Wonderful forum with great discussion. I would like to point out that Fabian Socialism was conceived of by some of the most fervent Marxists, who were also greatly enamored of the Eugenics movement as was Hitler. I do not think semantics of which form of evil you wish to title it matter much! While we worry about what is rearing its ugly head at us, we must be planning to save all that we can of our beautiful REPUBLIC, to teach our children rather than letting the government indoctrinate them, and protect ourselves from the Globalists and their agenda. We are on the verge of being judged as useful serfs or dead bodies to be used as fertilizer.

Thank you for your reply Maynard. You obviously are a very well informed person, and it is good to receive an encouraging reply on a sensitive topic that is in the sacred cow category. I understand that a lot of very bad thing happened in Nazi Germany. But it has become the accepted norm that you can say anything you want about Hitler and the Nazis as long as it is bad. I have heard the most outrageously ridiculous stories, that have no basis in historic fact, and people get away with it because it is ok to say anything about the nazis as long as it is bad. History does not work that way. you have to examine the bad and the good, and separate the truth from the fiction. If we do that, we learn from it, and if not it can be used as a weapon against us. For instance. The Nazi era was very brief lasting just a little over a decade. However some of the most ancient concepts that have existed since the beginning of the world have been attributed to the nazis by the left. Now what that does, is that the leftist can label us Nazis or Fascist if we have a nationalistic patriotic love for our homeland, our institutions, and our uniqueness as a nation and a people. They apply the same rhetoric if we support and believe in God, or believe in the traditional nuclear family of father mother, children. They try to vilify us as Nazis or Fascists if we believe in the institution of marriage as being the sanctified union between a man and a woman. They have also called us Fascist warmongers because we believe in upholding our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms.
So, you see, it is important that we properly identify the leftist usurpers of our Constitutional Republic as Marxist Socialists and not push the plate onto a dead political threat like Hitlers National Socialism. Hitler is dead, National Socialism is dead. Mussolini is dead, and Fascism's last dying embers are dying with the Baathist of the Middle East. But Marxist Leninist Global Communitarianism is alive, ferocious and extremely dangerous.

Virtually nothing about Barak Obama resembles Adolph Hitler. As a historian it is always difficult to talk openly about real history vs. myth, especially myths that are open to violent criticism if you dare to question them in the light of fact. I do not intend to debate this, because the inevitable result is that a true historian is always accused of being a nazi, even though I am of Sephardi Jewish ancestry. The real danger of mis-identification and the embracing of historic myths is that it draws people away from the real dangers. Several scholarly people in Tea Party have tried repeatedly to get people to study the differences between fascism communism, and nazi-ism. The belief system, and the agenda embraced by Barak Hussein Obama is clearly in line with the Marxist Leninist interpretations of of the Hegelian dialectic and bears no resemblance at all to the nazis. In like manner, the personality of Barak Obama does not even remotely resemble Hitler. He may possibly remotely resemble Lev Davidovich Bronstein AKA Leon Trotsky in his ruthless fantacism. .
A true historian must be able to look at history objectively, otherwise if only the popular mythology of history persist, history will be lost.
No one has to love Hitler, I certainly don't, but I do love history, and despise it's distortion.
There is a reliable formula that has worked for thousands of years that came from the great military genius Sun Tzu. "Know your enemy, Know yourself". Fail to do this and you are setting yourself up for defeat.
I may suggest several very good biographies for the honest history enthusiast. Author Robert Payne wrote an excellent biography about Adolph Hitler entitled "The Life and Death of Adolph Hitler". John Toland also wrote a very good and honest biography entitled. "Adoph Hitler". Another thing that is so annoying is that people quote things from Mein Kampf that are not found in any part of the real book. If you wish to know what it really says I would suggest the Murphy" translation of the book. It is fine to be anti nazi, but it is important to at least be a knowledgeable and honest anti nazi.
And remember before any one decides to start slandering me, telling the truth is not a sin. History is too precious to falsely distort, and our real and present enemy is Marxist and Globalists. It does us no good to mis-identify him as belonging to a dead ideology that was dead and buried 67 years ago and has not ever risen again. The Leftist love it when they can make us look ignorant. I have said my piece and will not respond to slanderous name calling attacks on my character.

Many years ago i was thinking about Adof Hitler and the book of Revalation where it spoke about the head that was killed but came back alive.I've often wondred if that was Adolf Hitler and his regime of terror would come back on the scene in an other person.Since Hitler and Obama are like two peas in a pod??????????

Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy: ‘The Real Second Amendment Isn’t Absolute

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) tweeted Saturday there is a “real” Second Amendment and an “imaginary” one and he believes the real one is “not absolute.”

Murphy, “I support the real 2nd Amendment, not the imaginary 2nd Amendment. And the real 2nd Amendment isn’t absolute.”

The statement was a precursor to his call for banning “assault rifles” in the wake of the Santa Fe High School shooting, even though “assault rifles” were not used in the attack.

Murphy said the “real 2nd Amendment…allows Congress to wake up to reality and ban these assault rifles that are designed for one purpose only – to kill as many people as fast as possible.”

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) said the Santa Fe High School attackers used a .38 revolver and a shotgun to carry out his heinous acts. Therefore, a ban on “assault rifles” would have done nothing to prevent the attack from occurring or the tragic loss of life from taking place.

It should be noted that Saturday was not the first time Sen. Murphy called the essence of the Second Amendment into question. On August 6, 2013, Breitbart News reported that Murphy told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow that “The Second Amendment is not an absolute right, not a God-given right. It has always had conditions upon it like the First Amendment has.”

Murphy did not grapple with the words, “Shall not be infringed.”
