Freddie Gray Investigation Handed Over to Prosecutors
Baltimore city officials are mum after the police department handed its investigation into the death of Freddie Gray over to state prosecutors Thursday, a day before they said the investigation would be completed. The public still doesn't know the details surrounding the 25-year-old's death. Maryland State Attorney Marilyn Mosby said, "While we have and will continue to leverage the information received by the department, we are not relying solely on their findings but rather the facts that we have gathered and verified. We ask for the public to remain patient and peaceful and to trust the process of the justice system." Prosecutors will decide whether or not to bring charges against the six police officers who are currently suspended from the Baltimore police force.
Meanwhile, the likes of Al Sharpton are in Baltimore, and they will not be satisfied if the prosecutors' decision doesn't go their way. Daniel Henninger writes in The Wall Street Journal, "When Al Sharpton popularized the chant, 'No justice, no peace,' it was unmistakably clear that 'no peace' was an implicit threat of civil unrest. Not civil disobedience, as practiced by Martin Luther King Jr. Civil unrest." In Campaign, Hilly Clinton Distances Herself From Bill
On April 29, Hilly Clinton stood before an audience at Columbia University and criticized America's criminal justice system, the system her husband helped create in 1994 with the passage of his Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act. "We have allowed our criminal justice system to get out of balance," Ms. Clinton said. "And these recent tragedies [in Baltimore and Ferguson] should galvanize us to come together as a nation to find our balance again." This is not the only instance where Hilly has positioned herself directly opposing the legislation and policies that her husband's administration instituted some 20 years before. Bill signed the Defense of Marriage Act into law; Hilly now says same-sex marriage is a constitutional right. Bill's administration repealed the Glass-Steagall Act; Hilly wants it restored. The Washington Free Beacon reports that this distancing extends all the way to edits of Hilly's official campaign bio. In 2008, her biography said "she followed her heart and a man named Bill Clinton to Arkansas" instead of pursuing a career at a big law firm. Eight years later, Clinton's bio now says she skipped the big-law career path because she wanted to fight for children and families at the Children's Defense Fund. But unlike most earlier incursions, no U.S. interceptor jets were dispatched to shadow them, said defense officials familiar with the latest U.S.-Russian aerial encounter. The incident was the first Russian bomber incursion of a U.S. or Canadian air defense zone this year. Officials said it likely signals the start of Russia’s long-range aviation spring training cycle. CHAI, the biggest arm of the Clinton family’s charitable efforts, accounting for 60 percent of all spending, received $3,193,500 in fiscal years 2010, 2011, and 2012, according to federal contracts, during Hilly Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) to the National Defense Authorization Act of 2016 that gives backhanded approval to the illegal violation of immigration law being committed by Hussein nObama...his henchman Jeh Johnson of DHS, and the unfortunate Americans in that department who are forced to choose between obeying the law, defending our nation and their careers. Six sellout RINOs joined with Democrats in a 33-30 vote in favor of the amendment which “encourages” the Secretary of Defense to waive military enlistment requirements for illegal aliens who receive sanctuary from their lawbreaking under the lawbreaking of the occupant of the White House. DACA protected illegal aliens would be treated in a manner similar to that which would have been prescribed under the DREAM Act if it had passed. Since it didn’t pass, those in the minority have apparently found a way to circumvent the wishes of the majority, placing a tacit stamp of approval on the unconstitutional acts of the “president.” Six pro-lawbreaking Republican Congressmen voted with their always anti-American Democrat counterparts in support of the amendment. (Bob Unruh) - Early in President nObama’s tenure in the White House, Catholic Online and other media outlets reported what appeared to be a deliberate attack on the Constitution’s “freedom of religion” protections...The report noted a crucial change in nObama’s language between his June 2009 speech in Cairo, Egypt, where he spoke of a Muslim America and its “freedom of religion,” to the November 2009 memorial for the Fort Hood soldiers gunned down by a radical Muslim, where he termed it “freedom of worship.” From that point on, “freedom of worship” has become the term of choice, the report said. Now, the Daily Signal reports, the federal government has been using the term “freedom of worship” instead of the constitutional “freedom of religion” when it tests immigrants who wish to become citizens on their knowledge of the Constitution.

About Half Of State nObamacare Exchanges May Go Belly Up

Sun & Niraj Chokshi) - According to the Washington Post about half of the nObamacare heath insurance exchanges set up by the states are real danger of financial collapse...The solutions being created range from getting more money from the taxpayers to closing down shop and transferring their members to the federal exchange. However consideration of moving to the federal exchanges has to wait until after next months Supreme Court decision about whether people who signed up to those exchanges are electable for the same subsidies dictated by the ACA as those who live in states with their own healthcare marketplace. The Supreme Court will decide by the end of June whether consumers in the 34 states using the federal exchange will be barred from receiving subsidies to buy insurance.

. Israel has no margin of error when it comes to nuclear reactors in nations that threaten its existence. While President nObama does everything in his power to enable Iran to create its own nuclear weapons, it is a good idea to recall that in June 1981 the Israelis destroyed a reactor in Iraq. It was the first air strike against such a facility. In September 2007, the Israelis destroyed a Syrian reactor. There was no reprisal in either case.
. From Wednesday, April 22 to Friday April 24 the Israelis struck Hizbollah and Syrian military targets in the Walamoun Mountains on the Syrian-Lebanese border. The calculations were that the location, a site for long-range missiles, would be safer from the Israelis. They were wrong.
. In September 2014, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations General Assembly warning “don’t be fooled by Iran’s manipulative charm offensive. It’s designed for one purpose and for one purpose only. To lift the sanctions and remove the obstacles to Iran’s path to the bomb.”

. Sources close to event report that Netanyahu has achieved close coordination with the most important Arab leaders that include Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Other members of the Council include Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
