After Undermining Cuts, nObama Plans More Spending
Despite Republican budget cuts helping the nation boost its Index of Economic Freedom score, Barack nObama worked to make sequestration as painful as possible -- even though it was his idea in the first place. For example, he blamed the Republican budget for his drawdown of military strength to anemic levels. Not only that, an analysis of federal grants by Reuters and the Brookings Institution shows nObama funneling more money to states he won in 2012 than to states he didn't. On average, blue states saw their federal dole decline 25% while red states saw the payout slashed 40%. As Congress banned the practice of earmarking funds, the executive branch picked up that power. It's all been a strategy to further nObama's "middle-crush economics," as he's about to introduce a budget to Congress that lifts sequestration entirely. It's for the middle class, leftists like Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) argue: "Arbitrary cuts through sequestration never made sense, and House Democrats have consistently supported replacing them with a smarter, more balanced approach to long-term deficit reduction. What our country needs is a growing economy that works for all Americans, not just the wealthy few." But waging class warfare and then redistributing the loot on vote-buying schemes won't accomplish economic growth.  -The Patriot Post

CBO Says nObamaCare to Cost Less? Yeah, Right
Two projections about nObamaCare in the Congressional Budget Office's latest report will probably contradict each other. First came the breathless news that the government will spend 20% less than what the CBO first divined back in April. Now, the government is expected to spend $1.35 trillion from 2016 to 2025 -- $2 trillion in expenses offset by income from penalty payments and other tax revenue. Here's what CBS News has to say about it: "Consequently, the CBO reduced its 10-year cost estimate for nObamacare by $101 billion by making the following changes: It's predicting the government will spend $68 billion less on nObamacare subsidies, spend $59 billion more on Medicaid, and bring in $97 billion more in revenues from projected changes in employer-based coverage. Additionally, the CBO is projecting the government will spend $5 billion more due to changes in estimated penalty payments and certain taxes collected." In short, they are expecting businesses to pick up a larger portion of the nation's health care tab. But the CBO also says 10 million Americans will lose employer-provided insurance during that same period. With the track record the federal government has on nObamaCare promises, expect to see a revision soon.  -The Patriot Post

White House: Taliban 'Insurgents,' Not Terrorists
ABC News' Jonathan Karl wanted to know: What was the difference between the Bowe Bergdahl exchange with the Taliban and Jordan's attempted swap of prisoners with ISIL? When Karl brought the question up at a White House press conference, Deputy Press Secretary Eric Schultz responded that prisoner exchange is a "traditional end of conflict transaction." But then Schultz said, "I would also point out that the Taliban is an armed insurgency. ISIL is a terrorist group. So we don't make concessions to terrorist groups." So if the full brunt of the U.S. military is thrown against a terrorist organization, it legitimizes the organization in the eyes of the nObama administration? This is just another example of nObama playing verbal gymnastics, obfuscating his foreign policy. As political analyst Charles Krauthammer observed, the Taliban "slits throats, it attacks busses, it drives car bombs into markets, and it's not a terrorist group? Look, you can't parody this administration." Sad, but true. More...   -The Patriot Post

Narcissist in Chief Praises Himself 118 Times in Single Speech
Can you ever get tired of hearing yourself talk, much less making it all about you? Not if you're Barack nObama. The president made a stop in New Delhi this week to deliver a speech that was once again replete with personal pronouns. After analyzing the yawn-inducing remarks, Grabien reported, "Somehow in the span of just 33 minutes, nObama referenced himself 118 times." They added, "For those keeping score at home, that's 3.5 nObama references per minute." Whether he's demogugeing here at home, or proselytizing abroad, it's never about "We the People," as the beginning words of the U.S. Constitution make clear. It's about "I, Barack nObama." As if that weren't embarrassing enough, the man actually believes he's accomplished something.

