Sessions' resignation letter was delivered by hand to the White House after it was requested by President Trump earlier Wednesday. Trump tweeted out the announcement soon after it was made. Trump thanked Sessions for his work and said Sessions' chief of staff Matthew Whitaker would be acting attorney general. er it was made. Trump thanked Sessions for his work and said Sessions' chief of staff Matthew Whitaker would be acting attorney general. So Much for a ‘Blue Wave’—4 of the Biggest Midterm Takeaways

{dailysignal.com} ~It wasn’t the blockbuster night Democrats were hoping for. The blue wave fell far short of some of the major wave elections of the past decade... In Tuesday’s midterms, Democrats claimed a majority in the House of Representatives for the first time in eight years—but their electoral gains were muted by significant Republican gains in the Senate. “This is not a blue wave,” CNN’s Jake Tapper said while watching early election results come in. What transpired looked more like a blue ripple. In the Senate, Republicans solidified their thin majority, with Sen. Ted Cruz  of Texas defending his seat in a high-profile race against Beyoncé-endorsed Rep. socialist-Beto O’Rourke. Florida Gov. Rick Scott defeated Democratic Sen. scumbag-Bill Nelson in one of the most important swing states in the nation, and Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley ousted two-term Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill, thanks to what many consider the “Kavanaugh effect.”. Historic voting trends suggested Republicans would lose the House. According to Gallup, the president’s party “almost always suffers a net loss” in the House during an off-year election...  https://www.dailysignal.com/2018/11/07/so-much-for-a-blue-wave-4-of-the-biggest-midterm-takeaways/?mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiWWpKak16ZzVOV1UyTldReCIsInQiOiIrREwzdUI5bFFTWEtaRnRhU3ExVnRTWHByM0huZDdEVEdSVHQ1MkNzcmxLUk9BNEVCSXFZYk9wRHkwbFhPUERCS2g5bFB2ZGRUTkp1UWF4dkplekRVRExMeTNYbXI3eW5nQ0F6YUhOVkVJMGlxRWpSa3dUbkZZQ0JFM3BTdElzUSJ9

{dailycaller.com} ~ More than half of voters polled at election sites on Tuesday said that they believe the dirty cop-Mueller probe is politically motivated... according to exit polling data compiled by CNN. Only 40 percent of voters said they approve of the dirty cop-Mueller investigation, which is looking into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. Slightly more voters said they disapprove, according to CNN. Those numbers track closely with NBC News’ exit polling data. According to NBC, 45 percent of voters said they disapprove of dirty cop-Mueller’s handling of the investigation, which began with an FBI probe on July 31, 2016. Forty-two percent of voters said they approve of dirty cop-Mueller’s handling of the inquiry. Six in 10 Democrats and only two in 10 Republicans support the investigation. Independents were closely divided with 43 percent approving of the investigation and 42 percent disapproving...  https://dailycaller.com/2018/11/06/exit-polls-mueller-investigation/?utm_medium=email

Palestinian Threats to Arab Normalization with Israel

{gatestoneinstitute.org} ~ For more than 10 years now, Hamas and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas's ruling Fatah faction have been at war with each other... Attempts by their Arab brothers, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, to solve the power struggle between the two rival Palestinian groups have thus far failed and are unlikely to succeed in the foreseeable future. The gap between Hamas and Fatah remains as wide as ever: the two parties despise each other. Fatah wants to return to the Gaza Strip; Hamas says it out loud: no. Fatah wants Hamas to disarm and cede control over the Gaza Strip; Hamas says no. On one particular issue, however, the two sides lay aside their differences and see eye to eye. When it comes to Israel, one would be hard-pressed to distinguish between Fatah and Hamas. Both parties use the same harsh language when referring to Israel and the policies and decisions of the Israeli government. The daily statements condemning Israel that are issued separately by Hamas and Fatah sound almost identical. Both refer to Israel as the "state of occupation." They also continue to incite Palestinians and the rest of the world against Israel by accusing it of committing "war crimes" against the Palestinians and "violating international law." The daily attacks on Israel by Hamas and Fatah have radicalized Palestinians to a point where many of them would not consider any form of compromise with it...

