by israelnationalnews.com ~ The largest energy project in the history of the State of Israel is reaching its final stages of completion and remains on schedule to deliver first commercial gas sales... to the Israel domestic market and regional markets before the end of the year. In recent weeks the Leviathan partnership –comprised of Noble Energy, Delek Drilling and Ratio – completed the construction and testing of the production units (topsides) of the Leviathan Platform that will process natural gas from the reservoir and transport it to Israel’s national gas pipeline. The first of five operational units that comprise the topsides set sail from Texas. In the coming weeks, the remaining units will set sail for Israel. The topside units, built during the past 26 months by Noble Energy experts and subcontractors specializing in complex offshore projects, will cross the Atlantic Ocean and arrive in Israeli waters at the end of the Summer. Considerable activity will take place in the Leviathan Platform area offshore after the topside units arrive on large barges. They will be accompanied by a fleet of vessels that will enable a team of workers to assemble the five topside units on top of the platform jacket into a complete operational structure in September. The hoisting and assembly work will be performed by the largest offshore crane in the world. The area will be closed to maritime traffic. The entire process will take approximately four weeks, after which the crane and barges will leave the area. Crew vessels and supply boats will continue to serve the platform over the life of the platform. The Leviathan Platform will be set at a water depth of 86 meters, and the height of the topsides from sea level to the top level is 47 meters. The platform boom, which reaches a height of 130 meters above sea level, is part of the platform safety system...  http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/265933

godfatherpolitics.com } ~ A recent study of the voter rolls in Los Angeles County finds that they have 1.6 million MORE voters on the rolls than they have eligible voters living in the area... This means that L.A. County has enough extra voters to equal the population of Philadelphia on its voter rolls! Worse, despite being aware of the situation, county officials don’t much care to fix the problem. As Mark Hemingway wrote today: This means that L.A. is in violation of federal law, which seeks to limit fraud by requiring basic voter list maintenance to make sure that people who have died, moved, or are otherwise ineligible to vote aren’t still on the rolls. Los Angeles County has made only minimal efforts to clean up its voter rolls for decades. It began sending notices to those 1.6 million people last month to settle a lawsuit brought by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch.  L.A. County is not the only California county with such a problem. “10 of the state’s 58 counties also have registration rates exceeding 100% of the voting age population. In fact, the voter registration rate for the entire state of California is 101%,” Hemingway reported. Eight other states have voter rolls that exceed their actual voting population, and 38 states have at least one country where the disparity exists... Thats why we need a citizen question on the census.

Lt. Col. Allen West Says ‘liar-Pulosi Just … Committed a High Crime and Misdemeanor’

westernjournal.com } ~ President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that the Democrats are impeding his efforts to reform immigration and address the crisis at the southern border... Republican lawmakers such as Sen. Ted Cruz, Rep. Dan Crenshaw and Rep. Matt Gaetz have joined the president in criticizing their political opponents’ disingenuous exploitation of the issues. And they are telling the truth.  A recent report from National Review quoted liar-Nancy Pulosi giving advice to illegal immigrants on how to avoid arrest and deportation. “An ICE deportation warrant is not the same as a search warrant,” liar-Pulosi said at a press conference. “If that is the only document ICE brings to a home raid, agents do not have the legal right to enter a home. If ICE agents don’t have a warrant signed by a judge, a person may refuse to open the door and let them in,” liar-Pulosi continued. If that wasn’t bad enough, liar-Pulosi went on, behind closed doors, to explain her “know your rights” campaign for illegal immigrants. If the fact that the Speaker of the House is advising illegal immigrants on how to avoid apprehension from Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers doesn’t sit well with you, you aren’t the only one. Former Florida Rep. and retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel Allen West responded with the serious charge that liar-Pulosi’s actions bordered on treason. “Unless I am grossly mistaken, Ms. liar-Pulosi just violated her oath of office and has committed a high crime and misdemeanor,” West tweeted.“High crimes and misdemeanors” is a classification of offense for which Art. II, Sec. 4 of U.S. Constitution provides grounds for impeachment. And West may be right. According to Jon Roland of the Constitution Society, high crimes refer “to those punishable offenses that only apply to high persons, that is, to public officials, those who, because of their official status, are under special obligations that ordinary persons are not under, and which could not be meaningfully applied or justly punished if committed by ordinary persons.”...

