The Impeachment Farce Is A Slap
In The Face To American Voters

{ thefederalist.com } ~ Democrats in the House of Representatives yesterday announced they would open a “formal impeachment inquiry,” whatever that is... Summoning all the courage of the Cowardly Lion, House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) stood before a flag, compared herself to Thomas Paine, and told the American people she was kinda, sorta, almost ready to maybe attempt to impeach President Trump. Bold leadership. For weeks now, Democrats have been divided over whether they were already holding an impeachment inquiry. Not articles of impeachment, but an impeachment inquiry. As Allen Iverson once said, “We up in here talking about practice. Not a game, not a game. Practice.” So now liar-Pelosi wants to run lay-up drills without having the guts or desire to actually impeach the president. Why? Because they have no justification to impeach the president, just a fever-driven hatred of him and his supporters. Apparently the final straw, now that the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation fizzled like a wet sparkler, is a thus far unknown account from an unknown person relaying rumors about a phone conversation Trump had with the president of Ukraine. This gruel is so thin that even Oliver Twist would say, “You know what? Never mind.” How do we know this? We know it because the spineless Democrats won’t even actually impeach. Like a high school freshman afraid to ask out the girl, they are asking friends to gauge her interest, terrified of being shot down. All of this is, more than anything, a slap in the face of the American voters who, much to the dismay of the right sort, decided Trump should be president. As everyone knows, he wasn’t the first choice of a lot of conservatives. But you know what conservatives did — at least the ones who remain conservatives and don’t self-flagellate in the Washington Post? They listened to the American people, and learned from Americans’ desire to put the evil orange man in charge. As is generally the case, the American people knew what they were doing. Now the Democrats, clearly terrified that their clown car of subpar candidates can’t beat Trump next November, want to thwart the will of the people and toss out the duly elected president. And they can’t even commit to it. This half measure, this bizarre investigation to decide if we need an investigation, is a sad indictment of their impotence. This is clearly a fight Trump relishes, and he should. Now he can point his forefinger, be it long or short, directly at Democrats and say, “You can’t beat me, so you are trying to cheat.” And he won’t be wrong. This farcical feint at impeachment is a sad and desperate measure by a party devoid of ideas, lacking in vision, incapable of doing anything but mock the huge swaths of the nation that support Trump. It is a pathetic display that Americans will see through like an X-ray machine....

{ dailycaller.com } ~ House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy fired back at Speaker of the House liar-Nancy Pelosi after she came out in favor of the impeachment... of President Donald Trump for the first time Tuesday after meeting with her caucus. In a Tuesday night press conference on Capitol Hill, McCarthy said liar-Pelosi’s calls for impeachment are due to the Democrats losing the presidency in 2016, saying this is proof they have not yet got over the election. McCarthy also said their job is to legislate, not to continue to find dirt on the President. “This election is over. I realize 2016 did not turn out the way Speaker liar-Pelosi wanted it to happen. But she cannot change the laws of this Congress. She cannot unilaterally decide when an impeachment inquiry,” McCarthy said to reporters. “What she said today made no difference of what’s been going on.” liar-Pelosi publicly announced late Tuesday afternoon, “Today I’m announcing the House of Representatives is moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry.” Despite liar-Pelosi’s early reluctance to push for impeachment, there are currently 174 Democrats who support impeachment or an impeachment inquiry, compared to the 61 Democrats who do not yet support impeachment or an impeachment inquiry. liar-Pelosi has said she believes Trump is “goading” Democrats to impeach him because he thinks it will help him fire up his base. From Michael Flynn’s Court Case

{ thefederalist.com } ~ On Sept. 23, the attorney for President Trump’s former national security advisor, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, filed a three-page amendment to their Motion to Compel the government to turn over evidence previously withheld from Flynn’s defense counsel... The latest court filing came the same day Flynn’s attorney, former federal prosecutor turned defense attorney Sidney Powell, swatted down Democrat Rep. scumbag-Adam Schiff’s demand that Flynn testify before the House Intelligence Committee. Flynn “will not appear before your committee on September 25, 2019, to be paraded, harassed, or disparaged,” Powell wrote. Not only does Flynn have a Fifth Amendment right not to appear before the committee, “much of the testimony you seek would most likely be foreclosed by Executive Privilege,” Powell explained. She then closed the one-page letter, noting that in their prior correspondence, her legal team had exposed scumbag-Schiff’s “disregard for propriety, professionalism, prior practices, and ethics in your theatrical demand.” While Powell’s letter to scumbag-Schiff proved entertaining, the amendment to the Motion to Compel proved edifying: We now know more of the strands of SpyGate that Powell has weaved together since taking over as Flynn’s defense attorney a few short months ago. Since June, when Powell took over for Flynn’s prior attorneys, she has been busy reviewing the entire record related to Flynn’s guilty plea for making false statements to the FBI. This revealed several pieces of evidence prosecutors had withheld—evidence Powell claims the government was required to turn over as Brady material and under the terms of presiding judge Emmett Sullivan’s standing order. After the government refused, Powell filed a Motion to Compel and sought sanctions against the federal prosecutors. She has since suggested that the government’s egregious conduct justifies dismissing the charge against Flynn. The original motion, filed last month, highlighted several areas of inquiry, which hint to several blockbuster discoveries in the wings. Sept. 23’s amendments provide additional insights into the information Powell believes exists that will benefit Flynn and further her argument of egregious government abuse. So, what did Flynn ask for?Most significantly, Powell added a request for a copy of Col. (Ret.) James “Baker’s calendar showing his meetings with or any other communications with David Ignatius from July 1, 2015 through March 2017.” Ignatius, a columnist for The Washington Post, broke the story on January 12, 2017, that “Flynn phoned Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak several times on Dec. 29, the day the scumbag/liar-nObama administration announced the expulsion of 35 Russian officials as well as other measures in retaliation for the hacking.” “What did Flynn say, and did it undercut the U.S. sanctions?” Ignatius asked, while suggesting the calls implicated the Logan Act, which “though never enforced bars U.S. citizens from correspondence intending to influence a foreign government about ‘disputes’ with the United States.” The FBI later questioned Flynn about those calls, and then the special counsel charged that Flynn made false statements to the FBI agents, one of whom was the now-disgraced and fired Peter Strzok. While Flynn pleaded guilty to that charge and awaits sentencing, the government has refused to give Powell a copy of the recorded conversation between Flynn and Kislyak. She also seeks access to that in her motion to compel. How Hamas Leaders Fool Palestinians

