As typical in an era where outrage is generally promoted to the level of Moonbat crazy, the circle of stupid was fueled by the media, who fired-up the politicians…who fired-up the outrage protestations…who fueled the media…and thus the circle of stupid continued. All the way to liar-Nancy Pulosi dropping all Speaker pretense of actual legislation, and instead choosing to bring a resolution to the House floor to advance Muh “racist” OrangeManBad. The debt ceiling needs to be raised. Spending appropriations bills need to be resolved. Immigration laws need to be fixed. The border is in crisis. Infrastructure spending needs to be resolved. The USMCA needs to be ratified. Forget all those issues that matter…. what does House Speaker liar-Nancy Pulosi do? So it is quite ironic that commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez employs the language of the Holocaust in discussing open borders where illegals are coming in by the thousands... Not only does she besmirch the memory of those who were murdered for being Jewish, she displays an abysmal ignorance of the horror of the Holocaust. But she is emblematic of the fact that "two-thirds of American millennials surveyed in a recent poll cannot identify what Auschwitz is." Thus, "according to a study released on Holocaust Remembrance Day... knowledge of the genocide that killed 6 million Jews during World War II is not robust among American adults." And this lack of education is not limited to America. So this historically ignorant woman bandies words like concentration camps with zero comprehension of what she is saying. The abuse of language and the distortion of historical events is standard operating practice among Leftists, who simply do not care about facts and credible sources as they clamor for illegal aliens to flood our borders to shore up their own political base. For if they are truly troubled about victims, they are strangely mute when it comes to speaking on behalf of the Yazidis and the Christians who are being slaughtered by Muslims throughout the world. But these beleaguered groups do not advance the Left's agenda of destroying America. I refuse to use the acronym commie-AOC since it elevates this woman's status. The photo-ops of commie-Ocasio-Cortez's faux anger and angst camouflage her true nature. The drama queen claims to be "the boss" as she displays her craven arrogance. She ignores that these illegals are choosing to come to America -- whereas Jews and others deemed "unfit to live" were rounded up by the Nazis and herded into concentration/extermination camps where they were slaves and ultimately gassed and burnt. But as Kevin D. Williamson has written "the Jews can be whatever their enemies need them to be." Her declining to visit Auschwitz with an elderly Holocaust survivor proves that (a) commie-Ocasio-Cortez knows she is fabricating lies when she makes a comparison to what is going on with the illegals and the concentration camps; (b) she has no interest in ameliorating the situation since her time at the border was merely another publicity opportunity; (c) she is only too happy to create "a hostile political environment and nurture Holocaust denial and reinforce the anti-Semitic tropes freely peppered by her fellow Democratic Congresswoman worthless-Ilhan Omar."....

{ dailycaller.com } ~ Every major Democratic presidential candidate is scheduled to make an appearance at an AARP-sponsored health care forums in Iowa in July... yet many of them stand for dismantling the health care insurance system that AARP and its partners rely on. Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth dinky-Warren and Medicare for all architect Independent Vermont Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders are a few of the names that want to make health insurance companies all but obsolete.The senior-focused health care forum comes as some 2020 Democrats are distancing themselves from their previous pro-Medicare for all stances. For example, California Sen. lowlife-Kamala Harris has been accused of backtracking after saying she does not support eliminating private health insurance following the first round of Democratic debates. She was one of Medicare for all’s original backers in 2017. lowlife-Harris is set to speak at the Tuesday afternoon forum in Davenport, Iowa. AARP is holding the forums to “help older Americans make their own decisions come Election Day,” an AARP spokesperson told the Daily Caller News Foundation in an email Monday. “AARP has a proud 33-year history of non-partisan voter engagement, providing voters with information on where the candidates stand on issues important to older voters and their families, like reducing out-of-control prescription drug prices. AARP has invited President Trump to share his views with AARP members ahead of the general election, as well,” the AARP spokesperson said in an email....
Democrats Hold a Terrible Hand of Race Cards

{ americanthinker.com } ~ Name calling is the last refuge for one losing an argument. Much like a roundhouse punch that hits nothing but air, it’s a final effort in a losing fight... But it’s also been the one reliable punch for Democrats, playing the race card against opponents. Not so much now, however. Shouting, “You’re a racist!” has been the preferred comeback for Democrats on the losing side of an argument. Alternatives to the word racist include Nazi, bigot, fascist, homophobe, sexist, and so on, but racist has the best quick jab-like sting. Sometimes name calling can fall flat, as in calling Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh a sexist or misogynist, as Democrats did in his confirmation hearings. In reality he is the first Supreme Court justice to hire an entirely female group of clerks, something even the “Notorious RBG,” hero of the left, hasn’t done. Speaker liar-Nancy Pulosi is the latest Democrat finding herself holding a bad hand of race cards. Cards dealt by none other than the de facto Speaker of the House commie-Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Here we all thought liar-Pulosi was the face of liberalism, properly progressive on everything from abortion and taxes to global warming and immigration. Yet liar-Pulosi is not woke enough for “the squad”, four freshmen representatives representing the communist wing of an already far left Democrat party. Facebook: More Government Censorship

