27 Problems With Media’s Latest Failed Attack
On Attorney General William Barr

{ thefederalist.com } ~ Some days it seems as if Attorney General William Barr is one of very few adults in Washington, D.C. The highly respected attorney is serving his second tour at the head of the Department of Justice... The first was during the George H.W. Bush administration. A brilliant legal mind with a candid and no-nonsense attitude, Barr is able to withstand pressure from the media and other members of the Resistance. Partisan media vehemently oppose Barr, partly for being an effective advocate of President Trump’s policies at the Department of Justice, but mostly for admitting and expressing concern about the Department of Justice’s role in the Russia collusion hoax that undermined the Trump administration. Nearly the entire political media establishment worked with anonymous sources inside the government and Democratic offices to spread the false conspiracy theory that Trump was a traitor who had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election from scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton. This false and dangerous conspiracy theory negatively affected national security and foreign policy, sidelined Barr’s predecessor at the Department of Justice, and generally made it difficult to run the executive branch or secure good political appointees to work in the administration. As the media did with Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), who accurately raised the alarm about Russia collusion story, they have put out a series of attacks and hit pieces on Barr and John Durham, the federal prosecutor Barr appointed to investigate the FBI’s spying on the Trump campaign. The playbook is for the media and Democrats to discredit whomever they decide is a threat. Rep. scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff, who spent years falsely claiming to hold evidence of treasonous collusion with Russia, called Barr “the second most dangerous man in America.” One Washington Post headline: “John Durham has a stellar reputation for investigating corruption. Some fear his work for Barr could tarnish it.” As in, if Durham’s investigation doesn’t match the false narrative set by the Post and other media outlets, they’ll rewrite the story about his reputation. Nice reputation you have, Durham. Shame if something happened to it. The fear of Durham’s investigation and Barr’s support for that investigation is legitimate. The media and other Resistance members staked their reputations on the Russia probe, which imploded spectacularly when, despite the daily if not hourly promises of bombshells and “walls closing in,” Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his sprawling investigation were unable to find a single American who had colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election...

{ foxnews.com } ~ House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday  announced the seven lawmakers who will serve as impeachment managers... to prosecute the case against President Trump in his imminent Senate trial. “This is about the Constitution of the United States,” liar-Pelosi said, as she presented the Democrats' legal team and noted that she put an emphasis on "litigators" in assembling them. The managers include House Intelligence Committee Chairman scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff, D-Calif., who will be the lead manager and who directed much of the impeachment inquiry out of his committee, and House Judiciary Committee Chairman scumbag liar-Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., whose panel drafted the articles of impeachment. liar-Pelosi also tapped  House Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y.; Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo.; Val Demings, D-Fla.; Sylvia Garcia, D-Texas; and Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif. Many of the managers were chosen because of their backgrounds: Lofgren has been involved in three presidential impeachment proceedings: as a Judiciary Committee staffer during former President Richard Nixon's and a committee member during former President scumbag/liar-Bill Clinton's impeachment, and now as a manager. During scumbag/liar-Clinton’s impeachment in 1999, there were 13 House impeachment managers. liar-Pelosi chose seven for Trump's trial. Announcing the managers, liar-Pelosi argued the charges against the president will be a stain on his legacy, dramatically referring to an "impeachment that will last forever." She said the House on Wednesday will pass a resolution to appropriate funds for the trial, and transmit the articles -- abuse of power and obstruction of Congress -- to the Senate...  https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pelosi-announces-trump-impeachment-managers

