Ms. Blasey-Ford Attorney Casts Doubt on Appearance
by sundance
{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ As of last weekend sketchy DC political lawyer Michael Bromwich, joined the legal team to represent the political interests of sketchy Kavanaugh accuser Ms. Christine Blasey-Ford... Mr. Bromwich sends a letter tonight beginning to back-away from his clients prior agreement to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. This latest development is entirely predictable. How can sketchy Ms. Ford deliver credible testimony about a 36-year-old event at an unknown time and unknown location where there is ZERO corroborating evidence supporting her claim, and mountains of evidence refuting her claim? Five teenagers at a house party, yet all of the five say not their house. Additionally, every witness she identified as present during the event has gone on record denying any knowledge of anything within the foundation of her claim. How can she testify? She can’t. Ms. Ford cannot testify because there’s no truth in her sketchy accusations; this was a political stunt with no intention of testimony. So, with a deadline looming it is more likely her political lawyers will try to extricate Ford from their prior commitments... Its a sham..Cotton Calls for a Vote Citing dummycrats-Dems
Character Assassination of Kavanaugh
{ dailycaller.com } ~ Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas accused senatorial dummycrats-Democrats on Monday of smearing Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s character... in order to further delay his confirmation to the Supreme Court. “The dummycrats-Democrats are engaged in a campaign of delay and character assassination against Judge Kavanaugh,” Cotton tweeted. “It’s time to vote this week.” Cotton’s comment was in response to the demands by multiple senate dummycrats-Democrats, including California Sen. Dianne Fein-stein, the Senate Judiciary Committee’s ranking dummycrats- Democrat, to again postpone his confirmation hearing in light of a second accusation of sexual misconduct. Kavanaugh has vehemently denied both of the allegations. “This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen,” Kavanaugh said Sunday. “The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so. This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name.” Senate dummycrats-Democrats have been attempting to delay Kavanaugh’s hearing since before it commenced. During the weekend, Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag/clown-Schumer reportedly led a meeting with dummycrats- Democratic Senate Judiciary Committee members to coordinate a strategy for opposing the confirmation process.
.McConnell: Kavanaugh Will Receive a Vote in the Senate
{ freebeacon.com } ~ Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) said on Monday that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh will receive an up and down vote in the Senate... "I want to make it perfectly clear, Mr. President, Judge Kavanaugh will be voted on here on the Senate floor. Up or down, on the Senate floor, this fine nominee to the Supreme Court will receive a vote in this Senate, in the near future," McConnell said. Kavanaugh has faced two allegations of sexual misconduct that, according to the accusers, occurred decades ago. Christine Blasey Ford told the Washington Post that Kavanaugh, then a junior in high school, attacked her when they were at a party in Maryland in the early 1980s. The other allegation is from a woman named Deborah Ramirez who accused Kavanaugh of exposing himself at a dorm party during his freshmen year at Yale. Neither allegation has been corroborated, and Kavanaugh has issued strong denials to both. McConnell spoke out against Senate Judiciary Committee dummycrats-Democrats for obstructing and resisting Kavanaugh's nomination and using the allegations to "smear" Kavanaugh... https://freebeacon.com/politics/mcconnell-kavanaugh-will-receive-vote-senate/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=bad7d544b4-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_09_24_08_04_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-bad7d544b4-45611665
.Navy, Air Force Test Deploys 2,000-Pound Mine at Stand-off Range
by Ben Werner
{ news.usni.org } ~ A joint Navy and Air Force test successfully deployed a 2,000-pound shallow-water mine from altitude and at speed from outside a presumed enemy’s anti-aircraft range... a first for the U.S. military – during the recently completed Valiant Shield 2018 exercise. A U.S. Air Force B-52 bomber dropped the 2,000-pound Quickstrike-extended range (ER) mine into the water near the Northern Marianas, and the mine was directed into position by a Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) kit, according to a U.S. Pacific Fleet statement. A Navy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft monitored the test to collect data, and Navy divers recovered the inert mine afterward. “Quickstrike mines in the past were dropped by just gravity weapons. So the B-52 or other bombers had to be low to meet their accuracy,” Air Force Capt. Craig Quinnett, the Quickstrike’s B-52 test lead, said in a video of the test released by the Air Force. “So now with JDAM and the Quickstrike ER, this gives us the ability to deploy precision mines, so we can stand off, put these weapons exactly where we know they’re going to go, so we don’t have to get in, get low next to the enemy’s weapons. So the Quickstrike-ER is a huge step forward for the naval mines.” Laying mines from the air is not new for the Navy and Air Force. The problem with older mines, though, is that accurately placing them in the water required bombers to fly low and slow, often making several passes over what could be a heavily defended target area, according to U.S. Indo-Pacific Command officials in a news release....