Virginia Senate Defends Right to Bear Arms
The proposal to restrict the Second Amendment rights of Virginians backfired on Governor Terry McAuliffe when he watched his bills die in committee while measures granting greater gun freedom moved forward. McAuliffe announced in December gun control would be a cornerstone of his administration, such as renewing Virginia's expired law limiting handgun purchases to once a month. In what Philip Van Cleave, president of Virginia Citizens Defense League, called "an awesome day," the commonwealth's Senate Courts of Justice Committee rejected the governor's bills and instead approved bills that would allow Virginians to get a lifetime gun permit and carry on school grounds if school is not in session. While Charles Cooke says McAuliffe signing these bills has about as much chance as a donut before Michael Moore, Virginia's senate couldn't have sent a stronger message.  nObama loads taxes on the middle class. Again.
(Grover Norquist) - President nObama’s hour-long State of the Union address was a political speech cheerleading the major causes of the Left rather than a speech to Congress and the American people about governing in the next year or two...This is understandable. nObama was and is a good candidate. He has won the presidency twice. He has not been a good president. So he returns to what he does well: campaigning. So nObama’s first priority was, once again, to raise taxes on the American people. A total of $320 billion in new and higher taxes this time.       http://humanevents.com/2015/01/30/obama-loads-taxes-on-the-middle-class-again/

nObama Has Been Caught Again Welcoming The MB Into America
(americanoverlook.org) - If you’re like me, you don’t want to believe that nObama is in talks with Islamic extremists. But unfortunately, the facts show that he is not only talking with the Islamic Brotherhood, he’s helping them plan the takeover of Egypt...This week the State Department hosted a delegation from Egypt. Not from the of the country’s popular President al-Sisi’s administration but from the unpopular Islamic Brotherhood. But why would nObama invite these extremists into our government? The Islamic Brotherhood was giving the nObama Administration a status update on their plans to overthrow President al-Sisi’s government.       http://americanoverlook.org/2015/01/30/see-how-obama-has-just-been-caught-again-welcoming-the-muslim-brotherhood-into-america-with-open-arms/7/

Pedophilia, American Style: Legitimizing Child Rape
(Selwyn Duke) - Fast cars, fancy restaurants, opulent yachts, private planes — and child molestation. It’s not something that was ever featured on Robin Leach’s TV show Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous...but “pedophilia may be emerging as the characteristic sexual perversion of the American elite.” So says American Thinker assistant editor J.R. Dunn in a piece titled “Pedophilia and the American Future.” Dunn opens with an obvious story: that of billionaire hedge-fund manager Jeffrey Epstein, who beginning in 2008 served 13 months in prison for abusing and trafficking in underage girls. It was a slap on the wrist, say critics — facilitated by high-priced lawyers such as Alan Dershowitz and former Clinton special prosecutor Kenneth Starr — for a man who violated perhaps hundreds of minors and could have served life in prison.       http://www.thenewamerican.com/culture/item/20017-pedophilia-american-style-legitimizing-child-rape?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=facebook

Admirals, generals: Pentagon tapes indict Hilly
(Jerome R. Corsi) - Recordings of top Pentagon officials in 2011 strongly criticizing Hilly Clinton for leading a State Department “march to war” against Libyan dictator Muammar Gadhafi in 2011...and for working with the Muslim Brotherhood confirm the conclusions of the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi, according to members who spoke to WND. “The release of the Pentagon secret tapes by the Washington Times today validates the CCB interim report that the Libyan war was totally unnecessary, since it now has been validated that Gadhafi was willing to abdicate and that he had no intention of causing a humanitarian crisis, as promoted by Hilly’s State Department,” said Lyons, a former four-star admiral who served as the commander in chief of the U.S. Pacific and a founding member of the CCB. The CCB – comprised of 17 retired admirals and generals; former intelligence agents; active anti-terrorist experts; media specialists; and former congressmen – has been conducting its own investigation and working behind the scenes for the past year-and-a-half to ensure Congress uncovers the truth of what happened in Benghazi and holds people accountable.       http://www.wnd.com/2015/01/admirals-generals-pentagon-tapes-indict-hillary/

