Maybe It's Not a 'Gun Problem'
It took Barack nObama just 12 hours to classify the senseless killings in Charleston as a "gun problem," exploiting the blood of innocents as political fodder to advance his gun control agenda. In a press conference Thursday, nObama asserted, "At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries." Unless you count all the "mass violence ... in other advanced countries" like the recent Charlie Hebdo attack in France, where eleven were murdered. Oh wait, the Paris hate crime was perpetrated by Islamists — nObama doesn't count those (see Ft. Hood attack). But it was a nice sound bite. Moreover, other countries have not deliberately institutionalized urban poverty plantations, which have become mass breeding grounds for such violence. That is the inconvenient truth nObama will never mention. GOP Must Decide nObamaCare Policy Before SCOTUS Rules
The Supreme Court could issue a ruling as early as Monday in King v. Burwell, the case regarding whether the federal government overstepped its authority in paying out subsidies to those purchasing health insurance on the federal nObamaCare exchange. The GOP has been preparing for this moment for awhile now. If the Court strikes down the subsidies, a legislative fix will be needed, and proposals have been coming in from all sides of the conservative spectrum. Sen. Ron Johnson proposed extending the subsidies to 2017, as a Republican administration may occupy the White House then. The Heritage Foundation suggested repealing the subsidies. And Rep. Paul Gosar unveiled his Premium Reduction and Insurance Market Reform Act, a bill that would end subsidies and also end regulations like the age rating restriction. Now it is up to the Republican leadership in Congress to plot a policy and strategy to enact a conservative reform to nObamaCare. Chief Executive for Heritage Action for America Michael Needham said, "A continuation of illegal subsidies will simply cover up the law's costs while giving the impression Republicans believe subsidies are necessary for Americans to afford health insurance." Texas to Take Back $1 Billion in Gold From the Fed
Texas no longer trusts our nation's central bank to safely store its gold in New York City. For years, the Lone Star State has kept its $1 billion in gold in the hands of the Federal Reserve Bank, which has safeguarded the bullion of the U.S. government, foreign governments and other major organizations. But now, the state is setting up its own bullion depository and will soon withdraw its gold from Fed control. "Today I signed HB 483 to provide a secure facility for the State of Texas, state agencies and Texas citizens to store gold bullion and other precious metals," Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said in a statement June 12. "With the passage of this bill, the Texas Bullion Depository will become the first state-level facility of its kind in the nation, increasing the security and stability of our gold reserves and keeping taxpayer funds from leaving Texas to pay for fees to store gold in facilities outside our state." The move could be as simple as Texas stepping up and taking responsibility for its own assets, as well as providing a place for Texas citizens to store gold. Or, as CBS notes, it could be a step toward establishing a currency if Texas were to secede from the union. Regardless, it's a Texas two-step toward greater autonomy. -The Patriot Post

Russia – The Horseman of War
(Terresa Monroe-Hamilton) ~ Putin has been hot for the Ukraine and to continue his expansion of the Motherland. However, he seems to have backed off somewhat due to global pressure and financial worries... The radicals within Russia didn’t like that at all and pushed Putin even harder to militarily expand Russia’s reach. At this point, Putin began to bring together a coalition to protect himself and he began transferring power from the Federal Security Bureau to the Ministry of the Interior. That’s akin to taking power from the CIA and giving it to DHS. These two agencies do not play well together. On March 10th, Putin just up and disappeared for ten days. There were a lot of wild theories from the birth of a love child, to a coup. But no one has definitive proof yet. The most plausible explanation is that Putin was held against his will, while power was consolidated within Russia for the FSB and the fascists. He was told to play ball or get ready for the afterlife. This was a show of force by the FSB, Alexander Dugin and the fascists. I’m sure he was told in no uncertain terms to up the military aggression and the process of restoring the motherland. Someone like Putin doesn’t just ‘disappear’ for ten days for no reason. Along with Putin, Victor Zolotov, who controls 200,000 troops for the Ministry of Interior, disappeared with him. One of Putin’s closest crony allies also packed up his whole family, fled the country and simply vanished as well. So, the lines have been drawn in Russia and sides have been taken. Of the 11 cases left to decide, the biggest are a challenge by gay couples to state laws banning same-sex marriage and a conservative challenge to subsidies provided under the nObamacare law to help low- and middle-income people buy health insurance that could lead to millions of people losing medical coverage. Many legal experts predict the court will legalize gay marriage nationwide by finding that the U.S. Constitution's guarantees of equal treatment under the law and due process prohibit states from banning same-sex nuptials.

The agency submitted a solicitation Thursday, announcing its plans to hire a contractor for the purpose of “Water Monitoring Equipment and Collection of Data” of apartments in the city. “Region 8 of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for installation of water monitoring equipment,” the solicitation said. “Once installed the contractor will integrate the equipment with existing software system that will monitor water usage in multi-family housing units.
