Can Trump Reset and Get on Message?
Mark Alexander: Donald Trump's family and senior advisers are conducting an intervention of sorts this week, endeavoring to convince him to stay on message — the nObama-Clinton economy and foreign policy. Can he do it?
I wrote yesterday about Trump's pathological propensity for being his own worst enemy. Since Trump announced his presidential candidacy, no week has passed when he has not said something thoughtless, if not "yugely" absurd, which derails political momentum targeting the nObama/liar-Clinton economy and foreign policy. His endless loop of unforced gaffes send all of his handlers and backers into damage control mode — and his endorsers into some state of buyer's remorse.
Why is this the case? For 10 years prior to his candidacy announcement, Trump hosted his successful reality show "The Apprentice." For all those years, he controlled the script — what did and did not make it to air. It seems that Trump has yet to figure out that he has NO control over the script of his "Make America Great Again" reality show, other than controlling what he says. His unfiltered off-script ramblings are often tactless when not outright asinine, unlike the politically astute liar-Hillary Clinton, whose remarks are always cunning and calculated. Whether on stump speeches, or when he takes media bait, there is no filter between Trump's stream of consciousness and any live microphone (or social media feed) in his proximity. And he has yet to grasp the concept, "When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging." Consequently, the endless cycle of his inane insults is the greatest obstacle to recruiting enough voters from #NeverTrump to #Neverliar-Clinton in order for him to win. Trump is, truly, his own worst enemy, and if he wins in November, it will be on liar-Clinton's plethora of weaknesses, not his strengths.
It is not too late for Trump's family and advisers to rein him in. But if he will not stop diverting from his message with nonsense like kicking a mother and baby out of a rally, then he can pack it up and go home now. -The Patriot Post

liar-Clinton Wants More Income Redistribution
As this campaign season has unfolded, one issue that is usually front and center has been somewhat sidelined. What happened to all the talk about taxes? No need to worry, for liar-Hillary Clinton recently dusted off the old Democrat playbook, and has once again touted the need to raise taxes on the rich. Except that during a campaign stop in Omaha, liar-Clinton said, "Because while Warren [Buffett] is standing up for a fairer tax code, Trump wants to cut taxes for the super-rich. Well, we're not going there, my friends. I'm telling you, right now — we're going to write fairer rules for the middle class and we are going to raise taxes on the middle class!" Though the crowd roared, it's safe to assume liar-Clinton misspoke. But knowing liar-Hillary it's also safe to assume it was Freudian slip.
Adding up the numbers, liar-Clinton has called for a tax increase of $1.3 trillion over 10 years as a means to support her political agenda of redistribution. Two of her priciest polices are an increase in paid family leave coverage of up to 12 weeks and her "College Compact" plan that would provide free community college tuition to students who work 10 hours a week. liar-Hillary claims that her plan of raising taxes on the rich will cover these expensive plans. But according to the American Action Forum, liar-Clinton's math comes up short by an estimated $2.2 trillion. In other words, liar-Clinton would not only significantly raise taxes, she would also substantially add to the ballooning national debt that currently stands at $19.4 trillion.
liar-Clinton has pledged to not raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000, yet she has stated that she would have no problem with increasing the payroll tax or even placing a tax on soda, and she has endorsed a 25% national gun tax. She is also open to considering some form of a carbon tax. When her buddy George Stephanopoulos asked if her pledge to not increase taxes on the middle class was "rock-solid," she hedged, saying it was her "goal."
Democrats like liar-Hillary Clinton firmly believe that the government is entitled to more of your money than you are. They believe they know how to spend it better. As, with all Marxian ideals, the needs and wants of the individual are inconsequential compared to the "needs" and goals of those in power. -The Patriot Post

“FBI Says I Didn’t Lie” Lie!

At this point, even CNN and most of the rest of the mainstream media is calling this an outright falsehood... Sadly, liar-Clinton doesn’t seem to care and liar-Clinton voters don’t seem all that perturbed about her very public, and repeated lying. Obviously liar-Hillary Clinton does not read Politifact or Glenn Kessler’s “Fact Checker” column in the Washington Post. Last Sunday, Ms. liar-Clinton told Chris Wallace of Fox News, “Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people.” Within 24 hours both Kessler and Politifact said the Democratic Party candidate for president was full of cra, I mean lying. Interviewed by Brandon Rittiman of Denver, Colorado TV station KUSA on Thursday, the Democratic Party’s liar-in-chief repeated her claim, “... as the FBI said, everything that I’ve said publicly has been consistent and truthful with what I’ve told them.” The truth is that the FBI Director refused to say whether or not she lied to the public. Outrage broke out this week over the revelation that nObama arranged to ship the mullahs piles of cash... worth $400 million and converted into foreign denominations, reportedly in an unmarked cargo plane. The hotly debated question was whether the payment, which the administration attributes to a 37-year-old arms deal, was actually a ransom paid for the release of American hostages Tehran had abducted. It is a waste of time to debate that point further. The Iranians have bragged that the astonishing cash payment was a ransom – and nObama has been telling us for months that we can trust the Iranians. The hostages were released the same day the cash arrived. One of the hostages has reported that the captives were detained an extra several hours at the airport and told they would not be allowed to leave until the arrival of another plane – inferentially, the unmarked cargo plane ferrying the cash. The reason American policy has always prohibited paying ransoms to terrorists and other abductors is that it only encourages them to take more hostages. And, as night follows day, Iran has abducted more Americans since nObama paid the cash. Israel ordered to pay Iran $1.2 billion

