Gowdy Sure IG Horowitz Can Do
Sessions’ Job – Nothing To See Here
{ rickwells.us } ~ More than once over the past few months, and as recently as the end of January this year, Rep Trey Gowdy... urged Republicans to leave Robert Mueller “the hell alone.” He’s consistent, now stating in a national television interview that he’s got a lot of confidence in the DOJ Inspector General to hold Andrew McCabe accountable for leaks. Leaks are bad enough, but they are hardly the most egregious offense by Andrew McCabe, who led an attempted coup against President Trump. Is this some attempt to minimize the offenses, setting the table for a future plea deal of some sort and the continued obstruction of justice? Gowdy sounds great sometimes but there are more than a few instances where what he’s saying just doesn’t sound right. And it’s also worth noting that the IG has no prosecutorial powers. Why delay, bring in a special counsel and lets really get to the bottom of the whole liar-nObama/liar-Clinton/scum-Soros Mafia Septic Tank. After stating his confidence in Michael Horowitz, the Inspector General, Bartiromo asks, at the 2:46 mark of the video, if AG Sessions should be looking into the matters. It should be a simple matter, since the integrity of the Justice Department hangs in the balance and it has nothing to do with the very broad recusal Sessions has been hiding behind... https://rickwells.us/gowdy-ig-horowitz-sessions/

Sessions greenlights police to seize cash,
property from people suspected of
crimes but not charged
by Sari Horwitz
{ washingtonpost.com } ~ The Justice Department announced a new federal policy Wednesday to help state and local police take cash and property from people suspected of a crime... even without a criminal charge, reversing an liar-nObama administration rule prompted by past abuse by police. Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein said the Justice Department will include more safeguards to prevent the kind of problems that have been documented in the past. Police departments will be required to provide details to the Justice Department about probable cause for seizures, and federal officials will have to more quickly inform property owners about their rights and the status of the seizures. “The goal here is to empower our police and prosecutors with this important tool that can be used to combat crime, particularly drug abuse,” Rosenstein said at a news briefing. “This is going to enable us to work with local police and our prosecutors to make sure that when assets are lawfully seized that they’re not returned to criminals when there’s a valid basis for them to be forfeited.”...   https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/sessions-gre...

Has The Deep State Weaponized
The Security Clearance Process?
by Jeff Dunetz
{ lidblog.com } ~ Something strange is going on, executive branch personnel whose security clearance should have been granted months ago are still waiting for their clearance... The most public of these delays is the case of President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. Sean M. Bigley, a federal security clearance lawyer who represents several senior administration officials told the  Washington Times a “small group of career bureaucrats holed up in the Old Executive Office Building”  “turned security reviews into quicksand to ensnare President Trump’s team” “The security clearance process is being weaponized by anti-Trump bureaucrats who are using it as a tool to not only thwart the president’s agenda but to prevent him from installing appointees who will execute it,”...  https://lidblog.com/deep-state-weaponized-security-clearance/

Putin Says He Will ‘Never’
Extradite Russians Charged By Mueller
by CHUCK ROSS
{ dailycaller.com } ~ Russian President Vladimir Putin says he will “never” extradite a group of Russian nationals indicted... in February by special counsel Robert Mueller for interfering in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Putin also denied that the Russian government was involved in election meddling, in an interview with NBC’s Megyn Kelly that aired Sunday, Kelly asked Putin about Mueller’s indictments of 13 Russian nationals who are accused of using fake personas to plant political ads and promote political rallies on American social media sites. Mueller issued indictments for the operatives as well as three companies involved in the effort. “I know that they do not represent the Russian state, the Russian authorities,” Putin told Kelly...   http://dailycaller.com/2018/03/04/putin-extradite-russians-mueller/...

How A Pathetic Republican Party Is Allowing ‘The Resistance’ To Run The Score —
And The Government
by CHRISTOPHER BEDFORD
{ dailycaller.com } ~ Senate Republicans are heading toward midterm elections with control of their chamber and the biggest advantage any majority party has had since 1790... Yet every week, the Democrats are allowed to work just 2.5 days before returning home to duke it out with their Republican challengers. That is, Mitch McConnell is allowing Democrats to hit the campaign trail hard while obstructing 139 of the president’s nominees. In eight months, eight Republican seats and 26 Democratic seats are up for grabs. That’s less than one sixth of GOP seats, and more than half of Democrats’ seats, including 10 in states President Donald Trump won in 2016 — half of which by 10 or more points. While three Republicans’ seats will be open elections, every one of the Democrats’ seats is defended by a working senator, or at least should be. Instead of working, however, these senators are clocking into the office late on Monday, generally starting the work week Tuesday morning, and heading back to the trail Thursday, often before lunchtime... http://dailycaller.com/2018/03/04/mitch-mcconnell-senate-resistance...

Do Not Give An Inch
On The Second Amendment

by Derek Hunter
{ townhall.com } ~ Democrats, in a feat of political exploitation unrivaled in the 21st century, are now using the kids from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School to sign fundraising emails. Part of me had hoped the party of grave-dancing would find using children in this way would be a bridge too far, but the rest of me knew they didn’t have it in them to be tactful, decent people. After all, every left-wing activist group had, one day after the shooting,  started sweeping into town to organize what they and their fellow travelers in the media all claimed was an “organic, grassroots” response to the tragedy. If they couldn’t wait 24 hours before attaching the marionette strings to those kids, the fact that they waited 2 weeks before attempting to use them to line their own pockets is as close to decency as they’re going to get.

