{ theconservativetreehouse.com } ~ John Solomon’s report on the FBI contacting Oleg Deripaska in September 2016 for help to structure a narrative of Russian involvement in the Trump Campaign via Paul Manafort... has multiple ramifications. Here’s some preliminary thoughts on the issue.  ♦In 2009 the FBI, then headed by Robert Mueller, requested the assistance of Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska in an operation to retrieve former FBI officer and CIA resource Robert Levinson who was captured in Iran two years earlier.  The agent assigned to engage Deripaska was Andrew McCabe; the primary FBI need was financing and operational support. Deripaska spent around $25 million and would have succeeded except the U.S. State Department, then headed by liar-Hillary Clinton, backed out.  ♦In September of 2016 Andrew McCabe is now Deputy Director of the FBI, when two FBI agents approached Deripaska in New York – again asking for his help. This time the FBI request was for Deripaska to outline Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort as a tool of the Kremlin. Deripaska once hired Manafort as a political adviser and invested money with him in a business venture that went bad. Deripaska sued Manafort, alleging he stole money. However, according to the article, despite Deripaska’s disposition toward Manafort he viewed the request as absurd. He laughed the FBI away, telling them: “You are trying to create something out of nothing.”....
Who Are the Real Warmongers?

{ americanthinker.com } ~ "Trump's decision yesterday brings us one step closer to that war you've dreamed about."... So wrote a leftist friend since college in an email he sent to me following President Trump's decision to abrogate former president liar-nObama's nuclear surrender to Iran called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. Although he didn't use the exact word, the term "warmonger" just about jumps off the page. It is an accusation frequently made by those on the left to attack those who believe that self-defense begins with recognizing real dangers and taking appropriate actions to neutralize them. But is it true? Are those who support the president's decision to assign the liar-nObama surrender to the wastebasket of history really warmongers? To answer that question, we need to look at the motives of those who support the termination of liar-nObama's surrender. Were they interested in militarily defeating Iran to replace it in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, then the motive, conquest, would certainly meet a common criterion of "warmonger." Were they interested in selling weapons to either or both sides for personal gain, they could well be called warmongers. But those who oppose liar-nObama's surrender to Iran are not motivated by such concerns...

{ dailycaller.com } ~ One of the Russian companies special counsel Robert Mueller accused of interfering in the 2016 presidential election... is asking a federal judge to determine if he is engaging in a sham criminal case. Foreign interference in the presidential election is a “make-believe crime,” Concord Management and Consulting said in a court filing Monday. The company argues the case is an example of Mueller attempting to “justify his own existence” by indicting “a Russian — any Russian.” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has “rejected the history and integrity of the DOJ and instead licensed a Special Counsel who for all practical political purposes cannot be fired, to indict a case that has absolutely nothing to do with any links or coordination between any candidate and the Russian Government,” Concord wrote in the court filing. Concord’s lawyers also petitioned the judge to review the instructions Mueller’s team gave the grand jury in securing the indictment...

{ dailycaller.com } ~ Congressional investigators are taking a fresh look at testimony provided in 2017 by Glenn Simpson... the founder of the opposition firm that commissioned the Steele dossier.  In particular, investigators are looking at Simpson’s claim in an Aug. 22 interview that he had learned from dossier author Christopher Steele that the FBI had corroborated parts of the dossier with information from a source within President Donald Trump’s campaign. Simpson, who runs Fusion GPS, told the panel that “a human source from inside the Trump organization” had provided information to the FBI that backed up some of the dossier. The person was “someone like us who decided to pick up the phone and report something,” he said...

Omar Mateen to Larry Nasser, Can the FBI be Fixed?

{ founderscode.com } ~ When agents fail 4 polygraphs and are still on the payroll with security clearance, is the FBI working well?... When agents create fake Facebook accounts to leak information, are things working well at the Bureau? When agents fail to stop Omar Mateen, the San Bernardino, California terrorist, are things broken at the FBI? What about the early complaints by parents to the FBI about the rapist/molester Larry Nasser and not getting a call for over a year? Conditions are the Bureau good? The Michael Horowitz Inspector General report is due at any time. What is unclear is how the FBI will be summarized and why? Was there a full mission change to find domestic terrorists over robbery cases? Did RICO cases get sidelined for the sake of sex traffickers or narcotic cases? Inspector General reports provide the reason for the investigation and the recommendations to cure the systems. Will that be the case when it comes to hacking over locating foreign spies in our country? Is crime in America so overwhelming that the FBI cannot keep pace and local law enforcement is lagging behind as well including the fact that technology is advancing such that cases should be easier?...

Demo Hypocrisy for Just $25

One of my recent emails from the Democrat Party included a link promoting their shop, which has about 40 items. Most of those items are, predictably, caustic, promoting what they are against rather than what they are for — for obvious reasons. But I came across this $25 baby onesie and was struck by the abject hypocrisy. How many babies will never wear this outfit because the Democrats ensured they would never be born?
Democrat identity politics are built on what they oppose, because if Americans actually understood what they support, and the future implications, the Party would collapse. If there is one generalization about about Democrat activists that universally holds true, it is that they are consummate hypocrites. This item tragically demonstrates that truth.   ~The Patriot Pos