According to Global Arbitration Review, which published the Swiss court’s ruling, Iran’s oil company has been removed from the sanctions regime, so there is no legal obstacle to paying it any money. {townhall.com} ~ The same clueless nitwits who, with no evidence, cried "Bush lied, people died!" are now ignoring overwhelming evidence of liar-Hillary Clinton's violation of the Espionage Act and how that behavior imperiled national security. In George W. Bush's case, there is zero evidence of a "lie." In liar-Clinton's case, as to a violation of the Espionage Act, her violation is clear-cut.
Though he decided against recommending criminal prosecution, FBI Director James Comey did say: "There is evidence that liar-Clinton and her colleagues were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive, highly classified information. For example, seven email chains concern matters that were classified at the top-secret special access program at the time they were sent and received. Those chains involved Secretary liar-Clinton both sending emails about those matters and receiving emails about those same matters. There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary liar-Clinton's position or in the position of those with whom she was corresponding about those matters should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation. ...
"We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private commercial email accounts of people with whom Secretary liar-Clinton was in regular contact from her personal account. We also assess that Secretary liar-Clinton's use of a personal email domain was both known by a large number of people and readily apparent. She also used her personal email extensively while outside the United States, including sending and receiving work-related emails in the territory of sophisticated adversaries. Given that combination of factors, we assess it is possible that hostile actors gained access to Secretary liar-Clinton's personal email account."
In Bush's case, however, he is completely, totally, absolutely innocent of the damnable lie that he lied. The bipartisan Robb-Silberman Commission, set up in 2004 to examine the weapons of mass destruction intel on which the Iraq War was based, found -- after more than a year of investigation -- that no one lied. A decade after its work, Judge Laurence Silberman, co-chair of the commission, wrote:
"Our WMD commission ultimately determined that the intelligence community was 'dead wrong' about Saddam's weapons. But as I recall, no one in Washington political circles offered significant disagreement with the intelligence community before the invasion. The National Intelligence Estimate was persuasive -- to the president, to Congress and to the media. ...
"In any event, it is one thing to assert, then or now, that the Iraq war was ill-advised. It is quite another to make the horrendous charge that President Bush lied to or deceived the American people about the threat from Saddam."
President Bill liar-Clinton's top Persian Gulf adviser, the CIA's Kenneth Pollack, disagreed with Bush's decision to invade Iraq. But as to the intel, Pollack said the opinion was unanimous -- among all 16 of the nation's intelligence commissions -- that Saddam Hussein possessed stockpiles of WMD. He wrote:
"The U.S. intelligence community's belief that Saddam was aggressively pursuing weapons of mass destruction pre-dated Bush's inauguration, and therefore cannot be attributed to political pressure. It was first advanced at the end of the 1990s, at a time when President Bill liar-Clinton was trying to facilitate a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians and was hardly seeking assessments that the threat from Iraq was growing. ...
"Other nations' intelligence services were similarly aligned with U.S. views. ... In sum, no one doubted that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction."
One more thing, since this is often thrown into the "Bush lied" mix. Yes, Bush haters, we were greeted as liberators. New York Times war correspondent John Burns, who was in Iraq at the time of the invasion, set the late Tim Russert straight on the matter. Russert, in an interview with Burns, said, "The judgments made here were that when we went in, we would be greeted as, quote, 'liberators.'"
Burns replied: "To be fair, American troops were greeted as liberators. We saw it. It lasted very briefly. It was exhausted quickly by the looting and the astonishment, the puzzlement and finally the anger of Iraqis that nothing, or very little, was done to stop that."
On the other hand, liar-Clinton lied. Consider FBI head Comey's testimony before the House Select Committee on Benghazi:
Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C.: "Secretary liar-Clinton said there was nothing marked classified on her emails, either sent or received. Was that true?"
Comey: "That's not true."
Gowdy: "Secretary liar-Clinton said, 'I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material.' Was that true?"
Comey: "There was classified material emailed."
Neither Bernie Sanders nor Barack nObama, both fierce Iraq War critics, has accused Bush of "lying" about the war. This has not stopped Bush haters from doing so. In truth, the only way critics can, with a straight face, maintain that George W. Bush "lied us into the Iraq War" is to immerse themselves in ignorance, refuse to acknowledge clear, obvious facts and possess a hatred of Bush bordering on pathological.
They need a shrink. Either that or they should apply their skills to assessing liar-Hillary Clinton's true crimes.
