Alan Dershowitz: dirty cop-Mueller's final
report 'is going to be devastating' for Trump
by Naomi Lim
{} ~ Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz predicted on Sunday that special counsel dirty cop-Robert Mueller's final report for the federal Russia investigation... will be calamitous for President Trump. "I think the report is going to be devastating to the president. I know the president's team is already working on a response to the report," Dershowitz said on ABC News' "This Week." "At some point when the report's made public, and that's a very hard question considering the new attorney general who has the authority to decide when and under what circumstance to make it public, it will be made public probably with a response alongside." But Dershowitz, who has been critical of dirty cop-Mueller's probe, clarified that he did not think the special counsel's conclusions after the more than yearlong Russia inquiry would lead to criminal repercussions for Trump."When I say 'devastating,' I mean it's going to paint a picture that's going to be politically very devastating. I still don't think it's going to make a criminal case because collusion is not criminal," he said. "What I think dirty cop-Mueller is going to do if he's smart is he's not going to take the chance on being rebutted. He's just going to lay out just the facts." Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker has come under fire for comments he made in the past undermining the dirty cop-Mueller investigation, sparking concerns regarding how he will handle the special counsel and his eventual report.
End the Madness
by Justin O Smith
{} ~ It is a bit of an alienating experience for one to see the nation of his birth and the principles of our ancestors under constant assault... from foreigners and people born here who are amerikkans rather than Americans. I refer to those Muslims who desire Sharia law, those who simply hate America, LaRaza with its Hispanic communists and conquerors who want to reclaim the Southwest for Mexico, the communist Democrat Party that seeks the eradication of our Founding Principles and the destruction of our Constitution and Republic, and those communist proletarians, the TAKERS, who seek their upkeep and livelihood at the expense of the U.S. taxpayer. But I am not powerless, even in my moments of weakness when I feel a bit lonely in the realization that far too many Americans are not concerned, as much as they should be over these developments. Although I may still suffer over the suffering of others, I know a better way than the “fundamental transformation” of America and “Democratic” Socialism exists for Us all; having things has never been so important to me as having Quality of Life and Liberty, and I intend to fight ’til my last dying gasp to keep this America, I love so well, on a path towards the greatest Freedom and Liberty for All. And as I stand firm against the rising tide of statists and globalists, I do not doubt my convictions and my rightness in this war for the heart and soul of America. I have not lost my sense of duty and dignity, and I am not for sale, no matter how much the Leftists of America try to isolate me from the public square, through their politically correct Commie castigation and censorship. I remain the same man I have always been — Free and Unashamed to be an American for ANY reason. I will never be coerced or forced to abandon the TRUTH and bow at the altar of the Super State, the Leviathan. You are not powerless either. All of You out there … All of You Fine American Patriots … have it within You to effect the changes You wish to see, in the manner in which We are all governed...
GM Closing All Operations in Oshawa Canada
by sundance
{} ~ Canadian media are reporting that General Motors plans to shut down operation in Oshawa, Canada... This is quite possibly an outcome that portends the sign of things to come. GM holds considerable risk exposure within the current state of international trade and economics as it relates to the auto industry. As a result of the ongoing U.S-China trade confrontation, GM holds risk as a result of heavy investment in China. Add to that exposure the very significant financial impacts about to start for heavy manufacturing operations inside countries aligned with the Paris Climate Treaty, and the risk increases. Specifically for auto-manufacturers the regulatory costs are unique. If a manufacturer is depended on the U.S. market as a destination for their products, and the company has existing manufacturing within the U.S, the cost differential means they will likely have to absorb any climate change regulatory/tax cost in addition to the looming Trump tariffs. The best financial play is to drop some of the risk and focus on execution of a business model within the market that is of primary value; that’s the USA. I would surmise those cost analytics are part of the dynamic at work...
Russia fires on and seizes Ukrainian
ships near annexed Crimea
by Andrew Osborn and Pavel Polityuk
{} ~ Russia’s FSB security service said early on Monday its border patrol boats had seized the Ukrainian naval vessels in the Black Sea... and used weapons to force them to stop, Russian news agencies reported. The FSB said it had been forced to act because the ships - two small Ukrainian armored artillery vessels and a tug boat - had illegally entered its territorial waters, attempted illegal actions, and ignored warnings to stop while maneuvering dangerously. “Weapons were used with the aim of forcibly stopping the Ukrainian warships,” the FSB said in a statement circulated to Russian state media. “As a result, all three Ukrainian naval vessels were seized in the Russian Federation’s territorial waters in the Black Sea.” The FSB said three Ukrainian sailors were wounded in the incident and were getting medical care. Their lives were not in danger, it said. With relations still raw after Russia’s annexation of Crimea and its backing for a pro-Moscow insurgency in eastern Ukraine, the incident risks pushing the two countries toward a wider conflict...
Gov.-Elect Walz’s Gas Tax Hike
Plan Faces Opposition
by Michael Carroll
{} ~ Gov.-elect Tim Walz continues to express support for raising Minnesota's gas tax to better address the state's infrastructure and transit needs... but some policy observers want lawmakers to put the brakes on the idea. Walz, a Democrat, emphasized the issue during the midterm election campaign by suggesting that Minnesotans need to have an honest discussion about more funding for long-term projects such as bridges and roads. Walz's transition team did not respond to requests for details about Walz's tax proposal, but he spoke about the issue during recent interviews with Minnesota broadcast outlets. "It's clear that Minnesota's infrastructure is behind where it needs to be," Walz said on television station WCCO in Minneapolis. "That causes congestion, that causes accidents."... He will be one term governor.
Dem Lawmaker Brings Nuke to Tweet Fight
by Media Editors:   Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-CA, wants to take your AR-15. When a veteran on Twitter tells him that would start a war, the Congressman threatens him with nuclear consequences. This, from a guy with his eye on the White House.

Why Is California Such a Mess?
by Media Editors:  The glamour and sophistication often associated with California stands in startling difference to its reality. The Golden State, home to some of the wealthiest people in the U.S., is also home to a disproportionate number of people who are living in poverty.

Gohmert: Dems Will Drag Out Impeachment — Try To Get ‘Best Socialist’ Nominated For President

During an appearance on Huntsville, AL radio’s WVNN on Thursday, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) offered his best assessment of what House Democrats were trying to accomplish with their impeachment efforts.

Gohmert told WVNN’s “The Jeff Poor Show” impeachment could tie up the Democratic Party’s presidential campaign efforts but predicted Democrats would use the occasion to nominate “the best socialist” they can.

“They would lose in the Senate,” Gohmert said on impeachment. “And besides that, the entire time it was on trial in the Senate, the Democrats who are running for president wouldn’t be allowed to campaign. That’s in the Constitution. They wouldn’t be able to campaign. I just can’t imagine them wanting to do that because if they send it to the Senate, they have now perfectly set up the scenario of 1996, where they will reassure Donald Trump is reelected as president. They don’t want to do that. They’re probably going to drag this thing out as long as they possibly can … through Iowa, through primaries — try to get the best socialist they can to be nominated.”

“Then just end up and say, ‘Now we’re close enough to the general election. We’ve thrown mud at the president through the House,’” he continued. “What they’re really doing — they’re using taxpayer funds to campaign against Trump. That’s all this is — a campaign fund that taxpayers are paying for in order to try to throw mud at the president. I’ll be surprised if they have that vote, but I can’t imagine they want to set up this president for reelection by having a trial in the Senate where they lose.”
