In All the Mueller Talk, Don't Forget the
Embarrassing scumbag liar-Jerrold Nadler
by Gordon Wysong

americanthinker.com } ~ Robert Mueller stirred the pot, then retreated from the chaos. Sitting in his comfy sinecure, funded by the American taxpayers, he absolves himself of any heavy lifting..
. Like the second-leg relay racer, whose lap has been run, Mueller has passed the baton and now believes he is nothing but a spectator. To whom has he passed that baton? None other than House Judiciary chairman scumbag liar-Jerrold Nadler. This battery-operated cipher, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee, is a prime example of opportunity lost. Lamentably, he may reflect the voters of his district, but he is no sadder than several other Democrats, who also seem to lack a demonstrable intellect. The public has actually seen Democrats praise unemployment checks as economic stimulus, decry military personnel for capsizing islands, and say China is just good folks, so thinking Americans are no longer expecting much out of them. Nonetheless, this sad spectacle of a man, while doing such a good job of demonstrating a Napoleon complex, still denies to voters from other districts the services they deserve from the Judiciary Committee. Once scumbag liar-Nadler decided to champion a conspiracy theory — that is as patently false and easily disprovable as Russian collusion — he and we have to play out the string. In doing so, he got applause from the MSM that would embarrass a self-respecting person. Like the dupe whitewashing a fence, there is no awareness of being used. Now he is stuck with his weird position, since he cannot muzzle the ego that motivates him and thereby run the risk of disappointing his MSM worshipers. Not self-aware enough to know he is UFO crazy, he keeps going, and going, and going. Normal behavioral checks have been lost. Zealotry is a harsh taskmaster. It forces you to actions that an analytical person could not countenance. scumbag liar-Nadler's own political allies have chosen an odd couple to carry this torch, and scumbag-Schiff must be wondering why he is now playing second fiddle to scumbag liar-Nadler. As the Kabuki theater is playing out, the other Democrats are not about to restrain scumbag liar-Nadler. They are afraid of the crazies he is placating and have decided to keep their heads down. Like Mikey of cereal commercial fame, he is the guinea pig, and his fellow travelers are waiting to see what happens when he tries it...   https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2019/06/in_all_the_mueller_talk_dont_forget_the_embarrassing_jerrold_nadler.html

U.S. Troops Mobilize: Trump
Isn’t Messing Around with Iran
WZBJdLXWcYzefgCSbWOpWyj8H18LPLRpdyPuj-NkCqLiGSUdZHgml2suXYlQ3_UM5wYfTmR699vfhfPPfIkqVN5oLpRLyJGpRSZ4uKvtqZ-OGAE7ERb_93TP4Sx_pU1LwJxOlfxzcYRox4S0FPwz=s0-d-e1-ft#%3Ca%20rel%3Dnofollow%20href=
by libertyplanet.com:  Escalating tensions with Iran prompted the U.S. to scramble fighter jets and position a troop buildup in the Middle East in what appears to be a harbinger of war... Officials at the Pentagon recently disclosed that the rogue regime has engaged in a plan to attack the U.S. and its peace-keeping partners in the region. An investigation into recent bombings of oil tankers in the United Arab Emirates region and rocket assaults in Iraq have been traced back to Iran and its proxies. “We have been able to empty the enemy’s (US) capacity for war. You see the decline and crash of the enemies’ speech,” Iranian Major General Hossein Salami said. “Today, Iran is an absolute power of the region.” In April, President Donald Trump officially branded the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terror organization based on its jihadist activities and support of organizations that wage violence against civilians. The radical Islamic nation has cowardly hidden behind the extremists it funds to do evil in the world. The U.S. already positions more than 70,000 peace-keeping forces in the Middle East, a Navy base in Bahrain, as well as an Air Force base in Qatar. The additional soldiers will join 5,200 in Iraq and upwards of 2,000 in Syria. President Trump plans to hold the terror-sponsor accountable, and more than 1,500 additional troops and a dozen more fighter jets are prepared to bring Iran to its knees. “This is truly operations driven by intelligence,” Vice Admiral Michael Gilday reportedly said. “I’m not reverse engineering this. The Iranians have said publicly they were going to do things. We learn more through intelligence reporting. They have acted upon those threats, and they’ve actually attacked.”...