Trump’s Iran czar to ‘Post’: Iran’s weak,

{ jpost.com } ~ The protests in Iran combined with US pressure and continued economic sanctions are weakening Iran and could, together, lead Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to change his policies... Brian Hook, the Trump administration’s top envoy for Iran, told The Jerusalem Post. "We have weakened the regime dramatically,” Hook told the Post. “We've weakened their proxies, and we have disrupted and deterred many Iranian operations. Now, President Donald Trump has taken Qasem Soleimani off the battlefield – he was the glue that really held together Iran's proxies in the gray zone so effectively – and we think that his death is much more likely to make the region more stable."  In light of recent protests in Iran and given the US administration "maximum pressure" campaign, Hook said that the Iranian regime now has "with very few options and all of them are bad." The American sanctions are "starving the regime of the revenue it needs to fund its proxies at historic levels," Hook said. During the scumbag/liar-nObama nuclear deal, he said, "the regime was rich and so are its proxies. When the proxies have less money and the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism has less money, it means fewer attacks. That does not mean that we have eliminated the asymmetric dimension of modern terrorism. There will always be risk of attacks, but we have put in place a foreign policy that is weakening the regime and its proxies and the regime knows it." Hook called on the United Kingdom, France and Germany to follow up their decision to initiate a dispute mechanism in the 2015 Iran nuclear deal with additional sanctions. "If followed to its logical conclusion, it would result in the snapback of UN sanctions and the collapse of the Iran nuclear deal," he explained. "The president is looking for a much stronger deal that certainly would prevent Iran from ever getting a nuclear weapon," Hook continued. "The JCPOA is a modest and temporary non-proliferation plan that expires. So we're looking for a much stronger deal that addresses all of Iran's threats to peace and security. Israel has been an amazing partner with the United States trying to reverse the gains that Iran made under the Iran nuclear deal and restore deterrence." Hook voiced optimism that the street protests in Iran combined with the US sanctions would lead to a change in policy in Tehran...   https://www.jpost.com/Middle-East/Trumps-Iran-czar-to-Post-Irans-weak-sanctions-and-protests-work-614247

The Cult Of liar-Pelosi Is A Deadly

{ thefederalist.com } ~ There are many cults in Washington, D.C. The Founding Church of Scientology sits between Dupont and Logan Circles... The earth-worshiping Defenders of Wildlife are just a few blocks south, their entrance guarded by imposing bronze grey wolves. One block north, the Human Rights Campaign dispatches starry-eyed adherents with clipboards to recruit followers, and to the east lie the child-harvesters.  Two blocks away, the remnants of the Church of Her keep scumbag/liar-Hillary’s flame burning; and crowning them all: the mighty cult of SoulCycle. But today, the city has another faith working reporters into a fervor, and her name is liar-Nancy Pelosi. Reporters have called her “basically invincible,” a “political grandmaster,” an “icon of female power,” a “rockstar” and, time and time again, “a fashion icon.” Reporters have venerated “her clothes, her hand gestures, her facial expression” and placed a halo ’round her head. Activists projected her image on San Francisco’s city hall and a D.C. restaurant dedicated a Christmas tree in her honor. “House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi is doing to President Donald Trump what no one else has in the nearly three years since he took office: She’s making him squirm.” Business Insider pronounced two days after Christmas. “House Speaker liar-Nancy Pelosi has managed to accomplish what no one else has even tried in the past three years: sticking it right back to Trump,” RawStory echoed the same day in an article that includes “squirm” in its headline. Time magazine featured her portrait on its cover this month for the third time, with a dramatic, black and white photograph: “Why liar-Nancy Pelosi Went All In Against Trump.” It’s just the latest in a months-long chorus of praise rising for her apparent victory against President Donald Trump. It’s a chorus gulped down by reporters, talking heads, staffers, and activists across the city. The vote to impeach the president — which won’t result in his removal from office and was achieved on a strictly partisan line plus two no’s, a “present” and an actual defection from her party — was sandwiched between the the liar-speaker’s House passing funding for the president’s wall then his long-touted trade deal. Then liar-Pelosi held the articles for weeks, demanding Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell bend to her will. The press lauded her strategy and waited dutifully for the senator to crack, but of course he did not, as was easily predictable to anyone with even a limited understanding of who actually had the leverage and how McConnell has ruled his chamber...

Laura Ingraham Blocks Devin Nunes from

{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ Do Laura Ingraham and Mary McCord have a history together in/around Washington DC schools, law firms, clerks, social circles etc? Because obviously Ingraham doesn’t want Devin Nunes to discuss the revelations... about former DOJ-NSD head Mary McCord now working with scumbag/liar-Adam Schiff on the impeachment agenda. Then again, it could be her typical Hannitus Interruptus style of self-important talking that destroys the opportunity for decent information. :::Sigh:::The key to understanding the corrupt endeavor behind the fraudulent “whistle-blower” complaint, doesn’t actually originate with ICIG Atkinson. The key person is the former head of the DOJ National Security Division, Mary McCord. Prior to becoming IC Inspector General, Michael Atkinson was the Acting Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General of the National Security Division, Mary McCord. It is very safe to say Mary McCord and Michael Atkinson have a working relationship from their time together in 2016 and 2017 at the DOJ-NSD. Atkinson was Mary McCord’s senior legal counsel; essentially her lawyer...