{ gatestoneinstitute.org } ~ It is often argued that Facebook is a private enterprise and therefore free to censor whatever it wishes... However, Facebook and the other internet giants, such as Google, YouTube a subsidiary of Google, and Twitter, have come to control the flow of information on the internet, to such a degree – as virtual monopolies -- that they have become the 'public square' of our times. That outcome makes them far more than merely private enterprises and endows them with a special responsibility: Those who cannot publish on Facebook or Twitter, effectively no longer have full freedom of speech. Governments have always known that free speech can be controlled on social media -- there is no internet freedom in countries such as China or Russia. For years, however, Western governments have also been controlling the conduct of free speech on the internet – in the name of fighting supposed 'hate speech'. Controlling free speech has taken the form of 'cooperating' with the internet giants -- Facebook, Google, Twitter and You Tube -- on voluntary initiatives such as the EU "Code of Conduct on countering illegal online hate speech online", which requires social media giants to act as censors on behalf of the European Union and to remove within 24 hours content that is regarded as "illegal hate speech". This control of free speech has also brought about national legislation, such as Germany's censorship law, in 2018. This law requires social media platforms to delete or block any alleged online "criminal offenses", such as libel, slander, defamation or incitement, within 24 hours of receipt of a user complaint. If the platforms fail to do so, the German government can fine them up to 50 million euros for failing to comply with the law. Two new initiatives look likely to intensify government censorship on the internet. In France, a recent government report about Facebook, commissioned by President Emmanuel Macron, has called for increasing government oversight over the social media giant. This new 'oversight' includes allowing an "independent regulator" to police how Facebook deals with alleged hate speech. The report has also called for laws allowing the French government to investigate and fine social networks that "don't take responsibility" for the content published by users on their websites. As part of writing the report, French regulators who spent six months inside Facebook, monitoring its policies, concluded, "The inadequacy and lack of credibility in the self-regulatory approach adopted by the largest platforms justify public intervention to make them more responsible"....

The plan comes ahead of a single-payer health plan speech by Sen. commie-Bernie Sanders (I-VT) scheduled for Wednesday. loose lips liar-Biden’s plan includes several noteworthy omissions. For instance, it does not include any reference to health coverage for foreign citizens illegally present in the United States. That exclusion seems rather surprising, given both Democrats’ embrace of health benefits for those unlawfully present in last month’s debate, and loose lips liar-Biden’s repeated references to the issue. Campaign staff told Politico that they would allow illegal immigrants to purchase scumbag/liar-nObamacare exchange coverage without access to federal subsidies, but loose lips liar-Biden’s website contains not a word about that concept—an implicit admission that using taxpayer dollars to subsidize health care for those unlawfully present holds less popular appeal than liberal Democrats first thought. loose lips liar-Biden said later on Monday that illegally present foreign citizens should have access to “public health clinics if they’re sick,” but not health insurance. He also claimed that last month’s debate format did not give him enough time to explain his position. Overall, however, loose lips liar-Biden’s plan includes many similarities to commie-Sanders’. While both commie-Sanders and loose lips liar-Biden want to draw contrasts on health care—commie-Sanders to attack loose lips liar-Biden as beholden to corporate interests, and loose lips liar-Biden to attack commie-Sanders for wanting to demolish scumbag/liar-nObamacare—their plans contain far more similarities than differences. commie-Sanders’ bill would, as the American people have gradually learned this year, make private insurance “unlawful,” taking coverage away from approximately 300 million Americans. loose lips liar-Biden’s plan specifically attacks single payer on this count, for “starting from scratch and getting rid of private insurance.”...Losing Coverage - More Spending - Price Controls and Regulations.

{tommclaughlin.blogspot.com} ~ This weekly column pleases some and annoys others. One of the newspapers in which it runs editorialized years ago that people either love it or hate it. Last week’s edition featured a letter from Connecticut residents who summer in Casco, Maine and describing my columns as “filled with vitriol and hate.” The writers threatened to cancel their subscription should the columns continue to appear. This week, a letter from a local woman appeared declaring the columns to be a “breath of fresh air.” She sends them to friends in Connecticut who “enjoy my approach on state and national issues.”
