The Banality of Evil 
The "banality of evil” became part of the cultural lexicon following the publication of German-born author Hannah Arendt's 1963 book "Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil." The book recounted the trial of Nazi Adolph Eichmann, who was chief of operations for the Gestapo-run Department for Jewish Affairs, and responsible for the deportation of three million Jews to extermination camps. Arendt hypothesized that people who carry out such barbarous crimes may not be inherently evil, but instead fairly ordinary individuals who simply accept the premises under which they operate.
For the last two weeks, our nation has been rocked by a series of videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) revealing that Planned Parenthood (PP) has been involved in the harvesting and selling of fetal organs. CMP has released four of what they say is a series of 12 undercover videos, and each one has been more disturbing than its predecessor. In a bombshell claim, CMP founder David Daleiden revealed to CNN that one of those videos depicts a meeting with top leaders from organ recipient company StemExpress, admitting "they sometimes get fully intact fetuses shipped to their laboratory from the abortion clinics they work with, and that could be prima facie evidence of born-alive infants. And so that’s why they’re trying to suppress that videotape and they’re very scared of it.”
Indeed, StemExpress sued to keep the video from going public, and they secured a temporary stay from Judge William Orrick, a California federal judge who raised $230,000 for Barack nObama. And, by the way, PP President Cecile Richards has visited the White House 39 times since 2009 — just to be clear how much nObama supports the abortion industry.
None of what the public has seen so far could be described as banal. Yet for the pro-abortionists and their supporters in government and the media, who ultimately convinced the Supreme Court to decide the entire nation must accept the premise of abortion on demand is an integral part of the auspices under which the nation must now operate, the act that has precipitated every bit of this descent into organ-harvesting darkness has become the essence of banality. -The Patriot Post

Hilly starts spending - Clinton, who is up 28 points in Iowa, and 15 points in New Hampshire, put out her first television ads late Sunday night in the early states. Both ads center on her mother, Dorothy, who was abandoned as a child and sent to live with relatives, Clinton says her mother’s story inspired her to run for office. Senate fails to advance Planned Parenthood defund effort
{foxnews.com} ~ The Senate failed Monday to advance a Republican-led measure to halt federal aid to Planned Parenthood... but leaders of the GOP-controlled chamber appear ready to continue the fight, galvanized by a series of unsettling videos about the group. The vote to bring debate on the bill was 53 against to 46 in favor. The measure had not been expected to get the 60 votes needed to move it toward a final vote because Republicans needed several “yeas” from Democrats, who largely support Planned Parenthood.

The family members say they’ve been given few details on why they’ve been detained for so long, despite being refugees from Middle East terror. Republicans oppose the deal by a huge 86-3% margin. The Iran deal’s dangerous precedent

Bolton} ~ Had anyone believed President nObama’s mantra that “all options are on the table” to deal with Iran’s nuclear weapons program, the Vienna agreement might have emerged less advantageously for Tehran... But no one took Mr. nObama’s threat of military force seriously — a credibility gap that Israel still fears and Iran still exploits. Even so, Vice President loose lips Joseph R. Despite its blasé confidence in the agreement, however, the nObama administration understands the near-certainty that Iran will break its word. The deal’s entire structure turns on the issue of how to detect and handle breaches. If Iran is caught transgressing, Mr. nObama’s plan is not to use force, but to apply “snapback sanctions.” His administration has argued repeatedly that such sanctions (or even new sanctions) will deter or punish violations, keeping the deal on track and Iran clear of nuclear weapons. This rationale conforms to the underlying logic for the talks themselves: If sanctions brought Iran to the table, then sanctions will keep the deal viable once implementation begins.

The wall-to-wall Israeli condemnation of this crime has left me and other Palestinians not only ashamed, but also embarrassed -- because this is not how we Palestinians have been reacting to terror attacks against Jews -- even the despicable murder of Jewish children. Our response has, in fact, brought feelings of disgrace and dishonor. While the Israeli prime minister, president and other officials were quick strongly to condemn the murder of Dawabsha, our leaders rarely denounce terror attacks against Jews. And when a Palestinian leader such as Mahmoud Abbas does issue a condemnation, it is often vague and equivocal.