Who Ran Crossfire Hurricane?

spectator.org } ~ Crossfire Hurricane” — the melodramatic code name for the FBI/CIA spy operation on candidate Trump and his early presidency — was run for the FBI by then-FBI Director scumbag-James Comey... his deputy Andrew McCabe, Special Agent Peter Strzok, and a few others. Then-CIA director scumbag/commie-John Brennan ran it for the CIA. scumbag/commie-Brennan had to have help, but who was it? A lot of evidence points to the CIA’s then-chief of station in London in 2016-2017, and now the Director of Central Intelligence, Gina Haspel. President Trump claimed that the FBI and CIA’s spying on his campaign and early presidency was treason. Attorney General William Barr said that, legally, it wasn’t. Barr is correct. But note well that he didn’t say that crimes other than treason weren’t committed. On Friday, Barr said that since he became attorney general he had been asking why the counter-intelligence investigation was begun and hasn’t yet gotten a satisfactory answer. The criminal investigation being conducted for Barr by U.S. Attorney John Durham is aimed at the intelligence community. As I wrote last week Trump’s recent executive order, which requires the intelligence agencies to cooperate with Barr and gives Barr the power to declassify anything he chooses, was probably necessitated by the stonewalling by the CIA and the NSA that Durham had already encountered. There is every reason for the CIA to stonewall. Its current director, Gina Haspel, must have played a major role in conducting the CIA/FBI spy op on Trump. One result of last week’s column was that one of my intelligence sources — a longtime veteran of the U.S. intelligence community — reappeared after about a year of silence. This person reminded me that he/she tried — unsuccessfully — to warn the White House against Haspel’s nomination to be DCI because of her longstanding close ties to scumbag/liar-nObama’s CIA chief, scumbag/commie-John Brennan. Many people who objected to Haspel’s confirmation, including Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), based their objections on the fact that Haspel had run a CIA site in Thailand in which terrorist suspects were reportedly waterboarded. The waterboarding charge was sufficient to get the Senate — and apparently the White House — to overlook the real problem with her: the fact that, as Paul once implied in a tweet, Haspel is scumbag/commie-Brennan’s acolyte and protégé. scumbag/commie-Brennan was — and still is — a hyper-partisan anti-Trumper. He was a relentless promoter of the Steele dossier allegations against Trump. Either he or scumbag-James Comey the two are disputing which insisted on including information from the Steele dossier in the Intelligence Community Assessment of January 2017, which said that the intelligence community had agreed that the Russians interfered in the 2016 election to benefit Trump. We know that scumbag/commie-Brennan has lied to Congress on a host of topics, including events surrounding the spy op on Trump’s campaign and presidency. Haspel’s longstanding loyalty to scumbag/commie-Brennan ranks her among the two or three worst personnel choices made by President Trump. Her loyalty to scumbag/commie-Brennan is more than a little relevant to Durham’s investigation because, as noted above, Haspel was the CIA’s Chief of Station (COS) in London from 2014-2017. It was during the latter two years of her tenure there when all of the FBI/CIA spying operation on Trump and his campaign occurred. I’m told that the most-coveted job in all of the CIA second only to the directorship is the COS-London job. Before her tenure there in 2014-2017, Haspel had already had that job from 2008 to 2011. It’s very unusual for anyone to have it twice. scumbag/commie-Brennan probably gave Haspel her second stint there as a reward for her loyalty... Now that is very interesting to know.

John Huber Took Us for a Ride
by Daniel John Sobieski

americanthinker.com } ~ Over a year ago, I asked in this space whether U.S. attorney John Huber could impartially and fully investigate FISA court abuses and other matters in which his boss, Deputy A.G. Rod Rosenstein, was up to his eyeballs...
In "Can Huber Investigate His Boss Rosenstein?," I asked: While it is reassuring to note that A.G. Jeff Sessions has climbed down from the back side of the milk carton, where his missing visage had been hiding, long enough to appoint Utah U.S. attorney John Huber to independently investigate claims of FBI abuses in surveilling the Trump campaign and other matters, one question remains.  Can he investigate the commission of his boss, Rod Rosenstein's, of a fraud upon the FISA court by signing a FISA warrant application that relied on a fake British-Russian dossier financed by Team scumbag/liar-Hillary and the DNC? Turns out he didn't investigate anything, according to A.G. William Barr in his recent interview with CBS.  Huber was "dumber" to Sessions's "dumb": JAN CRAWFORD: Um, what's the status of Huber's investigation in Utah? I think the former Attorney General Sessions had asked him to look at this. WILLIAM BARR: Right, so Huber had originally been asked to take a look at the FISA applications and the electronic surveillance but then he stood back and put that on hold while the Office of Inspector General was conducting its review, which would've been normal for the department.  And he was essentially on standby in case Mr. Horowitz referred a matter to him to be handled criminally. So he has not been active on this front in recent months and so Durham is taking over that role. The other issues he's been working on relate to scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton. Those are winding down and hopefully we'll be in a position to bring those to fruition. JAN CRAWFORD: So he won't be involved in this really at all then? WILLIAM BARR: No. JAN CRAWFORD: This is his role, it's done? WILLIAM BARR: Right. JAN CRAWFORD: And now Durham is going to pick up — WILL BARR: Yes, right...