Sketchy Changes to IG FISA Report Cover-Up
Major Discrepancy in First Version
by sundance
{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ There was a major discrepancy in the Inspector General report on FISA abuse, that appears to have been overlooked and casts a considerable cloud upon the DOJ Office of Inspector General and Michael Horowitz... In chapter ten of the report, on page #312 you will find the following information. The claim is that no-one in the FBI initiated any use of “Confidential Human Sources” into the campaign prior to opening the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. “In our review, we did not find any evidence that the FBI used CHSs or UCEs to interact with members of the Trump campaign prior to the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”…However, in the very next chapter (#11, page #400), in the original IG report as released on December 9th, 2019, you will find the following statement: The two statements are completely contradictory. Carter Page and George Papadopoulos started working for the Trump campaign in early March 2016. The Crossfire Hurricane investigation began on July 28th, 2016. If the FBI tasked CHS’s before and after they were affiliated with the Trump campaign, that was certainly before the opening of Crossfire Hurricane. That statement was also included in the original Executive Summary (page xvi) as below...

Iran Shows Difficulties of and Need
for War on Terror

Harold Hutchison:  The takedown of Qasem Soleimani has caused a major shift in the Middle East. It also has managed to reinforce the necessity of fighting the War on Terror, as well as illustrating why this war is a very difficult one to fight.

In the wake of the termination of the notorious Quds Force commander, Iran retaliated by targeting two American bases with 15 or so ballistic missiles, four of which failed, making the regime look like a paper tiger. President Donald Trump had authorized a strike to take down Soleimani should an American be killed and if the conditions were right. Obviously, earlier this month, they were.

However, shortly after the ineffective missile barrage, some Iranian troops near Tehran who were manning a SA-15 Gauntlet launcher apparently forgot a basic safety rule involving weapons — be sure of your target. As a result of that negligent discharge of an air-defense system, the Iranian regime downed a Boeing 737 with 176 people on board. There were no survivors. Somehow, at least if you listen to Democrats and the Leftmedia, the Iranian regime’s inability to follow a commonsense rule that anyone would learn at an NRA firearms safety course is Donald Trump’s fault.

Of course, in the wake of the Soleimani takedown — one that is no less justified than the takedowns of Isoroku Yamamoto, Osama bin Laden, and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi — Iran has been spouting its usual “Death to America” nonsense. Some of the leaders also reiterated their desire to wipe Israel off the map, and threats were made to the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Iran’s actions show why we still need to fight the War on Terror. Countries will sponsor terrorist groups as a way to land blows against the United States — and even hit Americans on American soil. Or, failing that, they will lash out at American allies. If you want a sustainable long-term peace, Jihadistan must be fought.

Saying that, of course, is the easy part. The actual takedown of the bad guys isn’t hard, relatively speaking, either. The very hard part when it comes to winning the Global War on Terror comes after that. America has to somehow find and keep friendly governments in the region, and that takes long-term commitment. That, though, is arguably the biggest question America needs to answer, and America’s biggest difficulty. Just look at the situation in Afghanistan.

To see just how America’s commitment to winning fades, consider the dishonorable treatment of the Patriots who interrogated Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Aby Zubaydah, and other hard-core al-Qaida terrorists. America asked people like Gina Haspel, Jose Rodriguez, Bruce Jessen, and James Mitchell to find ways to get that information. When enhanced interrogation techniques were proposed, they were reviewed and found to be legal. Yet instead of being honored for accomplishing this difficult task and saving lives, these Patriots were left to fend for themselves. Then, grandstanding politicians proceeded to stab them in the back again with new restrictions.

It’s ironic that many of those who demand we believe the “intelligence community” about Trump-Russia collusion have been dismissive at best when that same “intelligence community” told the truth about what it took to get hardened terrorists to talk.

In any case, if America wants to win the Long War, it needs to find the long-term commitment needed for victory.   ~The Patriot Post
