As new details emerge from Friday’s shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood abortion clinic much of the media focus has shifted to blaming Republicans and their unstinting opposition to federal funding for the organization. But Ben Domenech argues it won’t work: “And third — and this is where things get Alanis Morrissette chaotic Paladin-level ironic — this frame will not work because the media was so successful at squashing the very story they now cite as the source of [the shooter’s] rage: the series of undercover videos, which have depicted behind-the-scenes activities and conversations at Planned Parenthood facilities across the country and with their top ranking officials, showing them engaging in legally questionable and ethically vile behavior, even to the point of negotiating the sale of baby parts for profit.” -Fox News

As Secretary of State, Hilly Clinton welcomed donors to her party and her family’s foundation to use her office as a “sounding board for their interests,” according to State Department calendars. The AP describes: “[Clinton] met or spoke by phone with nearly 100 corporate executives and long-time Clinton political and charity donors during her four years at the State Department between 2009 and 2013, records show…Her availability to luminaries from politics, business and charity shows the extent to which her office became a sounding board for their interests. And her ties with so many familiar faces from those intersecting worlds were complicated by their lucrative financial largess and political support over the years -- even during her State Department tenure -- to her campaigns, her husband’s and to her family’s foundation.” -Fox News

{REP. DOUG LAMBORN} ~ After our nation was attacked on 9/11, tens of thousands of our fellow citizens stepped forward to answer the call of defending and protecting freedom and liberty... These brave men and women served in dangerous combat settings and continue to be let down by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Thanks to the actions of a courageous whistleblower, it appears as though the VA — through either indifference or incompetence — is keeping promised benefits from service members. Tens of thousands of combat veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan are being denied enrollment in VA health care because of a computer glitch VA has known about for seven months and failed to fix. Compassionate, thoughtful people everywhere should be appalled by this shameful state of affairs, I know I am. How can the VA, an organization filled with honorable veterans, permit this to take place? In fact, there are reportedly 48 high-risk, ISIS-linked suspects in America and the FBI has sent out elite mobile surveillance teams to hunt them down. {Jeff Dunetz} ~ Sixty-eight years ago today by a vote of 33 to 13 (plus 10 abstentions including the cowardly U.K.) the United Nations passed Resolution 181, the partition resolution calling for dividing Palestine into Independent Arab and Jewish states... (Yes the UN said it was to be a Jewish state). Despite being the treated as the scapegoat for all the world’s problems, Israel has spent much of the past 68 years as the Middle East version of Reagan’s shining city upon the hill, that may be one of the reasons she is hated so much by so many people (including the present U.S. president): Diane Steinman wrote the words above eight years ago on 60th anniversary. nObama has done more damage to border security than any Pres
{Jeff Dunetz} ~ This President has done more to damage the effort to control who comes in and out of the country than any other President in recent history... He canceled the effort to build a security fence, he canceled the development of promising software, which would track non-citizens who came into and out of the country, and through his first term he has deported fewer illegals than any president since Richard Nixon (yes and I will prove it). And in his second term, nObama went beyond his constitutional powers and announce the granting of amnesty for anywhere from 4-6 million illegal aliens. Lets start with the fence on our southern border. The last time nObama was given authority to enact a border security bill, he changed it. The Secure Fence Act was introduced on Sep. 13, 2006 by Rep Peter King (R-NY) and passed Congress on a bi-partisan basis. In the House of Representatives, the Fence Act passed 283 -138 on September 14, 2006. On September 29, 2006, the Fence Act passed in the Senate 80 -19. The Secure Fence Act of 2006’s goal was to help secure America’s borders to decrease illegal entry, drug trafficking, and security threats by building 700 miles of double-layered fencing along the Mexico-United States border. nObama has ignored what Congress intended. Those vehicle barriers (above) can be easily hopped by any small child or even a bald overweight blogger. If nObama didn’t build this fence, what makes people believe he will enact any other border security legislation, like the security elements of the Gang of Eight bill for example?.

The Media’s Faux Outrage Over “Domestic Terrorism”
{Cliff Kincaid} ~ We don’t remember any outrage from the media over the alleged roles played by nObama associates Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn in the 1970 bombing murder of San Francisco police officer Brian V. McDonnell... In fact, the media peddled the nonsense that Ayers and Dohrn, who helped launch Barack nObama’s political career, were “anti-war activists” who bombed a few buildings and never hurt anyone. Since “domestic terrorism” is now a topic of concern for the media, in the wake of the attack on the Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado, can we expect the media to pressure nObama Attorney General Loretta Lynch to gather new evidence in the McDonnell case? It’s not likely. Lynch has already seized upon the killings at the Planned Parenthood clinic, saying federal officials “stand ready to offer any and all assistance to the district attorney and state and local law enforcement in Colorado as they move forward with their investigation.” Yet, neither Lynch nor her predecessor, Eric Holder, committed any resources toward solving the McDonnell murder, which is still an open case..

On Oct. 28, hanoi-Kerry presented his vision of U.S. policy in the Middle East, convinced that peaceful coexistence can surmount the inherently complex, anti-American, 14-century-old violent and intolerant Islamic Middle East: “Just imagine a future where people from the Nile to Jordan and Euphrates are free to live and work and travel as they choose, where every boy and girl has access to quality education, where visitors are able to flock without fear.” hanoi-Kerry’s suspension of disbelief triggered a Nov. 21 column by Amir Taheri, the most experienced columnist of the prestigious Saudi daily, Asharq al-Awsat, expressing the views of the House of Saud and the Arab world at large: “What hanoi-Kerry offers is mediocre poetry … commissioning marketing studies while the whole region is in flames … a fireman trying to put out the flames, so far without success … failure on a grand scale. … Under the deal which hanoi-Kerry was boasting of, Iran retains full capacity to build a nuclear arsenal within one year.”

{THOMAS PETERS} ~ Earlier this week in Northern Ireland, Notre Dame honorary-degree holder President nObama called for an end to Catholic schools, in front of an audience of about 2,000 young people — many of them Catholic... I would argue this is actually even worse than it seems at first glance. After all, under nObama we have seen the rise of a toxic government culture where unelected bureaucrats feel enabled to target and harass American citizens whose political views differ from their own. Now that President nObama has essentially saw fit to declare open season on Catholic schools abroad, what’s to stop the U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan or other officials in that department from seeing nObama’s remarks as their excuse to start harassing Catholic schools here?

Last week, The New York Times stated that reports about ISIS began trickling out of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2012, during an election campaign in which Barack nObama repeatedly boasted about al-Qaida being dismantled and on the run. Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, who was in charge of the Defense Intelligence Agency at that time, told the New York Times that the report "was disregarded by the White House." He said, "Frankly, at the White House, it didn't meet the narrative."

Anything the press saw that ran contrary to Bush Administration thinking had to be put into an equation to change Administration plans. The nObama Administration has not only refused to change with new facts and data, but seemingly tried to redact and revise facts to keep an existing narrative going. The American press has largely let Barack nObama get away with it, and we can only hope the body count, as a result, will be low.