With that in mind, and as liberals line up behind a shield made of children to march on the Second Amendment, it’s important to remember what happens when you attempt to compromise with people whose ultimate goal is your obliteration and why no amount of compromise will ever be enough.

There is an example from our recent past that shows how compromise works when it comes to big government liberals. It may not be perfect, and it isn’t pretty, but it is what happens when you accept the concept of diminishing the rights of innocent people over the actions of the guilty.

You have to dig in your heels and make clear you will never, ever acquiesce to their demands. This has been the tactic of the National Rifle Association when it comes to the Second Amendment, and it is the correct choice. But it hasn’t been the choice made by others in the past.

One particular group that has seen “compromise” used as a way to strip them of their rights is smokers. Now smokers aren’t exactly a group of people who are going to elicit a lot of sympathy or concern from people (junkies, sure, but people who use a legal product are fair game when it comes to attack, which is weird). But what happened to smokers is a useful tool for illustrating why the American people should not compromise with liberals when it comes to one of our fundamental freedoms.

Comedian and podcaster Adam Carolla has made this point many times on his show, so I can’t take credit for it. But it certainly exemplifies how a slope quickly becomes slippery and, if your interest is simply compromise, you can compromise your rights away.

To paraphrase Carolla, there was a time when you could smoke in restaurants. They are private property, and if the owner wanted to allow smoking, smoking was allowed. Then the government (liberals) decided smokers should be herded into their own area of a restaurant, the “smoking section.” So they went so smokers in the main dining room and said, “We’re going to need you to sit over here, in this side room You can smoke all you want, we just don’t want other people to smell it while they’re eating. You understand, right?”

Smokers, not wanting to cause a scene and knowing some non-smokers could be annoyed, happily complied.

Then the government comes back and says, “We’re going to need you to move to the bar area when you smoke. People are drinking there, and eating here, so it’d just be better if you moved over there.”

Smokers picked up their ashtrays, “Sure thing,” they said, and moved to the bar.

The government comes back and says they need smokers to step out front. “If you could just stand out front and smoke, that would be much better for everyone, OK? Don’t worry, there’s an awning and a heater, so you’ll be protected from the weather.”

Smokers picked up and moved outside.

“If you could move 50 feet from the door, that would be very helpful,” the government said next. “People smell smoke as they walk in the door and we don’t want that. Thanks.”

And now smokers are stuck down the block, wet and wondering how this happened. If someone had come up to them at first and said, “Hey, get down the street if you want to smoke,” it never would have happened, they wouldn’t have stood for it. But little by little, inch by inch, they moved because each move was small and seemed like a compromise.

Now smokers are never getting back inside, even if the owners of a bar or restaurant want them to. Their rights are gone, the private property rights of the owners are gone, and it was all done in the name of compromise.

There is no compromise with someone who doesn’t want you to exist, there is only incrementally losing ground until you no longer exist. A right diminished will never return, government does not cede back power once seized.

The NRA is right to hold its ground, it’s why the organization exists in the first place. Liberals are not honest brokers when it comes to the issue of guns, and neither is the media. Trying to appease leftists never works because nothing short of everything they want is ever enough for them.

If people who support the Second Amendment start to compromise with liberals whose ultimate goal is to strip everyone of their right to defend themselves, it won’t be too long before they’re out on the street in the rain with the smokers. Never give them an inch.

CRIME!! -> Clinton Nightmare! Chief Financial Officer Of Clinton Foundation Turns Government Informant On Crime Family

Donations to the Clinton Foundation plummeted by 90% over a three-year period since Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election to President Donald Trump.

But that may be the least of the her worries.

John Solomon from The Hill dropped another bombshell that will keep the Clintons up at night.

The former Chief Financial Officer of the Clinton Foundation has turned on the crime family and is now working as a government informant.

This could spell doom for the Clinton Crime Family.

American Thinker reported:

John Solomon of The Hill reveals the story that has been percolating for a long time but kept tightly under wraps – because that is what serious prosecutors do, especially when grand juries are poring over evidence and issuing indictments that remain sealed until the right moment comes. The trigger for the story coming out now probably is a House subcommittee hearing scheduled next week by Mark Meadows, chair of the House Freedom Caucus, while the GOP still can set the agenda of House hearings.

[A] GOP-led congressional subcommittee, led by Rep. Mark Meadows (N.C.), is planning to hold a hearing next week to review the work of John Huber, the special U.S attorney named a year ago to investigate all things Clinton.

It turns out that whistleblowers inside and outside the Clinton Foundation have amassed “6,000 pages of evidence attached to a whistleblower submission filed secretly more than a year ago with the IRS and FBI.” Among that evidence can be found:

Those reviews flagged serious concerns about legal compliance, improper commingling of personal and charity business and “quid pro quo” promises made to donors while Hillary Clinton was secretary of State.

The submission also cites an interview its investigators conducted with Andrew Kessel that quotes the foundation’s longtime chief financial officer as saying he was unable to stop former President Clinton from “commingling” personal business and charitable activities inside the foundation and that he “knows where all the bodies are buried.”

Their own investigation! That’s hard to put down as politically motivated.

Having the chief financial officer of the Clinton Foundation turn informant is a nightmare for the Clintons. The CFO has to process all the cash, and because that person usually is on the hook for any criminal violations, there is ample incentive to turn state’s evidence.

That evidence was assembled by a private firm called MDA Analytics LLC, run by accomplished ex-federal criminal investigators, who alleged the Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal activities and may be liable for millions of dollars in delinquent taxes and penalties.

In addition to the IRS, the firm’s partners have had contact with prosecutors in the main Justice Department in Washington and FBI agents in Little Rock, Ark.
