothing more than a Distraction, Diversion, or otherwise known as a 'Smoke Screen' to hide their 'End Game', which is the subversion of America and the total destruction of our constitutional rights. People need to quit paying attention to the little petty things and start looking at the Big Picture! Dee's posting on "Taming the Monster" by Wild Bill is the perfect idea for people to get behind and start a grass roots movement in their individual States. Let's get the momentum going to take back our rights from the Monster and starve it to death one state at a time!

Reporter Kicked Out Of Michelle Obama
Conference For Violating ‘Black Girl Code’

The Black Entertainment Television channel recently hosted a conference in south Florida for black women known as “Leading Women Defined,” which featured a casual conversation between former first lady Michelle Obama and former senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett.

But according to the New York Post’s Page Six, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who was in attendance was booted from the remainder of the conference after she wrote an article about some of the comments Obama had made during the discussion.

Robin Givhan, a fashion critic and staff writer for The Washington Post, documented the highlights of the friendly chat between Obama and Jarrett.

Some of the highlights of the conversation included the former first lady’s thoughts on President Donald Trump’s inauguration as the Obamas prepared to leave the White House, the role she played during the 2008 election, her difficulty settling in as “the spouse” to the president, how she described her White House garden as a “subversive act” to garner trust with the public and her upcoming memoir. Of course Givhan also wrote about what Obama was wearing … after all, she is a fashion critic.

But following the publication of the article, according to Page Six, BET demanded Givhan leave the conference early amid claims that she had violated a “sacred space” by publishing the content of the conversation.

They also canceled a panel discussion that Givhan initially had been asked to moderate.

However, Page Six noted that BET’s claim that Obama’s discussion was “private” and not intended to be shared with anyone else outside the small gathering in attendance didn’t hold up to scrutiny given the fact that BET itself posted clips from the discussion on its site.

Furthermore, Jarrett also posted those clips on social media and told everyone to “tune in” to the network so they could hear what Obama had to say.

Shortly thereafter, the dispute descended into a sharp back-and-forth on social media between Givhan and others who were irked at what she had done, as can be seen on Givhan’s Twitter feed.

Several of her critics asserted that the conversation had been “off-the-record” — an assertion Givhan flatly denied — and one user claimed the reporter had “violated a sacred trust” between black women.

Another said what she had done was a “complete violation of journalistic ethics and Black girl code, all at once,” while still another asserted through a hashtag that Givhan was “#notoneofus,” as if she were being banished from the exclusive realm of accepted professional black women.

For their part, a BET representative told Page Six that Givhan had been “invited as a guest (not working press) to moderate a fashion panel,” and noted that her travel and lodging expenses had been paid for by the network.

“She was made aware that it was an intimate conversation in a sacred space of sisterhood and fellowship,” the rep added.

Neither Givhan nor representatives for Obama responded to requests for comment on the report from Page Six.

If the WaPo reporter really was instructed ahead of time that the conversation between Obama and Jarrett was “off the record” and a private affair, but published anyway, then BET was justified in booting her from the remainder of the conference — though the mean-spirited commentary she received on social media still crossed the line.

But if Givhan received no prior warning on the matter — and given the fact that BET itself published the conversation later — then this is just a major display of hypocrisy and unnecessary infighting.

What do you think?