{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ The leaders of Hamas, the Palestinian terror group ruling the Gaza Strip since 2007, seem to have hearts of stone regarding the suffering of the people living under their regime... These leaders have no problem sending Palestinians to risk their lives near the border with Israel, while they and their families enjoy a comfortable life. More than 250 Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured in clashes with the Israel Defense Forces since the beginning of the Hamas-sponsored weekly protests near the Gaza-Israel border in March 2018. While the protests are continuing and more Palestinians continue to put their lives at risk at the behest of the Hamas leadership, the terror group's senior officials are busy throwing lavish parties for their family members and upgrading their personal treasuries. It is as if the Hamas leaders were telling their people: Sacrifice yourself for the cause of destroying Israel and killing Jews so that we and our families can continue to live it up. The latest example of this exploitation of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip surfaced in the form of a video of the birthday celebration of 20-year-old Mohammed, son of senior Hamas official Ghazi Hamad. Hamad, a former deputy foreign minister in the Hamas government of 2012, currently serves as deputy minister in the Hamas-controlled Ministry for Social Welfare and is personally entrusted with overseeing aid to the most impoverished families in the Gaza Strip. Ironically, the man in charge of caring for the poorest families was caught on camera throwing a lavish birthday party for his son. The video of the birthday party in the Gaza Strip has gone viral on social media. Many Palestinians expressed outrage over the celebration which, they said, took place at a time when the residents of the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave are facing dire economic conditions and are being killed in clashes with the Israeli security forces as they try to infiltrate the border with Israel and throw rocks, petrol bombs and explosive devices at Israeli soldiers. "The sons of our leaders are always different from the ordinary people," commented Facebook user Ahmad Hassan. Paid $227 Million to States as
a Result of Miscalculations

{ freebeacon.com } ~ The federal government incorrectly paid states hundreds of millions of dollars in bonuses to expand health care coverage before scumbag/liar-nObamacare's implementation... The scumbag/liar-nObama administration erroneously sent $277 million to state governments that inflated the number of children enrolled in Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The federal government began offering bonuses to state programs to help cover the costs of expanded child coverage shortly after scumbag/liar-nObama took office in 2009. Over the next four years, the program paid out $645 million in bonuses, 43 percent of which turned out to be "unallowable," according to a new report by the inspector general of the Department of Health and Human Services. Miscalculations and administrative errors, such as counting disabled people as children in the total tally, drastically inflated the number of children covered by state health care systems, leading to chronic overpayment. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) distributed the bonus payments to states if they enrolled more children in health care programs than a baseline quota established by the CMS. The agency, however, relied on data submitted by the states to evaluate how many kids were enrolled. CMS did not double-check the figures. "CMS did not have access to accurate State data in time to make correct bonus payments and did not use these data once they became available to verify the accuracy of the current enrollment that the States reported," the IG report read. The inspector general's audit of all payments in the period found that 11 states including Alaska, Louisiana, and Virginia, overstated the number of children enrolled in state health care programs... Those states should be made to pay back for the miscalculation..

Political Editors: Who gets to define “hate?” Evidently for House Democrats, it’s the leftist hate-mongering Southern Poverty Law Center. Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee last week called for stripping tax-exempt status from organizations on a list of “hate groups” — a list created by the SPLC that consists of mostly conservative groups.
The call to strip groups on the SPLC list of their tax-exempt status came during a Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee hearing that focused on “How The Tax Code Subsidizes Hate.” The Washington Examiner reports, “Some of the bigger organizations on the list include the fundamentalist Protestant group American Family Association, which opposes gay rights, the anti-immigration organization Federation for American Immigration Reform, the conservative think tank the Center for Security Policy, and the socially conservative group the Family Research Council. The groups were designated as ‘hate groups’ by the Southern Poverty Law Center, a group that itself is controversial and whose founder was fired this year for misconduct.”
The Examiner notes that no legislation has been proposed at this time, though this serves as a warning foreshadowing what Democrats will seek to do should they regain majority control of both the House and Senate. ~The Patriot Post