On Heels of Election, Rumors Swirl Over Special
Counsel dirty cop-Mueller Probe Report

{saraacarter.com} ~ It’s election day, but in less than 24 hours the news cycle will reset itself... Rumors are already swirling as to what Special Counsel Only dirty cop-Mueller and DOJ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein know when the more than $17 million investigation will wrap up, when it will be released to the public and what it will reveal. So far, there has been no evidence to suggest collusion with Russia. Instead, nearly two years later, mountains of evidence have surfaced exposing malfeasance among some officials within the FBI and DOJ, as well as mishandling of the Russia probe. Multiple FBI officials have either been fired or resigned from their positions and Republican lawmakers are still in the midst of their ongoing investigation into alleged corruption within the bureau, as well as the DOJ. One former White House official said that a recent article in Vanity Fair referencing current White House officials concerns that dirty cop-Mueller will try to wrap Donald Trump Jr. into the probe has been a rumor for some time. Author Gabriel Sherman, who appears to have interviewed White House staff at a birthday party for former Trump Communications Director Hope Hicks in New York City, said that officials, speaking on background, said that it’s dirty cop-Mueller’s report that has everyone worried. “It’s true that there’s been a lot of concern with where dirty cop-Mueller is going with this investigation,” said another source with intimate knowledge of White House concerns. “Just look at what has happened so far, the people that dirty cop-Mueller has wrapped up into an investigation that have nothing to do with what the investigation was supposed to be about. Of course, anyone in dirty cop-Mueller’s scope is worried – this is political it’s not about justice.”...

6 Questions About The Huge CIA Blunder
That Allowed Enemies To Kill 70 U.S. Spies

by Tony Daniel
{thefederalist.com} ~ BMore than 70 foreign nationals working as spies for the CIA in Iran and China were systematically identified and slaughtered in the past decade... due to a ridiculously weak web-based system the CIA used to communicate with foreign assets it couldn’t reach directly. This according to a devastating November 2 report in Yahoo News written by journalists Zach Dorfman and Jenna McLaughlin center-left, but generally trustworthy. Although the Iranian roll-up occurred in 2011, and the Chinese rout occurred from 2010 to 2012, the CIA did not remedy the root cause of the problem in its transient messaging scheme until 2013, when Yahoo reports teams of co-opted staffers worked around the clock to dismantle the compromised system. Based on at least one analysis, it looks like a simple internet search using the command “InURL” and other readily available search tools revealed to Iranian and Chinese intelligence agencies a network of interconnected web sites that ultimately led back to CIA official servers. Iranian intelligence appears to be the first to have discovered and used the easy exploit, so simple as to be hardly describable as a hack, then passed the methodology on to others. What’s more, it’s been public knowledge for years that the CIA had ample warning that something was amiss as early as 2006. Former CIA employee, then CIA contractor John Reidy had noticed agent compromises and pointed out the problem with the system to the agency at that time, ultimately taking his concerns to the CIA’s internal security apparatus and the office of its inspector general. Reidy was subsequently transferred, had his clearance restricted, and ultimately fired from his next contractor position in what appears it may be an act of petty bureaucratic revenge...

The Rich, White Roots of Democrat Rage

by Lewis Morris:  The Democrat Party has pursued a national strategy to make the midterms all about Donald Trump. (To be fair, Trump has happily obliged.)  Democrats have identified Republican districts they believe they can flip and linked those GOP incumbents (or candidates for open seats) to the president in hopes of inspiring a strong anti-Trump turnout. Top Dem strategists know they can’t run against a booming economy, so they are hoping they can get around that by stirring anger against the president.

