Masculinity: Being a Man in a 'Pajama Boy' Age
Michael Swartz: One of the enduring symbols of the liar-nObama years may be that of the "pajama boy." In an effort to get younger people to sign up for health insurance, in December 2013 Organizing for Action tweeted out the now-infamous photo of a young hipster with the caption, "Wear pajamas. Drink hot chocolate. Talk about getting health insurance." Whether it was a present-day indication or a sign of things to come, college-age men are now told about "toxic masculinity" and warned that "the 'three most destructive' words a boy can hear growing up are 'be a man.'" In terms of biology, boys have little choice but to become men, but their behavior as such is influenced by their culture and role models.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, we were told that it was time for the first female president to break the "glass ceiling" men had created. liar-Hillary Clinton was even set up with a heel suitable for a WWE event: an opponent in Donald Trump who made headlines from decade-old remarks about his prowess in grabbing women he desired as sexual objects — remarks that were kept on ice by the Leftmedia until they could be released to devastating effect as an October surprise.
Intentionally or not, Trump has fit himself into one of the primary stereotypes Hollywood has created for male characters — that of the boorish, bigoted cad with little redeeming social value. He's an even less sympathetic version of Archie Bunker. When leftist Norman Lear created spinoff shows from the popular "All in the Family," he also created similar male characters like Walter Findlay (husband of "Maude") and George Jefferson. "Seinfeld" had a different take on this with Frank Costanza, George's dad.
From that style of behavior, we go to another Hollywood favorite: the incompetent dad who screws everything up, leaving the female lead to solve the problems. (Think Ray Barone of "Everybody Loves Raymond," Homer Simpson or "Family Guy" Peter Griffin.) Another variation of this: the complete loser. (Think Al Bundy of the '80s sitcom "Married With Children.")
A second media creation about how to "be a man" comes from the hardcore rappers who endlessly work out rhymes that call women some equivalent of the b-word or another that rhymes with "so." (Some raunchy female artists do this, too, and then richly complain about objectification of women.) Over the years that mentality has led to millions of children born to unwed mothers who have no father in their life — meanwhile, the "baby daddy" may have several other children by multiple women. It's the virility of being "macho" but without the virtues of decency, maturity or responsibility.
With these portrayals of fatherhood, it's obvious our mass media celebrates an era of "girl power" that leaves younger boys as afterthoughts bereft of good role models. They can't even pretend to be a good male Disney character anymore — the media giant hardly crafts such male role models any more.
To be an acceptable man in our culture is to have those elements as a beta male, allowing yourself to get in touch with your feelings. Being a strong male — not necessarily the John Wayne caricature, but simply a man with the mental and physical strength to be a provider, husband, family leader and thoughtful Patriot — is now frowned upon, to the lament of those who recall a time when men weren't so "vulnerable."
Good male role models are a requirement, though, for a boy to have the best chance at leading a happy, fulfilling life. Yes, boys can have a strong single mother and succeed — and millions have done so despite the odds being against them. But in our worldly base of knowledge that shakes its fist at tradition and insists that an enlightened few know better, we've devolved to living like the pajama boy.
Changing that requires much more than a new president. It requires looking past those emasculating "experts" who would tell our boys how to be men and finding good role models and mentors who do it the right way every day. Fortunately, such role models are still out there — if we would only look for them.

American Warships Fire Warning
Shots At Iranian Vessels
by  Seth Connell
{blabber.buzz/politics} ~ The incident, which occurred Sunday and was first reported by Reuters, comes as U.S. President-elect Donald Trump prepares to take office on Jan. 20... In September, Trump vowed that any Iranian vessels that harass the U.S. Navy in the Gulf would be “shot out of the water.” The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the USS Mahan established radio communication with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps boats but they did not respond to requests to slow down and continued asking the Mahan questions. The Navy destroyer fired warning flares and a U.S. Navy helicopter also dropped a smoke float before the warning shots were fired...  http://blabber.buzz/politics/76338-american-warships-fire-warning-s...

