The liberal Dallas Morning News.com ran a story (below) trying to slam Ted Cruz. In a nutshell, at a speech in Austin, someone asked if he was willing to give up his salary during a government shut down. He basically said no. This sounded hypocritical to me.... at 1st. Then, I said to myself, self he and all his other conservative buddies had the guts to stand up for their constituents and, should be paid. The rest, some of whom I voted for, I don't care. Then, further down, the article pointed out that- guess what? During a government shut down, all them big government morons get paid anyway. Wish private industry worked like that....."Hey Mike, ObamaCare and our huge deficit has forced a company shut down. We can't pay our bills but, by God, we are gonna still pay you, even though your spending cuts don't amount to a drop in a bucket.
On another media bias note: here in Texas a while back, Wendy Davis held a filibuster at the state capital, protesting for her right to kill babies-Texas thinks every life is precious. I know, we are assholes. She was lauded as a hero on the left. Ted tries to save us from the Explosive Diarrhea a.k.a. ObamaCare and, he is "just wasting everyone's time".