American “Islamic State” Commander Gets Some Really Bad News
(conservativetribune.com) - Abu Muhammad Al-Amriki, a commander of the Islamic State group who claimed to have been an American, has died...His precise cause of death was as yet undetermined, as was the legitimacy of his claims of U.S. citizenship. His name, Al-Amriki, means “American,” however. Global counter-terrorism consulting firm Flashpoint Intelligence confirmed to NBC reports of Al-Amriki’s demise from Islamic extremists “familiar with ISIS activities in Syria and Iraq.” Al-Amriki was reportedly a high-level commander with the Islamic State group who became better known to the world about a year ago when a video of him criticizing Syrian Al Qaeda militants surfaced.       http://conservativetribune.com/american-islamic-state-bad-news/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=FeedBlitzEmail&utm_content=936184&utm_campaign=0

Proof: Iran's missiles destined for Eastern Seaboard?
(Michael F. Haverluck) - It is now known that a 90-foot missile created by the Islamic Republic of Iran is well on its way to hit the skies in the near future on an intercontinental flight across the Atlantic...information that was made available thanks to satellite footage recently captured by Israel's Eros-B satellite. An on-the-ground source based in Jerusalem, Israel — Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) News Middle East bureau chief Chris Mitchell — says it is just a matter of time before this weapon of mass destruction will be unleashed from an area not far from Iran's capital.       http://www.onenewsnow.com/national-security/2015/01/30/proof-is-in-the-footage-irans-missiles-destined-for-eastern-seaboard#.VM1IicJ00zt

Qaddafi was willing to step down peacefully but Hilly prevented it
(James Simpson) - The Citizens Commission on Benghazi revealed last year that Qaddafi was willing to step down peacefully and was in negotiations with the U.S. Government, but those negotiations ceased...AIM’s Roger Aronoff quotes their findings, “Despite the willingness of both AFRICOM Commander Gen. Carter Ham and Muammar Qaddafi to pursue the possibility of truce talks, permission was not given to Gen. Ham from his chain of command in the Pentagon and the window of opportunity closed.” The Washington Times has revealed that Hilly Clinton stepped in to quash the discussions. She would have never done this without nObama’s express permission. Now why, I ask you, would two diehard liberals dedicated to “world peace” for their entire lives miss a perfect opportunity to avoid a civil war? Was it a blood lust desire to see Qaddafi murdered by revolutionaries as payback for Pan Am 103? Nothing of the sort. nObama has shown himself more than willing to shed American blood when it serves no useful purpose. If America has something to gain, only then will he back off.      http://noisyroom.net/blog/2015/01/31/qaddafi-was-willing-to-step-down-peacefully-but-hillary-prevented-it/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Noisyroomnet+%28NoisyRoom.net%29

Judge Jeanine "Mr. President Do You Make This Stuff Up
(Rick Wells) - Judge Pirro starts out by asking what was the point of releasing the Gitmo terrorists in the first place. She plays a clip of Hussein nObama from June of 2014 in which he is defending the Gitmo Bergdahl swap...stating that he wouldn’t be doing it if he thought it was a threat to national security. That is a claim that the facts as well as his history don’t support.  Jay Carney, Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton join the chorus, all of them telling the American people to just move along, that there’s no problem with the deal. She points to the extreme absurdity that we would accept taking up yoga and supposed plans to start a farm as some sort of evidence of a repudiation of terrorism by the detainees. We knew it was nonsense then and our suspicions are now proven to have been correct with the news that one of the Gitmo five has already begun his renewed terrorist activities while in Qatar under house arrest.       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmJH43sWd_0&x-yt-cl=85114404&x-yt-ts=1422579428