How dare Mr. Trump win the election!

 by Sher Zieve
{renewamerica.com} ~ With acknowledgement and thanks for the musical Evita: "Oh, what a circus...oh, what a show! The Leftists have gone to town over the political death of a woman called liar-Hillary Clinton... They've all gone crazy...protesting at night crying all of the way and falling all over themselves to end Trump's Inaugural Day!" How arrogant of Donald J. Trump to have run against this woman...and won! Why...why...it's misogynistic for him to have not let her win and means that he's a racist anti-Semite woman hater who beats his wife and small animals!!! Doesn't make sense...right? Then again, when did leftists ever make sense? This is, however, what they're saying and backing up with all manner of violence against those supposed white voters for Trump. Their latest egregious act was kidnapping, attacking and terrorizing a mentally challenged teen for 2 days. These people are our enemies...not soon-to-be President Donald J. Trump...  http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/zieve/170109

liar-nObama Quietly Hiring
New OFA Staff to Fight Trump
by Daniel Greenfield
{frontpagemag.com} ~ In his post-election conference call with his OFA troops, liar-nObama told them, “I’m giving you like a week and a half to get over it”. Then it would be time to “move forward not only to protect what we’ve accomplished, but also to see this as an opportunity”... liar-nObama is not a conventional politician. He’s an organizer and a campaigner at the vanguard of a radical movement that seeks to control traditional institutions, but doesn’t feel bound by them. Unlike Bill liar-Clinton, his plans don’t begin and end with the White House. As an organizer, liar-nObama is equipped to build bases of power outside traditional institutions. And that is exactly what he is doing. While the leftist rioters in the streets are garnering the most attention, the real threat comes from the network of staffers dubbed liar-nObama Anonymous which are beginning to organize and coordinate. OFA is liar-nObama’s equivalent of the liar-Clinton Foundation. The liar-Clintons built liar-Clintonworld around staffers, but its goal was harvesting money. liar-nObama Inc. is being built around organizing and activism...  http://www.frontpagemag.com/point/265412/obama-quietly-hiring-new-ofa-staff-fight-trump-daniel-greenfield

liar-nObama Agrees to Let Iran Have
Enough Uranium to Make 10 Nuclear Bombs
by Daniel Greenfield
{frontpagemag.com} ~ Democrats are throwing accusations involving "Russia" and "Treason" often enough these days. But they don't have much to say when liar-nObama perpetrates actual treason... Global powers, including the United States, have reached an agreement to provide Iran with nearly 130 tons of uranium—which experts believe would be enough to make 10 nuclear bombs. Two diplomats involved with the deal told the Associated Press that the so-called P5+1 powers agreed to the transfer of Russian natural uranium in exchange for 44 tons of “heavy water” nuclear runoff, which Iran has already sent to Russia after it created more than was allowed under last year’s nuclear deal. That shipment to Russia involved the second time that Iran exceeded its heavy water limit; it shipped excess heavy water to Oman last year...This is TREASON.

FBI Warned liar-Clinton Emails Were Vulnerable To ‘Foreign Government Espionage’ In 2015
by Richard Pollock
{dailycaller.com} ~ FBI counter-terrorism officials warned in the summer of 2015 that former Secretary of State liar-Hillary Clinton doing official business on her home email system potentially compromised national security... according to new 300 pages of new evidence released late Sunday. The warnings came even as liar-Clinton — by then heavily favored to win the Democratic presidential nomination — casually dismissed any problems with the private email system in her New York mansion. Dramatic behind-the-scenes alarms were triggered by the liar-Clinton’s emails, a fact which is vividly depicted throughout the newly released documents...So she knew it all along and also the FBI.

When It’s Black on White Crime
the Left Goes Color Blind
by Pastor Michael Brown
{townhall.com} ~ Why is it that when whites engage in violent acts against blacks, many on the left assume that those criminal acts must be hate-based, but when the tables are turned and the violence is black on white, many on the left no longer see color, looking for any explanation other than racial hate? Why the double standard?

According to CNN’s Don Lemon, the horrific kidnapping and torture of a mentally disabled white man by a group of four blacks – who had the audacity and stupidity to air it on Facebook live –wasn’t really evil.

Responding to Matt Lewis, who had commented on the extreme “evil” nature of the crime, Lemon replied, “I don’t think it’s evil. I don’t think it’s evil. I think these are young people, and I think they have bad home training.”

Not evil? Seriously? Just young people with bad home training?

Lemon’s comment drew immediate scorn, including tweets like this: “Hey @donlemon was Dylan Roof evil? Or just the victim of bad home training?” Dylan Roof was the young white man who slaughtered 9 black parishioners during a church service in South Carolina.

Does anyone for a moment think that Lemon, who himself is black, would have reacted the same way had this been a horrific, white on black crime?

To be clear, I’m glad that white on black violence has been exposed in recent years thanks to cell phone cameras, and to the extent that whites specifically targeted blacks – as in the case of Dylan Roof – our outrage should be even more acute.

But why shouldn’t we be just as concerned with targeted black on white violence, as in the many examples of the infamous “knockout games”?

I understand that, in the eyes of many blacks, to reply immediately to the phrase “black lives matter” with the phrase “all lives matter” is to minimize the point they were making. But at what point can we say, “White lives matter too”? Why is that forbidden?