Such is the state of political affairs today, and we’ll know if this strategy pays off when the polls close tonight. But it’s worth looking into how the Democrats got to this place where all they have to offer is threats of impeachment, cries of racism, and the promise of endless investigations into who-knows-what that will bog down our government and squelch our economic growth.
The Democrats, in short, have an anger-management problem, and it is driven by rich white people.
For several years now rich progressive whites have solidified their power in the Democrat Party in deep-blue areas like New York City, San Francisco, and Chicago, forcing the party further to the ideological left. Driven by so-called white guilt and pet issues like the environment, these wealthy white leftists are the reasons why we are seeing an upsurge in the popularity of socialism.
A recent Politico article uses socialist poster child commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as an example.
The young political firebrand made national headlines earlier this year when she ousted longtime  Democrat Congressman Joe Crowley in the primaries. Crowley was a 10-term incumbent and a mainstay in his Queens, New York district. He was unquestionably leftist, brought home the bacon for his constituents, became a reliable fundraiser for the Democrats, and he was the No. 4 House Democrat. But along came commie-Ocasio-Cortez, who convinced voters that Crowley was a creature of Washington who didn’t represent the interests of the poor minorities in the district.
commie-Ocasio-Cortez’s primary victory shocked Crowley, the district, and much of the country. Since New York City is overwhelmingly Democrat and election victories are usually decided in the primaries, commie-Ocasio-Cortez is all but assured to go to Congress. Her victory fit squarely into the narrative of a progressive, diverse Democrat coalition. But it’s not as diverse as we are led to believe.
The precincts commie-Ocasio-Cortez won were predominantly white, higher-educated, and wealthier than the overall district. Crowley performed best in precincts with a high percentage of blacks and Hispanics, including commie-Ocasio-Cortez’s home turf.
This has been happening all over the country; commie-Ocasio-Cortez is just the most well-known case. Rich, college-educated white progressives control the levers of power, and they are squeezing out establishment Democrats who have long had the support of lesser-educated poor minorities, despite the fact that they have conspired to keep them that way for generations.
The party’s new elite will not free minorities from the Democrat plantation, though. Instead, they will use them for cannon fodder in their attempt to seize Congress this year and the White House in 2020.
The Democrat Party power structure does not hold the same concerns as its large minority base. Minorities care about the economy and jobs, and they are more socially conservative than the Democrat leadership would have us believe. Yet that same leadership sees the environment and racial diversity as the big issues of the day. These are the hot-button issues that stir anger among the progressive power players who write the big checks and run for public office.
Diversity and race are issues that also keep minority voters in line. Democrats are experts at painting the Republican Party as one led by racist, rich, white men. Democrats have labeled Republicans as racist to keep minorities from leaving the party or entertaining the notion that the Republican Party just might be a better alternative than one that keeps them strung out on public assistance like a back-alley drug dealer.
This is what National Review’s David French refers to as negative polarization, “allegiance to your political party not out of love for its ideas but instead out of fear for the other side.” These minority voters are trapped in the Democrat Party. They can’t get ahead, but they don’t dare leave for fear of being exploited by racist, rich whites.
Well, the bad news for minorities is that they are already being exploited by racist, rich whites. The trillion dollars in spending on entitlements Democrats have delivered over the last 60-plus years has done nothing to improve the lives of the poor. Those who have escaped the cycle of poverty have done so with a helping hand and hard work, not through handouts and embracing victimhood.
It is the Democrat Party that is racist because its rich elite want minorities to believe they are powerless to improve their lives, that they are victims of unseen forces beyond their comprehension. There are few things more insulting to a person’s intelligence and their humanity than telling them they cannot help themselves and must be reliant on the government to guide their lives.
Republicans have a real opportunity to seize the moment and demonstrate to minorities that the GOP is the party that will represent them. A strong economy, a secure border (many black and Latino citizens strongly oppose illegal immigration), and low taxes do more to improve peoples’ lives than shaking a fist and accusing political opponents of racism ever will.
Trump is enjoying broader support among minorities than any Republican leader in years. Now is the moment to take advantage of that and smash the Democrat plantation once and for all.