New DHS Initiative Wasting Money, Reducing Border Security
(Rick Wells) - Hussein nObama, Jeh Johnson and the other regime insiders who are deliberately allowing our borders to be violated in every manner imaginable to their very creative minds...habitually make the false claim that the border is more secure than it’s ever been and that they are making huge investments in border security. Investments in the language of corrupt politicians, most notably corrupt Democrats, are defined as throwing money wastefully or otherwise at a problem irrespective of its efficacy or the results. John Gihon, a former ICE attorney speaks out against a patent abuse of trust among the many such instances in a new DHS directive which requires Border Patrol Agents to conduct field interviews of illegal border crossers which are apprehended in the act of crossing into the United States to determine whether or not they are eligible for Hussein nObama’s illegal amnesty. Never mind that a condition that was written into the illegal action was that people had to be residing continuously in the United States prior to January of 2014, Jeh Johnson has our Border Patrol Officers screening those seen crossing over for eligibility.     http://www.rickwells.us/former-ice-attorney-new-dhs-initiative-wasting-money-reducing-border-security-enforcement/

Bill O'Reilly Discusses Immigrants Taking American Jobs
(Rick Wells) - It’s a difficult and alarming fact to accept, but Steven Camarota, the Director of Research for the Center For Immigration Studies has the numbers to back up his claims...and those numbers were produced in large part by the federal government’s own Bureau of Labor Statistics. Camarota details how there are roughly 2 million more immigrants working now than there was in the year 2000 and there are 1.5 million fewer American-born citizens working. He says those statistics indicate that what job growth there has been has seen all of the net jobs go to immigrants, both legal and illegal.       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMu7_83qbas&x-yt-cl=85114404&x-yt-ts=1422579428
Looking Away from Europe’s Muslim Problem
Theodore Dalrymple

(city-journal.org) - Steven Emerson, the expert on terrorism, has caused a sigh of relief among the bien pensants of the Western world. By making inaccurate and false claims on Fox News, he has enabled them to pour righteous scorn on him and thereby avoid thinking about uncomfortable social realities.

Emerson claimed that Birmingham, the second-largest city in Britain, was “totally” Muslim. In the last census, in 2011, 21.8 percent of the city’s inhabitants said that they were Muslim. This percentage is likely to rise because of higher birth rates among Muslims, immigration, and the departure of white Christians. Residents of Birmingham who identified themselves as “white British” declined by 11 percent between 2001 and 2011, while the “white Irish” declined by 33 percent. The proportion of Christians would have decreased further had it not been for the arrival of Eastern Europeans. Meanwhile, the Muslim Pakistani and Bangladeshi populations increased over those ten years by 40 and 50 percent, respectively, and the Arab population rose to 1 percent from zero percent. Whether this matters, whether it fills you with joy or apprehension, or leaves you indifferent, depends upon your political outlook—and perhaps on where you live.

Since ethnic and religious groups are not scattered evenly throughout Birmingham, moreover, the population in some areas is overwhelmingly Muslim. Emerson referred to some of these areas as “no-go zones.” White women report being verbally abused there, as sluts ex officio as it were, though it would not be true to say that any of the areas are truly “no-go.” One, for example, is notable for its profusion of small, cheap, and good restaurants, patronized by the rest of the population. No part of Birmingham is as cut off from the rest of the city as are some of the banlieues of Paris. Physical (if not social) mixing of populations is evident.

In Britain, Muslim populations like those in Birmingham have relatively poor educational attainment and high rates of youth unemployment, crime, and imprisonment. This is not likely the result of discrimination, because Hindus and Sikhs, present also in large numbers, have lower rates of youth unemployment than whites and much lower levels of crime than whites. The Sikhs have the second-highest average household wealth when such wealth is broken down by religious affiliation. Sikh households are richer than Christian ones; Muslim households are much poorer. The causes of this disparity are a matter of speculation, and of course, group characteristics don’t apply to every individual.