U.S. Urged to Rapidly Prepare for Electromagnetic Pulse Attack
{ freebeacon.com } ~ The United States is vulnerable to a devastating electromagnetic pulse event caused by a high-altitude nuclear blast or solar superstorm, according to a recently published book... Peter Pry, a former CIA analyst and author of the book EMP Manhattan Project, is urging the government to rapidly harden the U.S. electric power system against EMP similar to the three-year crash program to build the first atomic bomb in 1942. "Today the United States and the world faces another existential threat—from an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) catastrophe that can be caused by nature or man, and topple the technological pillars of modern electronic civilization," said Pry, who served on a congressional EMP commission in the early 2000s. The book contains fresh assessments of the EMP threat produced by a more recent congressional commission last year that concluded the United States would suffer millions of deaths from a major EMP incident... https://freebeacon.com/national-security/u-s-urged-rapidly-prepare-electromagnetic-pulse-attack/?utm_source=Freedom+Mail&utm_campaign=bad7d544b4-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_09_24_08_04_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_b5e6e0e9ea-bad7d544b4-45611665
.The Abortion Debate
by Tom Mclaughlin
At the Kavanaugh hearing { tommclaughlin.blogspot.com } ~ “Are you planning to debate abortion in class?” asked our new principal. We were standing in the hallway near my classroom in the early1980s. “Yes,” I said. “Don’t,” she said. “Why not?” “Because…” She paused, seeming surprised that I would question her. “Because eighth graders are too young to discuss it.” |
“Eighth graders aren’t mature enough to debate abortion,” she insisted.
“Hmm,” I said. “But some eighth graders have abortions. Did you know that?”
“Yes,” she said, breaking eye contact and shuffling a bit.
“If they’re old enough to have abortions they’re old enough to discuss them, don’t you think?”
That plainly worded definition is typical of 14-year-olds. They’re refreshingly direct. Every year, in every class, the first student I called on would define abortion in almost exactly the same way.
“Does everyone agree with that definition?” I’d ask.
Then I’d ask how a pro-choice person would define abortion. Students would ponder what I said and offer suggestions like: “It’s when a woman finds out she’s pregnant and doesn’t want to be, so she goes to a doctor and he takes it out.”
At the Kavanaugh hearings |
“Not bad,” I’d say. Eventually, I’d get one that sounded just like something out of NARAL literature, such as: “When a woman terminates her pregnancy,” which I’d also write on the board.
Often a student would ask my opinion at this point and I’d say, “I’ll tell you after the debate is over.”
Students chose which side they wanted to argue. If there were too many on one side or the other, I’d try to even them up by challenging some to argue the opposite of what they believed. Some of my best students would usually offer to do so.
After that, I let them sit in their groups to prepare. My instructions were that they start recording their side’s strongest arguments on one list, then record their opponents’ strongest arguments on another. “Why do you want us to list our opponents’ arguments?” they’d ask.
“So you can prepare counter-arguments to use during the debate when they bring up those points,” I’d answer. “It’s what opposing lawyers would do in a courtroom. You need to research all sides of any issue. As someone said once: ‘You don’t fully understand your own side unless you understand your opponent’s.’”

being an adult at 15 is also troubling. why did she play around and get pregnant. It was her decision to get pregnant and she knew what she was doing. abortion is not the correct why to solve the mistake she took.
just thinking of a 15 yr old getting pregnant is horrendous but having an abortion is worse.
