Senator Rand Paul is saying what is true and what so many other people are saying, however my opinion is that Barak Obama and his power elite really don't want to raise taxes to address the deficit. Obama's goal is to widen the gap between those of wealth and those of no wealth. The multimillionaires and billionaires all have tax shelters and will continue to have tax shelters, but those people that are just starting to climb the ladder of profiting from their hard work are having the rungs of the ladder cut off by the government. Those at the top will continue to stay at the top yet those of us that have worked hard to try and improve our life and the lives of our children by just a bit are being told "No you don't. You are not one of the elite. You stay down where you belong!"
Obama does not care about creating jobs. He cares only to feign empathy on the working class and offer them a false message of hope - as he and his kind take multimillion dollar vacations and enjoy the power.
I am not after their power. I am only wanting what is mine, through my hard work.
"Don't tread on me!" because I'll rise up and bite! These Obama people are entering a den of Tea Party snakes!

ARMAGEDDON UPDATE: Major Ohio-based grocery chain announces 11,000 new jobs, $500 million in increased wages/benefits to workers & a substantial charitable investment, thanks to tax reform -- which Democrats would like to repeal.

Kroger sweetens employee benefits as it moves to ramp up hiring

The grocer plans to invest in education, wages and retirement benefits, saying tax law changes helped fund these efforts.

For the record… Every Democrat voted NO to the Trump tax cuts.