Because of their high rates of consanguineous marriage, Muslim children have relatively high rates of serious genetic conditions, about which a kind of omertà has long prevailed, though it is not uniquely medical. In my experience, school inspectors never inquire as to why Muslim girls go missing from school for long periods, though I have known white parents prosecuted because their refractory adolescent child failed to attend school as the law required for only short periods. The same kind of omertà was surely one reason for the shameful disregard shown by the police in Rotherham of the systematic sexual abuse of young white girls by Muslim men there—though whether the police were more afraid of Muslim reaction or accusations of racism in the liberal press is uncertain.

Forced marriage (very different from arranged marriage) is common among the Muslims, though it is difficult because of social secrecy to estimate just how common. Certainly I was able to recognize a pattern among my young Muslim female patients, down to the withholding of their passports when they returned “home” to Pakistan, aged between 15 and 20, to marry their first cousin in their “home” village. Resignation to their fate merged by degrees into consent; all of them knew of honor killings of young women such as themselves, which exerted the same psychological effect as lynching did on blacks in the American South.

Supposedly to placate Muslim sentiment, local authorities have sometimes agreed to or imposed measures worthy of an apartheid regime. For example, the Birmingham Central Library provided women-only tables, in practice for the use of Muslim women. I don’t know whether this gesture came in response to a request or was an anticipatory cringe; the argument in its favor would almost certainly have been that without such separate facilities Muslim women would not have been allowed by their males to use the library at all. It is unlikely that such an argument would have succeeded for any other religious or social group, and indeed it would have provoked feminist ire, in this case notably absent, presumably because of fear.

In France, the problems are both similar and different. France is de jure secular, Britain only de facto. This difference leads to opposing views on such matters as the wearing of the veil. The relative inflexibility of French labor laws virtually guarantees a higher unemployment rate, though not necessarily a lower income, among youth of the lowest social class. The geographical and social origins of most of France’s Muslims are different from those of Britain’s: North African rather than Indian subcontinental. Since the fate of immigrants depends on what they bring with them as well as their reception in their new country, and since Islam, whatever its claims, does not exhaust a people’s cultural characteristics, differences are only to be expected.

But similarities are also striking: for example, low levels of educational achievement and high rates of youth unemployment and crime (60 percent to 70 percent of French prisoners are Muslim, on some estimates, and this is unlikely to be the result of prejudice alone, even if such prejudice exists). These are not characteristic of other immigrant groups, for example the Vietnamese.

While some of the banlieues of Paris and other big cities are relatively cut off from their metropolises, as were the townships of South Africa, it would be an exaggeration to call them no-go areas—even if that is what some of the criminal youth would like them to be, so that they can get on with their domination and trafficking with more impunity than they already enjoy. Schools and other state or public institutions remain in these areas. The police and the fire brigade may sometimes be stoned by the grateful recipients of their services, but they are not totally absent. They are therefore not extra-territorial in the most literal sense. Other European countries—Belgium and Sweden, for example—have not dissimilar problems.

But of course the most worrying aspect of the situation is the attraction of jihadi ideology for young Muslims. It is impossible to gauge exactly the degree or strength of support for it: opinion surveys are all but useless. The least one can say, however, is that jihadism attracts both those with bright and dim futures, and according to official calculations, some 2,200 youthful jihadis from France, Britain, and Belgium alone have gone to Syria. This is a far more than sufficient pool of murderous religious ideologues to cause untold havoc in Europe.

By his inaccuracy, distortions, and exaggerations, however, Steven Emerson has provided a convenient and enjoyable distraction for his critics, an excuse for them to indulge in displacement activity, like mice that lick their paws when faced by a cat. It is easier to mock him than to suggest the correct way to deal with the threat of Islamism. It is easier and more fun for the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, to sue Fox News (for what, exactly?) than to improve life in the largely Muslim banlieue of Clichy-sous-Bois. Here is a resident’s testimonial to that suburb of Hidalgo’s city: “A piece of advice: come armed! What I like about Clichy-sous-Bois? No need to look for public toilets. They are under the sky, in the buildings. What don’t I like about Clichy-sous-Bois? What can I say . . . No, it would take too long. I’m going to vomit.”
