Trump administration vows to continue 

fight after judge blocks asylum ban

{washingtonexaminer.com} ~ The Trump administration vowed Tuesday morning to continue its efforts to reform asylum policies in a way that makes illegal entrants ineligible to apply... but it is running out of time to do so before as many as 10,000 Central American migrants traveling as part of a caravan to the U.S. have begun arriving in Mexican towns just south of the border. The Departments of Justice and Homeland Security issued a joint statement Tuesday rebuking Judge Jon Tigar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California for his late Monday temporary restraining order that forces the government to continue considering requests for asylum from people who have been apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol for unlawfully entering the country. "It is lawful and appropriate that this discretionary benefit not be given to those who violate a lawful and tailored presidential proclamation aimed at controlling immigration in the national interest," DOJ spokesman Steven Stafford and DHS spokeswoman Katie Waldman said in a statement."And it is absurd that a set of advocacy groups can be found to have standing to sue to stop the entire federal government from acting so that illegal aliens can receive a government benefit to which they are not entitled," they added, referring to the American Civil Liberties Union and Southern Poverty Law Center. "We look forward to continuing to defend the executive branch's legitimate and well-reasoned exercise of its authority to address the crisis at our southern border.” Both department officials said a president has the legal right to amend immigration levels under the Immigration and Nationality Act...

Caravan of 'Migrants' - a Crisis

Decades in the Making

{frontpagemag.com} ~ Thousands of aspiring illegal aliens have marched their way up through Central America and Mexico and are closing in on the U.S./Mexican border... Some of these individuals have reportedly split off from the caravan and have managed to enter the United States without inspection. They have been encouraged to participate in this massive caravan by our own political “leaders” from both parties. Think about how frequently politicians from both particles have stated that since we cannot deport the millions of illegal aliens who are present in the United States, all we can do is to find a way to “get them out of the shadows” and provide them with lawful status. The Democrats insist on providing millions of illegal aliens with U.S. citizenship while the supposedly “tough” Republicans state that they will “only” provide them with lawful status and permission to work. So now the debate is over whether or not to provide illegal aliens with citizenship! That is one hell of an example of “bait and switch” foisted on America by the Democrats and the Republicans who are colluding with each other. Meanwhile a growing list of “Sanctuary Cities” and “Sanctuary States” promise to harbor and shield them from detection by ICE and even permit them to get driver’s licenses while illegal alien students are being offered incentives such as in-state tuition. Furthermore, as President Trump has stated, not all of them are citizens of Central American countries...  You are doing injustice to the American people.

Jim Clyburn’s qualifications for the No. 3 spot in the Democrat leadership are racist. Even before the midterms, sick-Pulosi was accusing critics of sexism. “I think some of is it a little bit on the sexist side," sick-Pulosi had complained about those who suggested that she might want to step back from her leadership position. "Nobody ever went up to Harry dinky-Reid and said that. Nobody ever says that to anybody except a woman." Unless they’re saying it to a black man. Rep. Jim Clyburn made his case for the No. 3 Dem position by accusing fellow Democrats of racism. “But someone came to me over the weekend and told me that, when I was whip before, I was a figurehead," he whined, and suggested that they were “the little dog whistles that have been floating around this side for a long time.”  “sick-Pulosi is swiftly moving to ensure that the diversity of voices that make up the majority are empowered on Capitol Hill,” Valerie Jarett gushed in a CNN op-ed.” It is imperative that women not only have a seat at a table but also lead the  table.”.Unless it’s more imperative that black people lead the table. Pick one and you’re sexist. Pick the other and you’re racist...

Florida Vote 2018: Criminal Investigations 

May Be Tip Of The Iceberg

{lidblog.com} ~ Reports this weekend indicate that the investigation of potential fraud by officials of the Florida Democratic Party... goes beyond a request for a probe by federal authorities. A tweet from USA Today Network reporter Ana Ceballos on 16 November said that Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s office also has a criminal investigation underway. The federal investigation was requested due to evidence that Democratic Party officials in the state had doctored the information on election forms and misrepresented to voters what the deadline was for “curing” mail-in ballots with discrepancies. Perhaps most egregious, there was evidence of voters being contacted after  election day about curing their ballots. Since the deadline for curing was 5 November, the day before election day, this activity was obviously improper. Moreover, as discussed previously, altering the deadline information on election forms showed clear intent to post ballots illegally. Democrats were  planning to submit ballots after the statutory deadline – and apparently assuming they would get away with it.  A Democratic Party official was quoted this past week suggesting they were “hoping” a judge would rule that ballots could be cured after the statutory deadline. They just wanted to be ready with cured ballots in case of such a ruling. Darned if they didn’t get the ruling they were hoping for from U.S. District Judge Mark Walker – see last link – an scumbag/liar-nObama appointee who in February 2018 struck down Florida’s procedure for *restoring* voter rights for felons, deeming it a form of unconstitutional disenfranchisement...  https://lidblog.com/florida-democratic-party/

Mexican Journalist Takes a Close Look at Caravan...

{westernjournal.com} ~ As you’ve no doubt heard by now, there is a large migrant caravan barreling towards America’s southern border... Anyone who cares about border security or keeping the sanctity of legal immigration intact is justifiably appalled by the caravan. Naturally, the liberal media clearly don’t care about either. That’s the most plausible explanation why they’ve so willingly ignored one of the latest stories to arise from the caravan.Conciencia Radio journalist Alex Backman, based in Tijuana, posted a chilling video where he recounted some of horrifying revelations about what was really happening with some of the people on the caravan. Some of his revelations paint a very vivid picture of what to expect if the far left were to get their way and have that caravan allowed into the country unabated. The migrants on the caravan are robbing and stealing. They are carjacking people. 'Nuke Americans Who Resist Gun Confiscation!'

Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is taking the lead on gun confiscation, beginning with what he calls “assault rifles.” You know — those extra dangerous rifles that he says are “more powerful and cause more carnage when used with a pistol-grip.” In an op-ed assault on the Second Amendment, Swalwell, not the brightest Democrat, proposed an Australian-type gun “buyback,” which sounds like a voluntary proposal … until he insists the government should “go after resisters” who don’t comply.

             When challenged that this was the first step toward total confiscation, Swalwell insisted, “Wrong. Just assault weapons. Keep rifles, shotguns, pistols. Basically, the weapons that allow you to hunt, shoot for sport, and protect your house.” By the Left’s definition, “assault weapons” include many semiautomatic rifles. And as with nearly all Democrats these days, Swalwell reduces the Second Amendment to nothing more than hunting and home protection. Why the Founders went to such great lengths to codify a right to hunt alongside such essential liberties as free speech, religious liberty, and due process is never explained.
               One of his critics fired back, “So basically @RepSwalwell wants a war. Because that’s what you would get.” Swalwell responded, “And it would be a short war my friend. The government has nukes.”
               That’s right — Swalwell suggested that if you don’t comply with a “voluntary” gun buyback, the government will nuke you. “Trust the government. But also, we’ll nuke you if you resist.”
               Memo to Eric: The first shots of the first American Revolution were fired when the British government attempted to seize arms in Concord, Massachusetts. And that IS the reason the Second Amendment was written into our Constitution — to guarantee the citizens’ right to defend against government tyranny. Nevertheless, Swalwell insists, “You claiming you need a gun to protect yourself against the government is ludicrous.” Says the guy who threatened to nuke American citizens.
               For the record, Swalwell is assuming our military would wage a war against the American people at his bidding. Think again. The first hill they will take if so ordered will be Capitol Hill.  ~The Patriot Post
