Among some of the violations that surrounded the project, Johnson pointed to "bank and wire fraud, and I discovered ties to organized crime and high-ranking politicians and they received promotions that appeared to facilitate the program." She also "discovered that EB-5 applicants from China, Russia, Pakistan, Malaysia had been approved in as little as 16 days" and that case files "lacked the basic and necessary law enforcement queries."

Instead, the majilis approved their own version of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), creating a situation where the Iranian government simply hasn’t signed on to the accord that nObama and Democratic Senators obligated the United States to uphold. The Middle East Media Research Center (MEMRI), a regional watchdog organization, has confirmed that Iran did not pass the deal agreed upon in July. They instead voted to pass the amended version by a vote of 161-59..

They are now taking their tired and clearly failed “government must pick winners and losers” message to a peculiar set of stakeholders: free-market conservatives... Recently, a new “grass-roots” organization was launched — Americans for Energy Security and Innovation — whose mission is to “rally conservatives around the renewable fuel standard,” according to one news report. Supporters of this failed energy policy are hitting repeat on the exact same playlist of intellectually questionable talking points that were used a decade ago when the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) was initially passed in 2005 and then expanded further in 2007..
What Do Palestinian Terrorists Want?
{Bassam Tawil} ~ During the past few days, I had occasion to visit the homes of some of the Palestinian men and women involved in the ongoing wave of terrorism against Israelis... the violence that some are calling an "intifada," or uprising. What I saw -- what you or anyone could see during these visits -- was that none of these Palestinians had suffered harsh lives. Their living conditions were anything but miserable. In fact, these murderers had been leading comfortable lives, with unlimited access to education and work. Four of the terrorists came from Jerusalem and, as permanent residents who had not applied for citizenship, held Israeli ID cards. Yitzhak Rabin was not the blind peace-maker that Politico describes
{Jeff Dunetz} ~ Eleven days from now will be Yitzhak Rabin’s 20th yartzeit, the anniversary of his death on the Hebrew calendar. Since his death twenty years ago, the myth of Rabin’s peacemaking expanded... While it is true that he was the Prime Minister who began the “Oslo Process, ” it is also true that Rabin’s final vision for the Oslo process was to the right of supposedly “hawkish” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Rabin did not support the creation of a Palestinian State, while Netanyahu does. Netanyahu agrees with Rabin that Jerusalem is the indivisible capital of the Jewish State . Rabin was not the “sacrifice everything for the sake of peace” type like the liberal media paints him. In fact Yitzchak Rabin was the last prime minister of Israel that did not support the creation of a Palestinian State. None of this is meant to denigrate the memory of the Israeli PM who was slaughtered 18 years ago, its more to show the true nature of the media like Mr. Ephron, and world leaders. They have taken upon themselves to recreate Rabin into something he was not. For many years, Rabin’s legacy was defined by the dreams of the peace process that he was engaged in with the Palestinians at the time of his murder. Whether this was what he would have wanted has been debated by his relatives and confidants, some of whom were aware of his growing doubts about the intentions of Yasser Arafat, who was already sabotaging the diplomatic process by ordering terrorist attacks before, during, and after the time of Rabin’s assassination. Bill Clinton have known that at the time of his death Rabin was ready to bail on the Oslo process.

And even though Saddam Hussein was widely viewed as a monster, nobody thought he’d been involved in the 9/11 operation, and Iraq and Iran were highly partners in anything, having recently ended their long and very bloody war.

He promised that the United States would not distinguish between the two groups. We would go after the terrorists and their sponsors and allies. That we did it badly-Iran, not Iraq, was the logical target after Afghanistan, and political warfare, not invasion, was the logical method-shouldn’t blind us to the fact that it was already clear in early 2002 that we had to deal with multiple threats, and we’d eventually have to defeat them all or face a grim future.
