{ rickwells.us } ~ If anyone needed any more evidence that the Mueller “investigation” is a political witch hunt and nothing more... they need only listen to the words of the corrupt DOJ official who named his good friend and political comrade in arms to the predatory position, deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. In an interview published Monday in USA Today, the same day that the House Intelligence Committee ending their investigation with no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion ever being discovered, and with the same failure to find evidence in the almost year-long Mueller probe, Rosenstein declined to put a stop to the disruptive and treacherous nonsense. He stated he doesn’t believe “there is any justification” for ending the railroad fishing trip. After all, it’s just taxpayer money and Trump is a threat to the establishment. { lidblog.com } ~ I have to admit, over the weekend when I heard Vladimir Putin blame Russian Jews for interfering with the 2016 US presidential election... an uneasy chill ran down my spine. In an interview with Meghan Kelly Saturday night, Putin placed the election meddling blame on certain ethnic groups, including the Jews “Maybe they’re not even Russians,” he said. “Maybe they’re Ukrainians, Tatars, Jews, just with Russian citizenship. Even that needs to be checked. Maybe they have dual citizenship. Or maybe a green card. Maybe it was the Americans who paid them for this work. How do you know? I don’t know.” As an American Jew whose family immigrated to the United States from Russia and Ukraine, Putin’s words initially horrified me, but I now realize that the time to be horrified is over. { washingtonexaminer.com } ~ President Trump has fired Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and will nominate CIA Director Mike Pompeo to replace him... Trump announced via Twitter that Pompeo will do "a fantastic job," and that Gina Haspel will become the new CIA director. “I look forward to guiding the world’s finest diplomatic corps in formulating and executing the president’s foreign policy,” Pompeo said Tuesday in a statement released by the White House. The Washington Post reported Tuesday that Trump asked Tillerson to step aside on Friday, but other reports say the secretary of state learned the news over Twitter. Tillerson thus cut his trip to Africa short to return to Washington. { jpost.com } ~ US President Donald Trump unceremoniously fired his secretary of state, Rex Tillerson, on Tuesday morning... in part over "disagreements" on the Iran nuclear deal and amid a critical negotiation with Europe over its fate. Speaking to the press, Trump said that he had been mulling Tillerson's ouster for some time. "When you look at the Iran deal – I think it's terrible," he said. "I guess Tillerson thought it was okay. I wanted to either break it, or do something, and he felt a little bit differently. So we were not really thinking the same. With Mike Pompeo, we have a very similar thought process." Iron Eyes Lizzy Is 'Not Running' for President
by Nate Jackson: We’ve long teased Massachusetts Democrat Sen. Elizabeth dinky-Warren over her tenuous claims of Native American ancestry, calling her Sacaja-dinky-Warren and Fauxcahontas. Well, here’s a new one that may fit best of all: Iron Eyes Lizzy. Readers of a certain age will recall Iron Eyes Cody, the actor known for portraying Native Americans in numerous Hollywood films, as well as shedding a tear in one of the country’s most well-known television public service announcements, “Keep America Beautiful.” Well, Ole Iron Eyes was actually Espera Oscar de Corti, an Italian-American pretending to be an Indian — not just in commercials and movies but in real life. His ruse lasted until his half-sister outed him decades later, though he lied about it so long he may have actually convinced himself he was Indian. So you can see why that behavior fits dinky-Warren quite well. As we’ve noted, dinky-Warren has used this supposed ancestry for gain in both her academic and political careers. That continues to this day.
She’s back in the news this weekend after making the rounds to repeat her talking points on all the Sunday morning shows. Public service announcement: dinky-Warren is not running for president and she will not take a DNA test to prove her ancestral claims. “I’m not running for president,” dinky-Warren maintained, though she declined to commit to serving a full six-year Senate term if re-elected this November. Of her supposed heritage, she insisted, “I know who I am because of what my mother and my father told me. … It’s part of who I am and no one’s ever going to take that away.”
Her claims of ancestry and of not running in 2020 are equally believable. Which is to say, not at all. “I am not running for president” just means she hasn’t yet declared her candidacy, but she’ll be beating the class-warfare drums regardless. So just keep an eye out for that dinky-Warren 2020 Wigwam near you. ~The Patriot Post