A recent anti-white, MTV video even mocked the idea that “blue lives matter,” since people aren’t blue. Tell that to the widows and orphans of the cops who were killed in cold blood while serving our country this year.

Being on talk radio, I’ve heard from many God-fearing, church-going, authority-honoring black callers who shared with me their stories of being racially profiled, of experiencing discrimination, of even fearing for their lives at times simply because they were black, and I don’t doubt their stories for a moment.

While flying home recently, I was upgraded to first class and sat next to a black gentleman who could have passed for a former or even current football player. As we talked, he told me he was the president of a university, holding a J.D. and a Ph.D. When we discussed the issue of discrimination, he shared with me the obstacles he had to overcome and how, to this day, when he sits in first class, people look at him like he’s sitting in the wrong place or else assume he must be an athlete. After all, why else would be a large black man be flying in first class?

So, to repeat, my intent here is not to minimize anti-black sentiment in America; my intent is to expose the hypocritical double standards, and this recent, ugly incident, has brought all this to the surface.

Remember that the torturers were yelling “f—k white people” and “f—k Trump” as they abused this young man, yet Democratic strategist Symone Sanders also black, appearing on the same discussion panel with Don Lemon, wasn’t sure it was a hate crime.

She said, “If we start going around and anytime someone says or does something egregious or bad and sickening in sense. In connection with the president-elect Donald Trump or even President liar-nObama for that matter because of their political leanings, that’s slippery territory. That is not a hate crime.”

I actually believe she has a point here, albeit a minor one, but again, it’s the double-standard and the hypocrisy that concern me, since this is the very thing we’ve been subjected to for the last 8 years, namely, assuming that white criticism of President liar-nObama must be race-based. Yet when it’s black on white hatred in conjunction with black-on-Trump hatred, we have to tread carefully lest we head into “slippery territory.”

To ask the obvious question, what would have Sanders have said if, two weeks before liar-nObama’s first inauguration, four young white people kidnapped and tortured a mentally disabled black person, shouting, “f—k black people” and “f—k liar-nObama”?

Wouldn’t hatred of liar-nObama equal hatred of blacks in the eyes of Sanders, and wouldn’t she quickly brand this a glaring example of a dangerous hate crime that could be a portent of worse things to come? For the record, within 24 hours of her statement quoted here, when pressed by Anderson Cooper, Sanders did acknowledge the kidnapping and torture as a hate crime, following the lead of the prosecutors.

For a glaring example of hypocrisy, right from the White House, what about the statement of Press Secretary Josh Earnest, when pressed by the media about whether this was a hate crime?

He would not answer directly, since he claimed he had not yet discussed it with the president and was waiting for official word from law enforcement, stressing how important it was for them to do come to their conclusions first. But this is the very thing that the liar-nObama administration has not done when controversial, white on black cases came to national attention.

To give one case in point, think back to the 2009 arrest of Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates, a black man, by police Sgt. James Crowley, a white man.

When asked about the incident at a news conference that week, President liar-nObama said, “I don't know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played.”

“But,” he added, “I think it's fair to say, No. 1, any of us would be pretty angry; No. 2, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home; and, No. 3 ... that there's a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately.”

Indeed, he stated, that the arrest shows “how race remains a factor in this society” – and to repeat, he said this without knowing the facts.

The charges against Gates were, in fact, dropped (he was trying to “break in” to his own house when a neighbor called to report the suspicious activity), but Sgt. Crowley had not acted stupidly, nor did the arrest have anything to do with race, which is one reason why President liar-nObama subsequently invited Gates and Crowley to have a beer with him and Vice President loose lips-Biden at the White House.

Yet when it comes to a heinous, black on white hate crime today, the White House doesn’t want to speak prematurely, wanting to let local law enforcement do its work.

After Earnest’s statement, President liar-nObama did refer to the kidnapping and torture as a “despicable” hate crime, and other black voices, like Montel Williams, denounced the crime in the strongest terms.

But the reaction of others, like Lemon and Sanders and Earnest, points to a larger issue, and it is one we can’t ignore.

As for Lemon’s contention that the kids were raised poorly, that may be true – although the grandmother who raised one of the accused kidnappers would strongly differ with that assessment – but plenty of people who commit evil acts were not raised well, and we don’t minimize their deeds because of their unfortunate upbringing. And, again, I doubt that Lemon would have made such an excuse had the racial tables been turned.

Of course, the whole category of “hate crimes” carries its own set of controversies, but that’s not the focus here. The focus is to expose left-wing, anti-white hypocrisy, and if we really care about justice, that means justice for all.

As for the black young people who committed this crime, while they deserve justice, I pray for their redemption as well, along with the physical and emotional recovery of the white young person who was abused.
