Court Will Review liar-Clinton Emails over Objections
of Tillerson State Department and Sessions Justice Department
{ judicialwatch.org } ~ Judicial Watch announced today that a federal judge will personally review, in camera, redacted material from emails discussing Secretary of State liar-Hillary Clinton’s use of iPads and iPhones... during her tenure at the State Department. Judge Kollar-Kotelly also ordered the State Department to file an affidavit addressing why it should not have to search new liar-Clinton emails recovered. In taking these steps, the court rejected arguments by the Tillerson State Department and its lawyers at the Sessions Justice Department. The court will review the blacked-out information so as to better ascertain whether the government misconduct exception would require the release of the full emails. Generally speaking, the government misconduct exception prevents government agencies from withholding information that would shed light on government wrongdoing under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The September 21 court order comes in connection with an April 28, 2015, FOIA lawsuit filed after the State Department failed to respond to a March 10, 2015, request (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00646)). Judicial Watch is seeking...Trump Shows Improvement Section
of Calif Border Wall Made – Gov Brown Is Horrible
{ rickwells.us } ~ President Trump went to get a firsthand look at the border wall prototypes and to speak with Border Patrol Agents... He also took advantage of the opportunity to address the media and the American people. Trump and one of the CBP officers held up a poster with a before and after comparison of photos of the San Diego border area highlighting the tremendous difference a wall makes. In many ways the facts about those changes are the best arguments in favor of wall construction. Pointing to the poster, President Trump said, “But here it is before and the people are just pouring across. The CBP officer points out, “This is one of the sections where we have double fencing, actually triple fencing. You have a wall here, you have bollards. Again, it’s outdated materials but it proves the concept.”... https://rickwells.us/trump-border-wall-brown/.
Trump, Nixon, and the Deep State
by James Rosen
{ washingtonexaminer.com } ~ “Is there a deep state in the United States?” asked George Beebe in a recent essay... Yes, the former chief of Russia analysis at CIA concluded, if the definition of “deep state” holds that elements of the national security apparatus possess “the capability, albeit not the legal authority, to abuse intelligence to alter the outcomes of national elections or distort public-policy debates.” Curbing the power of this shadowy group, Beebe suggested, could be accomplished through robust congressional oversight. Yet, in the minds of most analysts inclined to afford the question any serious thought, the Deep State is usually considered immune to the incursions of oversight committees. The group’s members are thought to enjoy the same power over elected officials that blackjack dealers hold over casino visitors: The house always wins. Does that Deep State exist? A logical preliminary question, posed with the same zoological dispassion we would reserve for contemplation of any elusive species, such as the Loch Ness Monster, would first inquire whether such a beast has ever been documented to exist. After all, anyone affirming the existence, let alone the primacy, of the Deep State in Trump-era Washington would presumably concede the impossibility of such fearsome power amassing overnight, or in swift reaction to the ascendancy of a specific political actor deemed an intolerable threat. Would it be a creature solely of our time, the age of Big Data, or was there a Deep State before computers were widely used?... https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/trump-nixon-and-the-deep-state. .

'No Collusion,' House Intel Committee Concludes
by Thomas Gallatin: House Intelligence Committee Republicans announced the end of the committee’s investigation into the Donald Trump/Russia collusion conspiracy during the 2016 presidential election, concluding that there is no evidence to support the charge nor to continue the investigation. Rep. K. Michael Conaway (R-TX) stated, “We’ve found no evidence of collusion. We found perhaps some bad judgment, inappropriate meetings, inappropriate judgment at taking meetings.” Conaway further opined, “Only Tom Clancy or Vince Flynn or someone else like that could take this series of inadvertent contacts with each other, meetings, whatever, and weave that into some sort of a fiction, page-turner spy thriller. We’re not dealing in fiction, we’re dealing in facts, and we found no evidence of any collusion.” House Democrats, clearly not thrilled by the decision, predictably claimed that Republicans were shutting down the investigation too soon in order to protect Trump. The top Democrat on the committee, Rep. Adam scum-Schiff (CA), blasted the announcement as a “tragic milestone” and a “capitulation to the executive branch.”scum-Schiff added, “By ending its oversight role in the only authorized investigation in the House, the Majority has placed the interests of protecting the president over protecting the country, and history will judge its actions harshly.” scum-Schiff then regurgitated the Democrats’ worn-out talking point of Russian collusion conspiracy, saying, “If the Russians do have leverage over the president of the United States, the majority has simply decided it would rather not know.”
After more than a year of the Intel Committee investigating and turning up no evidence of any collusion, Republicans are right to conclude the matter — it has proven only to descend into political gamesmanship. Democrats weren’t interested in finding the truth and concluding the investigation. Rather, their desire was to see it continue unendingly in order to maintain a politically convenient cloud of suspicion over Trump’s entire presidency. Their feigned concern over protecting the nation has nothing to do with actually protecting America; it’s aimed at protecting their anti-Trump political position.
While Democrats are trying to protect their anti-Trump talking points, Republicans are rightly focusing on moving forward and protecting the nation against more Russian election meddling. A spokeswoman for House Speaker Paul Ryan noted, “After more than a year investigating Russia’s actions in the 2016 election, we are well into the primary season for the 2018 elections and experts are warning that we need to safeguard against further interference. That’s what this next phase is about and we hope Democrats will join us in seeing this through.” Fat chance.
Exit quote: “House Republicans have abandoned their oath to support and defend the Constitution and protect the American people,” lamented House Minority Leader Nancy Pulosi (D-CA). No, Democrats are the ones who’ve mastered abandoning their oaths.