Pat Buchanan

{townhall.com} ~ What is it about special counsel Robert Mueller that he cannot say clearly and concisely what he means?

His nine-minute summary of the findings of his office, after two years of investigation, was a mess. It guarantees that the internecine warfare that has poisoned our politics continues into 2020.

If it was the intention of the Russian hackers and trolls of 2016 to sow discord within their great power rival, they have succeeded beyond their dreams.

Consider. Of the charge of conspiracy to collude with the Russians to hack the emails of the DNC and scumbag/liar-Hillary Clinton's campaign, Mueller said, "there was insufficient evidence to charge a larger conspiracy."

This suggests that there was at least some evidence to conclude that Donald Trump's campaign did conspire with Vladimir Putin's Kremlin to fix the 2016 election, just not enough evidence to sustain a charge of treason.

Didn't they use to call this McCarthyism?

On obstruction of justice, Trump attempting to impede his investigation, Mueller said: "If we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so."

"Mueller Declines to Absolve Trump" was The New York Times headline.

That tells us that Mueller would not give Trump absolution. But why would Trump need absolution, if he did not commit the crime?

Mueller implied that his refusal to charge Trump publicly was based on a Justice Department ruling that presidents cannot be indicted.

But if the special counsel cannot indict a sitting president, and ought not charge him, as, said Mueller, it is "unfair to accuse somebody of a crime when there can be no court resolution of the actual charge," then what was the point of naming a special counsel?

If Mueller actually believes Trump was guilty of obstruction, why did he not forthrightly declare: "While the Justice Department's interpretation of the Constitution precludes my office us from indicting President Trump, we believe his actions during the course of our investigation constituted an obstruction of justice."

At least we would have clarity. Now we have Mueller walking out, without taking questions, and leaving us with this toxic mush.

Republicans should not let Mueller skate on this. For the scumbag-James Comey-Mueller investigation is itself in need of investigation.

Among the questions that need answering:

If, after two years, Mueller found "insufficient evidence" of collusion by Trump, what was the compelling evidence that justified launching the investigation of collusion during the scumbag/liar-nObama era?

Did that earlier "evidence" turn out to be false allegations and lies?

When did Mueller discover that George Papadopoulos and Carter Page were not agents of the GRU or KGB?

When did Mueller decide there was no collusion or conspiracy?

Was it not until this spring? Or has Mueller known for a good while there was no conspiracy?

Why are these questions important? Because the investigation itself, leaving as it did a cloud over the legitimacy of the president, was damaging not only to Trump but also to the nation. As long as half the country believed Trump was an agent or asset or blackmail victim of Putin, the nation could not come together.

Did Mueller feel no obligation to clear up that false impression as swiftly and fully as possible, if, indeed, he believes it is false?

When did Mueller discover the Steele dossier was the product of a dirt-diving operation, financed by the scumbag/liar-Clinton campaign and fabricated by a Trump-hating ex-chief of British intelligence with long ties both to former agents of Russia's FSB and scumbag-James Comey's FBI?

Did Mueller ever suspect that the investigation he inherited was a takedown operation, instigated by enemies of Trump who were determined that he never become president or, if he did, that his tenure would be short?

Mueller's performance Wednesday has reinvigorated the impeach-Trump caucus. But it has disserved the Democratic Party as much as it has the country.

The progressive left and its media auxiliaries, rabid on the subject, are egging on and cheering for candidates who call for impeachment. As of now, at least eight Democratic presidential candidates favor hearings.

The Democratic left is out to break Nancy Pelosi's resistance.

If they succeed and this city and the nation turn their attention to a titanic battle to see if the Democratic Party can remove the Republican president, it will be bad news for the republic.

The real business of the nation will be put off until 2021.

Meanwhile, the Venezuela crisis is smoldering, and Sen. Lindsey Graham is urging an ultimatum to Cuba to get its forces out.

North Korea is testing missiles again, with few believing Kim Jong Un will give up the security provided by his nuclear weapons.

And John Bolton is in the Middle East accusing Iran of acts of sabotage and war in Yemen and the Gulf, and of threats to American forces in Iraq.

Mueller's assignment was to give us answers. After two years, he gave us options.

The nation will pay a price for Mueller's muddling indecisiveness.