Socialism, for Lack of a Better Word, Sucks

americanthinker.com } ~ Socialism is a hot topic these days. Democratic presidential wannabes, including commie-Bernie Sanders, say they’re for it, and recent polls indicate about 40 percent of American young people are too... Over the last few years, my buddy Ben Powell, who is a professor of economics at Texas Tech, and I toured the world, drank a lot of beer, and saw for ourselves how things are going in former and current socialist nations. It turns out the quality and availability of beer in each of these countries is an accurate, at-a-glance way to assess their political systems. Our first stop was Sweden, which commie-Bernie Sanders and others extol as an ideal example of socialism. I’ve got news for commie-Bernie and his crew -- Sweden is no more socialist than the United States. Ben and I have been there, and the beer is good and cold, produced by privately owned companies, imported from all over the world, and sold at privately owned bars at unregulated prices. Those prices are high, because of Sweden’s notoriously high taxes, which are about 50% higher than in the U.S., but that’s not socialism. Socialism is a system of government in which the means of production and the raw materials are controlled by the government. Think of your least-favorite government office -- is it the Post Office? Or maybe the DMV? Then imagine every business in our nation, from Starbucks to Procter & Gamble to car manufacturers, being run the same way. What does that do to beer? We went to Venezuela and Cuba to find out. In Venezuela, the country has actually run out of beer on several occasions. Yes, you read that right. The entire country has run out of beer. How could that happen? The government, which controls the foreign exchange market, couldn’t or wouldn’t allocate enough hard currency for the largest beer company, Empress Polar, to buy sufficient quantities of malted barley from outside the country...

Civilizational Suicide: Qatar’s Vision
Shapes American Classrooms

clarionproject.org } ~ Qatar’s vision for America is now being peddled through our children’s classrooms, targeting a pliable population and one with a long shelf life... Beyond its media empires and bought-off D.C. influencers and think tanks, Qatar has set its sight on the next generation of Americans. In the last 10 years, Qatar has given over $30 million to public schools and over $1.4 billion to universities. Those universities include: Funding universities isn’t just about charitable giving that trickles down to the benefit of academia. Although we might like to think that academia is more insulated from political pressure than other sectors of American society, in fact, college campuses have become a breeding ground for irrational emotional outbursts that only tolerate the pre-scripted narrative of political correctness. However, even that is a generous description. In truth, the problem began much earlier. In The Closing of the American Mind, author Allan Bloom discusses the 1969 incident at Cornell University involving the guns-on-campus crisis, narrating the events in a way that help us understand how Qatari money into schools not only shapes policy and planning but dictates which behaviors will be tolerated: “The temptation to alter the facts in these disciplines in social sciences are enormous. Reward, punishment, money, praise, blame, sense of guilt and desire to do good, all swirl around … Thus it was in social science that the radicals first stuck. A group of black activists disrupted the class of an economics teacher, then proceeded to the chairman’s office and held him and his secretary hostage for thirteen hours. The charge, of course, was that a teacher was racist in using a Western stand for judgment of the efficiency of African economic performance. The students were praised for calling the problem to the attention of the authorities, the chairman refused to proffer charges against them, and the teacher disappeared miraculously from campus, never to be seen again. This kind of problem solving was typical… Historians were being asked to rewrite the history of the world, and of the United States in particular, to show that nations were always conspiratorial systems of domination and exploitation.” That incident took place over half a century ago. Today, it is more or less the narrative of most college campuses. The American education system has become so insipid and malleable that one needs only whisper a micro-aggression or cry racism to manipulate the academic environment...  https://clarionproject.org/qatars-vision-shapes-american-classrooms/?utm_source=Clarion+Project+Newsletter&utm_campaign=b2da25eb0e-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2019_03_17_12_03_COPY_02&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_60abb35148-b2da25eb0e-6442509&mc_cid=b2da25eb0e&mc_eid=b83b13a9b5

Alternate Route for the Citizenship Question

Nate Jackson:  All the wrangling over the citizenship question on the 2020 census led Thursday to President Donald Trump’s Rose Garden announcement that while he will no longer attempt to put the question on next year’s census, he will take action to collect as much pertinent information as possible from his Cabinet agencies.

Trump declared, “I will be issuing an executive order to put this very plan into effect immediately. I’m hereby ordering every department and agency in the federal government to provide the Department of Commerce with all requested records regarding the number of citizens and noncitizens in our country.”

“It is essential that we have a clear breakdown of the number of citizens and noncitizens that make up the U.S. population,” he asserted. “Knowing this information is vital to formulating sound public policy.” It’s also vital in determining accurate population counts for representation in Congress. And it was no big deal until Trump became president. Rep. Jim Jordan noted, “We’ve been asking the citizenship question on the census in one form or another for 200 years.”

With no apparent self-awareness or sense of irony, Senate Minority Leader Chuck scumbag-Schumer pontificated, “It is nothing more — the president’s action — than a naked political power grab, which is one of the few things he’s good at as president.” scumbag-Schumer added, “He will try anything to rewrite the rules to his advantage.”

scumbag-Schumer perfectly described what Democrats do in attempting to rig elections to their advantage and what Barack scumbag/liar-nObama did for eight years with “naked political power grabs.” Indeed, Trump argued correctly, rabid opposition to the citizenship question “is part of a broader left-wing effort to erode the rights of the American citizen.” Citizens who, by the way, support the citizenship census question by large majorities.

As a final thought, it’s possible that Democrats are digging a hole for themselves on redistricting. In other words, by excluding the citizenship question and then pushing for redistricting based on population growth, they could be opening themselves up for legal challenges because there is not sufficient evidence that the people counted are U.S. citizens.
